Nice old house well kept and nicely decorated.
Good location a few minutes away from the main shopping areas and the cathedral as well as from the st Davis station and university.
Clear instructions
Very quiet
Friendly staff
It was all I wanted for a night in Exeter.
Got the smaller of the rooms, which was already a decent size.
Nothing I can say.
I didn't order breakfast so would not be able to comment.

We stayed at TS for two nights between 28th and 30th April 2024. Tim and Ken (in order of appearance ;-) are excellent hosts! They were very welcoming and friendly and this made our stay even more enjoyable. We did not expect to find such a cozy and uniquely decorated room/house and were pleasantly surprised. We loved the radio playing BBC3 when we entered the room and the view to the beautiful cathedral and cemetery in the back of the house. We opted for taking our breakfast in our room instead of going out to a café, as we usually do, and we are very glad we did so. It was left in a picnic bag in front of our door and a small note was slipped under our door to let us know. It was such a sweet gesture and the breakfast was delicious :-)
These are some of the small details that made us feel very comfortable and welcome in Townhouse Exeter and we are definitely staying there when we're back in the area again! Efharistoume poly!! E&Y

This guesthouse is a beautifully renovated old house not far from the city center. We were able to do everything on foot, once arrived at the hotel. The rooms are light and comfortable. Also the staff and the owners are very friendly.
The guesthouse is perfect, but the parking situation around it is difficult. If arriving by car you will have to find paying public parking not very close to the hotel.

Tasty breakfast, great location, hosts were helpful with arranging late check in.

Good beds.
No lift, but they carried the bags down for the people that could not carry it.

The hotel is in a fantastic location being within a short walking distance to the town centre and St David's train station. The hotel is very well decorated and the small touches in the bedroom make you feel very much at home.

A very nice bright room was pleasant to stay in. The pic-nic breakfast was very interesting. The host was a friendly gentleman who allowed my family to eat breakfast together in a nice room overlooking the garden.
We would have appreciated a pencil or pen in the room to complete the breakfast order.

Very friendly and helpful welcome. my room and the property in general was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a real treat.
parking was a bit tricky at the time I arrived- evening rush hour. not impossible though.

Host, location, breakfast, quite, comfortable
Bathroom small - acceptable but small

Close to station and city centre.
Single room minute - hardly anywhere to stand once they'd shoehorned everything in. Wouldn't stay here again.

I could not recommend this place more - we only stayed one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer! Great location, super comfortable, the loveliest staff, and one of the few places I've stayed at where they really thought to put everything you could possibly need in your room! Breakfast was delicious, there were so many options and you can enjoy it comfortably in your own room because it's delivered to your door. Will absolutely stay here again!
Nothing - everything was amazing!

Stylish and little comforts thought about like pillow spray and music playing in room on arrival. Hosts amazingly friendly and fab.
As is a lovely house rather than purpose built hotel, sometimes could hear noise from downstairs but not bad enough to worry!

Beautiful room, lovely fresh continental breakfast, spotlessly clean.
Nothing I can think of to improve!
4.5
The rooms are comfortable and beautifully equipped. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. Location is great, we walked everywhere. Very good value.
I missed the cooked breakfast which I loved on a previous occasion. The breakfast provided was lovely but some savoury options would be good for those of us without a sweet tooth.
4.5
The hosts were extremely accommodating to my check in request and my room was unexpectedly ready on my early arrival, which I was extremely grateful for - thanks again! The room was lovely and homely and the bed and pillows were very comfortable! Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. Wifi was great - no connection issues at all.
Location was a little further from the station than I was expecting, and up a pretty steep hill with a suitcase. But that's probably on me for not doing my research thoroughly. It was another 10 min walk into town which was fine.

Lovely comfortable room. Lot's of little extra touches e.g. a hair bobbin included with the shower cap, pillow spray to aid relaxation.

The continental breakfast (delivered to room) was delicious.
Staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
