Emplacement proche de la route 1

Chambre minuscule pour 3 personnes pour un prix excessif. Le pire rapport qualité/prix du séjour. Des serviettes mouillées à notre arrivée et de la condensation dans la chambre en raison d’un manque de ventilation.

Location, nice kitchen.

Booked a double and a twin. Had bunk beds. Damp bedding and damp towels. 3 bathrooms for 8 rooms so had to wait for bathroom in the morning.

Las chicas del restaurante donde cogí la llave super amables, hablaban inglés genial. La cocina estaba muy bien amueblada, tenía prácticamente de todo. El sitio es muy tranquilo y tiene tres baños.

Relación calidad precio. La habitación por decir algo es un habitáculo de 2.5 por 2.5 en la que malamente cabía dos literas ruinosas que no hacía más que hacer ruido al moverte con colchones de muelles salidos. La habitación sabe a la carretera con lo cual no permitía la mínima intimidad además de ruido al pasar los coches. Solicito que se retire de la plataforma por engaño ya quer el precio pagado po r el servicio realmente es un estafa.

Séjour d’une nuit, situé proche des cascades (Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss). Loin des commodités...

L’intérieur de la guesthouse est propre et bien aménagé. Les parties communes sont agréables, la cuisine bien équipée, c’est un + (à condition d’avoir fait des courses au préalable, car le logement est assez loin des commodités). Douche spacieuse, les petites serviettes individuelles mises à disposition sont super pour un logement collectif. Belle vue. Chauffage au sol.

Pas de savon/shampoing dans les douches. Lit superposé qui grince.

Jugendherberge mit einer höherwertigen Ausstattung

Großer gemeinschaftlicher Bereich, 3 Toiletten/Duschen, Spülmaschine, genug Parkplätze für alle Gäste.

Wie bei allen gemeinschaftlichen Unterkünften hängt die Atmosphäre sehr davon ab, wer die Nachbar sind. Matratze war für meinen Rücken zu weich.

Satisfactory accommodations in a beautiful setting, with a great restaurant.

The room was adequate, but the view of the mountains out the window was spectacular. We enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen/common area, and the restaurant across the way was excellent.

Schöne Zimmer, gebuchte kleine Zimmer sind wirklich klein! Küche und Wohnzimmer top. Liegt nah an der N1, rechtzeitig Einkaufen, da der nächste Ort ca.20 km weg ist.

Clean, gorgeous location nestled right in the mountains, nice shared kitchen and hangout space. Staff was friendly.

I’m not sure how this place has so many good ratings. We were unaware going in that the bathrooms were shared so that was an unpleasant surprise, and our rooms were TINY, not at all like the ones pictured. It really should be listed as a hostel, because that’s basically what it is - not ideal for our family with kids at all. We barely had enough room to fit our suitcases and ourselves. In addition, we rented two rooms and one of the rooms (the one next to the bathroom) had significant issues. In the middle of the night someone flooded the bathroom from shower use (the shower is one of those open/wet room types but isn’t designed properly and floods the whole bathroom) - the water came flowing through the wall and into our room, soaking some of our stuff that was on the floor. My husband had to get up in the middle of the night to sop it up with his towel before it flooded the room further and as such missed almost an entire night of sleep. I’m pretty sure the wall must have mold in it at this point because water had clearly flooded through other times as well (we could tell when we examined the wall the next morning). It’s also not very nice using that bathroom after someone has flooded it and the area around the toilet is all wet. The beds (bunk beds) in our rooms also creaked something fierce all night every time someone rolled over, making it hard to sleep.

the location is just breathtaking, you really feel hugged by these stunning mountains, the staff from the restaurant is nice and friendly, definitely recommend it if you’re planning to stay in the south coast.

An unexpected delight. Don’t judge the book by its cover!

Really gorgeous location nestled in a beautiful plain at the base of the mountains. The outside looks very modest, but the inside is beautifully renovated and extremely well appointed. Loved the kitchen facilities! Also loved the little restaurant across the street- very vintage feel and the food was excellent!

‏The best guesthouse ever !! I felled into a frozen stream and lost my car key, I arrived at the hostel without my car and was frozen, they welcomed me with open arms straight to the shower to warm up and dry off, the owner of the place made sure we got a spare car key from Reykjavík so that the next morning we continued to travel with our car and warm in our hearts, the restaurant was very tasty and the place was very friendly Homey and good. Thank you Hrund for everything ❤️

Another impersonal guesthouse.

Close to see the most important sightseeing in the region. Room pretty big and big living room and kitchen.

Only two bathrooms for 7 rooms is definitely not sufficient. From one shower water was climbing all the time. In addition no pre-information received and no sign on the door that you must cross over to the restaurant for the keys. The kitchen was fine but with no sufficient cups etc for so many people. We were in winter I can't imagine in summer how it should be!
