Mislikte ingenting, men savnet vanlig svart kaffe på rommet.

Beautiful traditional farm in a superb environment.
Very pretty room and bathroom.
Kitchen and dining room available to prepare meals.
Flexibility of the staff at our arrival
Excellent traditional diner.
Possibility to rent Canoes on a nearby lake.
Need to mind your head as the ceiling is sometimes low (for those renting the family room).

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we extended it!
Our room was nice and cozy with a great view onto the river in the backyard of the hotel. In the morning the sun rises over the mountains. The room, although rustique, is fit with modern amenities and friendly decorations.
The awe inspiring surroundings of this place invite you for a hike on the trail beside the river during which you encounter multiple lakes and waterfalls.
We were also impressed by the culinary skills of the owner! Breakfast and especially the optionally bookable dinner are handmade and very delicious. As we took the optional dinner our needs as vegetarians were accommodated for extraordinarily, again with great skill as the owner took the time to modify our two portions into a vegetarian version which we enjoyed very much. This is among the best vegetarian food we had in Norway!

The location close to nice walks around the waterfalls
The view
The authenticity of the place
It’s ok but where we were, we needed to share the kitchen and the bathroom was outside the bedroom

Flatheim is a truly charming place to stay surrounded by beautiful untouched nature. The staff and service were incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's a very well-kept place with lovely details everywhere and we were able to unwind and relax there.
We really enjoyed the breakfast with self-made bread and the Café with delicious cakes.

Historical integrity, lovely furnishings and view, pleasurable meals, as well as warm, friendly staff who were responsive practically to our needs.
Nothing.

This place is truly a hidden gem. There is not much around here, just beautiful nature and a very authentic experience of staying in a nice Norwegian cabin. We stayed for one night only, as we were on our way from Lærdal to Stryn, but even in that short amount of time, we enjoyed and appreciated owner's hospitality and authentic experience of staying in this place.
The place is clean, comfortable and well maintained. A lot of wood makes it feel warm and cozy. Breakfast is nice with some homemade products.
Parking was free, without any hassle.
Nothing to complain about.

A rural, unusual place, amazingly decorated in an old and artistic style down to the last detail, special dishes, sitting in lovely nature next to a river, sleeping with the sound of the river (doesn't disturb - on the contrary). The breakfast is good, with homemade products, and there is also a nice cafeteria. The owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. The house sits on a scenic road, with beautiful walking trails. It is worth going through there on the road north/south from Bergen, even at the cost of a slight deviation from the main road

It was a lovely place for us to take a pause on our road trip round Norway. The studio flat was in the old house, so we enjoyed its historic atmostsphere. The sheep could be viewed from our window which added interest. It was beautifully quiet at night. The bread was made freshly for breakfast and I particularly enjoyed the homemade gooseberry jam. The farm also has a cafe where we had homemade soup for lunch one day which was also very good. Our host and the staff were good to talk to and very helpful.
The kitchen cupboard in the studio was bursting with china and glass which actually made it quite difficult to use! A small niggle, but it would be better if it were cleared and only what is necessary for a holiday style of cooking for two was there!

Great location on the scenic route between Sande and Dragsvik, perfect for a stopover after a long drive. The dinner and breakfast were excellent (local, homemade). Great location to hike around the beautiful Likholefossen waterfall and river. Just 15 min away from Gaularfjellet Utsikten (Viewpoint). Good shower. Comfy bed, with plenty of pillow options. Very clean. 3 cats. Great host.
For the warm summer days, a fan in the room could be welcome. Maybe the kitchen in the studio also need blackout curtains (it didn't bother me).
Despite all my efforts, one of the cats (the grey one) remained very distant. 😁

A fantastic cozy place in an astonishingly beautiful region of Norway. Settled along the Norwegian Scenic Route Gaularfjellet the hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere in an authentic setting.
Great rooms, great beds, delicious food served by charming hosts. And sheep, chickens, cats and nature of course

what meticulously decorated rooms, an elegant breakfast on an elegant platter, loving sheep, accommodating host, a dreamy place, thank you for everything Sigurd, we will come again

This is a farm accommodation, very well decorated with a lovely view to the countryside and the river
Food was homemade and very good . Close to the hike trail.
Perfect for those who like a different experience.
The room had a refrigerator but it was empty

The location!! My Word, The Location!! With a drinking quality river gushing its way around the backyard, lush green mountains all around and with nothing much else around to interfere with pure and perfect nature, you wonder how much more beautiful heaven might be!!
The host is a quiet and efficient man with a very fine and subtle sense of humour!! The fact he is an outstandingly good cook comes as a very welcome surprise!!
Some portions of the buildings are genuinely historic, but it is the beauty and closeness to nature that supersedes everything else!! Very comfortable beds, and the symphony played by the river!!
Almost magical!!
The internet connection wasn't very good in the cabin where we had stayed for the night!! And the stairs were a shade steep! Both very minor complaints, and where the latter might not apply to those staying at ground-level, most people may actually want to have a good Wifi connection anyway!!

The location is fantastic, right on the scenic route Gaularfjellet, in the middle of the mountains. A few mins walking you can find a lovely waterfall-Likholefossen on the Waterfall path and can start hiking to many others on this path.
We were the only guests and got upgraded to a bigger room.
The accomodation has a very authentic farm, tradition decor, yet extremly confortable with all facilities needed. 5 welcoming cats and many very funny sheep make the scenery lively :)
A lot of lovely spots in the garden where you can read, enjoy a tea etc.
We had very foggy weather and couldn t explore as much as we wanted to :(, but we were prepared for this in Norway. Probably best to book at least 2 nights to to make sure you catch good hiking weather.
You need to take you shoes off, even in the dining room.

The house is located next to a river which was amazing
- we did not have keys to lock the studio
- the light in the kitchen area was really dim

An authentic experience in a beautiful location, we have lovely memories of our stay here.

Everything! It was the best accommodation in our whole Norwegian trip. The hotel is a part of an eco tourism. Everything is so well thought of: from the decoration in our apartment to the breakfast room, to the garden and all the facilities. Such a lovely and charming place. Very comfortable and spacious apartment. Very comfortable beds.
They have berries growing in the garden that our son was happy to collect. They have chickens and cats :)
They provide organic hand cream, shampoos, and other hygiene products.
The decoration in their dining room is as if it is ready to shoot historical movies there. I could not stop admiring the details :)
They have a waterfall nearby and an easy hiking trail in the woods.
nothing

Nothing is bad with Flatheim.

Very heritage wood cabin in the heart of Norway.
Good breakfast and possibility to use kitchen.
Clean and cozy environment.
Comfortable beds.
Restroom and shared kitchen are located outside the room (not well specified in the description, i realized once ask to the owner)

The farm is awesome, they have 3 different houses - they are all great! The host was very kind and cooperative, helped us with everything even like firing a small barbecue next to the house which was generally not ok, but since we were with small kids and it was raining we couldn't go to the designated bbq area. The deserts are INCREDIBLE and cheap for Norway - try the brownie and the carrot cake!
Nothing! Just be prepared that if you are in the classic house, the WC (absolutely new and warm) is located outside, which some may find inconvenient, but was ok even for us with small kids!

The wonderfully friendly and accommodating hosts, the beautiful location this farm stay is at - you can head to the back and walk by the river and enjoy the fjords! The apartment was very quaint and well decorated with full modern facilities. It is located near fossetien trial, and a 2 min drive to likholefossen. You can even pay extra for a 3 course traditional Norwegian dinner cooked by the hosts.
The pillows looked really amazing and fluffy but it could have been firmer for a better night's sleep.
