The location and view of the space was great. The breakfast was good (but the same for the few days I stayed there). The wifi was strong and reliable.
The bathroom shower was a bit small.

Free parking and wifi
Directions were awful, distance to town is more than 20mins, breakfast was mediocre and didn't start until 740am, no hairdryers (despite advertising they had them available). Overall just not worth the money they charge.

Ideal for a stopover . Good views.efficient staff

Basic room but clean and fine for a few nights. Breakfast was very good. Quiet location and plenty of free parking. Very good value compared with hotels in town. Reception staff were very helpful as were staff in the dining hall.
A little bit out of town, a 25 minute walk. On the rainy night we were there we struggled to get a taxi into town as Exeter Chiefs had a home game. There was no problem getting a taxi back.

Location was quite hilly

Decent breakfast included in the price of the accommodation, which is served in a spacious hall with great views of Exeter and surroundings.
Rooms were quiet and clean, with small bathroom ensuite. Big wardrobe, availability of a safe for storing valuables.
The rooms are quite small.
Given that many shops on Exeter Uni's campus are closed during the mid-term holdiays and the hotel does not serve dinner, a microwave in the room would have been helpful, so that one can prepare one's own basic meal.

All the staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. As I got there at a quiet time, (students were on a break)I really enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the grounds. Beautiful views. And a lovely outdoor pool.Stunning viiew ,which I spent time in the evening sketching .
I found it difficult to book a session in the outdoor swining pool online but a helpful voice at the end of a telephone suggested I go to it and I was able to pay there directly.

The room was basic but ok. It had a large desk and office chair and had sufficient space.
It was very humid in the room and the window only opened a little. The bed was not very comfortable.

Lovely views.
Lovely croissants & pain au chocolate
The v xx orange juice was not very nice … didn’t taste like orange juice .. more like squash and scrambled eggs were tasteless & watery.

I was not informed when booking that it was the graduation period, the hotel was very noisy, no bar, no restaurant and the queue for breakfast was huge because of this. You should be informed of this at the time of booking.

Location for my daughter’s graduation - amazing views
very basic accommodation, very hot room and bed too soft

Ideal location. Comfortable bed. All the basic facilities I needed, Clean room. Plenty of sockets. Quiet - no hassles from the gulls. Staff were warm and friendly - all of them. Nice terrace overlooking the valley.
The wifi - requires confirmation before you can access it - but you have to use a weak mobile ( 1 bar 3G on O2) signal to do it! Takes some patience!
The loo roll holder needs some ingenuity to get a fresh roll to drop down.
I would have preferred a room with a view at the front side over the valley - but are they not considered quiet - because of the gulls?
I would have liked more fresh air! Window is locked "for your own safety" I was at ground floor level!

The staff were brilliant and so helpful. A real credit to the University and nothing was too much trouble.
Parking and room were great and the breakfast was top quality. I travel a lot and other hotel chains could learn a lot. Many thanks.
Exceeded our expectations so all good.

Clean and comfortable with an en suite. Simple accommodation with free parking and an easy walk into town and theatre. What more do you need. Absolutely fine for a night or two. No telly!
Tea and coffee making facilities.
Nothing to dislike. It is what it is. Student accommodation. You wouldn't expect the Ritz

Good to have a small fridge and a kettle in the room.

Staff were pleasant
Very noisy.. A coach load of students from Brighton college playing ball and shouting loudly outside our window very early in the mornings!! Not great.

It is a fantastic location, quite affordable. We were 8 people to rented 4 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms are quite comfortable, considering this is a university accommodation so one should not expect a 5 star hotel room style or services.
The view is stunning a definitely value for money.
When you search the property with children they do not appear as in their policy on booking.com children are not allowed. Though when I checked with them on phone they confirmed that children are allowed. We had 4 children with us so we all enjoyed the facility vary much.
If they plan to continue allow children to stay in their facility then they should also update their policy on booking sites.

Not too expensive compared to other accommodation in the area.
There was chewing-gum in the shower head which was very unpleasant. Was unable to cancel on of the rooms without cancelling the whole booking.

Nice staff and reasonable staff at check in and Glass cafe. The staff serve hot food at Glass staff just serve the way normally and expected.
I think One of your Chinese staff in Glass Cafe should not said to me: No need to scan the NHS check in app. We have got the information. I think it is our responsibility to fight against Covid.
Also she should not offer to said give you privilege to have my breakfast while I am queueing to have hot food. As a staff of cafe in University, she should mind to learn students need to learn equity, there were children in queue.
Need to get your toilet fixed before guest check in, it can flush, but not function every time.

I like the scenery of the area. Looks amazing.

Great value for money . University grounds so access to facilities, I used outdoor pool and had supper at the uni bar. Staff everywhere very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe .Huge bonus was the free parking as usually comes with a cost in Exeter! 15 min walk to town , if you don’t like hills you may want to use the car !
There were some very noisy drunks shouting / singing outside at 330am but on-site security sorted them

Property was spacious and clean, walking distance to town centre, great location. Staff really friendly

Great location, peaceful with beautiful scenery and very secure parking plus excellent and friendly staff.
No tv in the room, would of been nice but it wasn’t a problem as you have all of the beautiful sites of Exeter to have a look at.
