We enjoyed our one night stay on the beach site.

Our accomodation is shifted from aquarium to the beach hotels. Rooms were good with standard sizes and amenities. Hotel staff provided seperate towels for beach, that's a very good part. Fulfill my expectations. The hotel is almost located on beach. One suggestion: It would be great if the entry point will be free of smell of fishes. The frizer can be placed somewhere else for a comfortable entry.

great value for money stay at the turtle sanctuary

The cost, location and zoo/turtle swim (no tourists as we were there before it was open to the public... incredible! As a bonus, didn't think we had breakfast included but it was provided by staff. Lucky bonus. Met a staff member that went out of his way to make sure we got water etc when we arrived late and organised a tour around the neighborhood, obviously passionate about the role nungwe plays with the turtles and proud of his town.

Bathroom is a wet room with mop to clean up after you, ok for me but my companion is used to more European bathrooms/showers. There was a small gap in the door and mosquitos got in. Also air con didn't work till a particular time, not sure if it was on a timer.

1 night stay

Going to see the turtles before and after visitors turn up. It gers busy then. Breakfast was delivered to your terrace and was really good. Turtles are amazingly friendly and love people/food 😄 Once in a lifetime opportunity The lake is connected somehow to the sea and is fresh. One of them bit me on the back, small price to pay and it doesn't hurt was a playful bite like from a kitten.

We turned up after dark and it didn't feel safe to look for a restaurant in the immediate area. However 1 of the security guards working there escorted us to a restaurant on the beach and returned to collect us after our meal

Staff very friendly and helpful...the bungalow are clean and big for me it was quiet and i could have a rest After 7days safari....i booked for 1night but i stayed one night more...thank you all the Staff merci beaucoup...i swam with turtles at 7 in thé morning no one before tourists...the beach is very close 2minutes but walking distance

Nothing good about the place but the turtles, honestly. Spend a few days there then move elsewhere.

The turtle pool was great, the inhabitants were friendly and super chill.

Turtle pond gets massively swarmed by tourists almost immediately after 9:00. Staff deliberately turns off your aircon when they think you are not in the room because "electricity is expensive," same with WiFi. Little to no water pressure in the shower. The hotel is a solid walking distance on a completely wrecked road from the main resort area - plan your daily movement accordingly.

Fair, not so bad and not so good either

The breakfast served plus the ability to swim with the turtles!

Beds not comfy, no hot water, rooms always filled with bugs and ants. No bonus facilities ie. Drinking water

We booked this barak aquarium bungalows just because turtles, but when we arrived there was some issues and we were transfered to baraka beach bungalows and we came there one day just to see turtles. Anyway, expierence in baraka beach bungalows was great, personell was friendly, food in restaurant was really great. Price/comfort ratio is really good in this place. Don't expext any luxury but you will have everything you might need

100% loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Baraka Bungalows. Of course, the possibility of swimming with the turtles during the less crowded hours was an incredible plus (it is certanily an unforgettable experience!). In terms of accomodation, I must say that the room exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind that we are speaking of a low budget accomodation, so do not set your expectations too high - not in a bad way! It is not a luxury resort and this is not what you should be expecting. But, low budget or not, the room was big and VERY CLEAN, the bathroom was also large and with a new shower with hot water. Breakfast is tasty and healty, served on the porch. I absolutely loved everything about our stay, and the staff made our experience even better - they are friendly, available for any request, and overall just super nice people to have around. The beach is just a few minutes walking, and it is stunning to talk a walk at sunset. Strongly recommended!
