Piscina. Staff atencioso. Quarto confortável.
Às vezes, o banheiro fica com cheiro ruim.

La vue et le personnel sont excellent
Le restaurant pourrait être plus qualitatif. C’est assez chère pour la qualité reçu

Every member of staff is super friendly and nice, they really care. I had one small issue which was resolved and they went above and beyond. I felt like the staff really cared about me and wanted to get to know me. The property overlooks the ocean, and the on-site restaurants are decent and mean you don’t have to venture out, but there are plenty of local places within a short walk.
Only negative about my stay was Zanzibar has a lot of locals on the beaches selling tours and things, which is useful for the times when you want something but can be a bit irritating if you just want to be left alone, but a polite smile and “all is ok, thank you”, keeps them at bay. It is island-wide, it’s everywhere so nothing unique to this property, so just part of visiting, and I do understand how much they need the trade so I am fine with it, and no one was overly pushy.

Central location on the beach. Rooms are nicer decorated. Staff is very amiable and friendly.
The breakfast buffet was great but was a little disappointed by the food in Sexy Fish.

The gym is very good, with a lot of machines.
Very nice staff.

This hotel is just out of this world - excellent. There was not a single thing I did not like. The room was exceptionally nice, comfortable, decent size, with 2 times a day cleaning service. I loved the pool, accessibility to the beach (max 100m), the wide variety of food in the restaurant, the drinks, the service, the views from the room and from the restaurant/s, the hotels vibes, the garden around and lovely staff & hospitality. I was looking for a nice & safe place to stay while travelling solo, and this place just simply exceeded all my expectations. Surely will come back!
There was nothing I did not like. Maybe just a recommendation for the future, if an all inclusive package can be included into the offers would be nice - not sure if the hotel is already providing, I wasn't able to find that option on bookings.

Great place to stay when on Zanzibar !!
Super staff, everybody is so friendly.
The best beach we have seen on the island.
Great food, breakfast. Easy dining on the Rooftop bar is great. Good prices.
The ROAD to the hotel is a disaster.... The main roads on the island are rather ok, but after leaving the main road and when you have to go the last mile to the hotel, this is really NOT GOOD FOR YOUR NECK.... People with bad backs and/or neck hernia should NOT GO HERE !!!
Also, but that's is how Africa is and works, the guys on the beach trying to sell you things or trips, are really TOO AGGRESSIVE. They won't leave you alone. I understand that this is their living, and we are "the rich tourists", but really guys, this is not how it works....
Finally: the water in the swimming pool is too warm !! It should be cooler, now it feels like a warm bath at home.

I knew the hotel and service would be fantastic when I received a fast reply to the enquiry email I sent to ask a few questions about availability. The team is responsive, welcoming, professional and the property itself is stunningly beautiful, located on a pristine white sand, crystal clear meets azure-blue beach. Security guards discretely keep beach sellers away so you can enjoy conversations with friends or moments to yourself without interruption. Lounger service is timely, friendly and the food is impeccable. It’s on a fantastic stretch of beach perfect for walking north or south and exercising the legs (wear suncream!). The pool is sublime and built for the perfect view of sunset. As is the roof deck, bars and restaurants. I loved the morning and evening yoga. Taught by a local instructor which made it a truly special class. If there were more nights available I would have booked for longer I’ll definitely return. Recommend the Nakupenda Island and the sand bank tour for lunch and to learn more about the islands, and Stown Town.
Everything was great

Amazing clean beach, people, facilities, massage…drinks and food are served by the pool. I am not a pool person but this pool was sooo great. Cleaning ladies work - spotless, never saw such a friendly and happy personal. Locals are on the beach are friendly - it is just part of Zanzibar experience:) I actually liked the mix of locals - more authentic than typical all inclusives
Wifi is impossible to use for anything

We stayed in the King suite and the room was very spacious with a large balcony and private sun deck area. The bathroom was also huge with windows. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a lunch on one of the days at Cinnamon. Direct access to the beach.
We were disappointed that there was no bidet or water hose in the room. We mentioned this at check out and they said that we should’ve said something as they could’ve installed it. Honestly we believe that it was their responsibility to inform us that this option is available at check in. Also, we found the rate to be too high.

the location, pool, restaurants and roof top. the design of the hotel and the rooms

Everything was great from the location to staff to the facilities.
The only two things I didn't like much. 1) The bed in our room was supposed to be a queen, but it seemed more like a full bed and not a queen size bed.
2) The bathroom doesn't have a ventilation system, so it tends to get damp after one showers

Very friendly and helpful staff - reception, security, beach area staff, housekeeping and restaurant staff.
Great private beach area with comfortable sunbeds and no interference from the guys selling tours thanks to the security guard keeping a close watch on things.
Really tasty food with good price/value.
Rooftop bar was the perfect place to watch the sunset each evening.
Nothing.

Great location. Lovely pool with ocean view.
We booked a sea view room. What we got was a restaurant view room with a corner peek behind trees to the ocean. Our room being adjacent to the restaurant meant that the loud music played was what we heard every single night instead of ocean waves or even just the breeze. Staff was polite, but service was under par for the cost of this hotel. Waiting a long time for anything to be delivered whether it be at the pool,
the restaurant, or the rooftop bar. Our room, while cutely decorated, had an awful odor that came from the bathroom. Very few amenities provided in the room. I would definitely recommend visiting this hotel to enjoy their seafood restaurant or rooftop bar; but I would not recommend it for a hotel stay. On a 6 week trip traveling the Middle East and Africa I was most excited to stay at this hotel, considering it a “splurge.” But the price not match the service or quality I encountered; and I’m honestly still bitter about the fact that I paid for a sea view room and my room was facing the restaurant.

Staff was wonderful.
Beds were horrible.

Location was beautiful. Beautiful beach, lovely staff, amazing food. The Z is really a hidden gem. The restaurants were amazing!
Besides the horrible drive to get to the hotel( no actual roads/very bumpy), The downside was the beds are hard as a rock. To the point where I woke up in the middle of the night in pain. They need new mattresses or pads. also, there aren’t any storage or shelves in the shower. So no where to put toiletries, loofahs, wash cloths etc…

The landscape, the staff and the restaurants
Everything was ok. But maybe the private beach area is to short, and the boats sometimes where blocking the swimming zone when you’re in the water, specially in low tide.
4.0
Right at the beach, with great view from the the room, the main restaurant, the pool area and even the (well equipped) gym.
Staff were helpful and the place was clean and pleasant.
Restaurants in the hotel are far costlier and not any better than more "local" options in the nearby town.
