Do not recommend at all - but it is in a central location

The property is in a central location

Only stairs available - the lift is there but hidden behind a plant and you cannot use it. There was no duvet or sheet for my bed - they forgot to add one - so I had to sleep without one and it was cold. There is no luggage storage at all - but they explain that they are not a hotel so you should not expect it. Reception shuts at 8.30pm and no staff would be back in the building until 1.30pm the next day. - but they explain that they are not a hotel so you should not expect support. They kept sending me messages saying that they are not a hotel prior to my arrival so we shouldn’t have the same expectations. I wish I had found somewhere else to stay.

Great for access to Cataronua with on street parking.

The original property booked was with the terrace however we were moved to room 1 after issues regarding cleanliness, washing machine was grubby and mouldy. The door that was reviewed as broken was still broken. The terrace was littered with cigarette butts. Upon speaking to staff we were quickly moved and staff were great. The apartment downstairs, although a lower cost was much better and suited our stay and occupancy. (Couple)

Original property was problematic with tired items and issues requiring repair.

Great location, clean but the bed was poor quality with traditional coiled mattress

The host was helpful and friendly. The checked in was easy and smooth. The apartment was clean. Great location.

The bed mattress was poor quality, not supportive and not constructed using individual pocket springs but traditional coiled spring mattress that means when one sleeper turns that will wake up the other one. That caused unrested sleep. One of the TV remote controller didn't work because the batteries were flat. The sound proof was bad. You could hear the next door and the people talking in the corridor.

Bene di giorno, molto meno bene di notte

La posizione è in se stessa ottima, vicinissima a via Etnea, piazza Stesicoro e molte mete del centro storico. L’appartamento, un bilocale, era ben distribuito, comprendeva anche un secondo piccolo bagno. Gentile e sollecito il referente alla reception, e anche il gestore.

Purtroppo, il bar ristorante del vicolo di fronte è una (incivile) sorgente di inquinamento acustico, fino a ben oltre le 23.30. Perlomeno lo è stato sicuramente durante i primi due giorni del nostro tour catanese. Se siete assuefatti alla discoteca, forse non vi turberà molto, ma noi abbiamo dovuto cercare un’altra sistemazione, presso una diversa struttura, per garantirci un riposo notturno più normale e tranquillo. Un supplemento di spesa, ma almeno ci siamo garantiti un po’ di vacanza. Il gestore è costernato, certo non è colpa sua, ma auguriamo a lui (e ai turisti diretti allo Stesicoro Exclusive) che sia possibile trovare una soluzione soddisfacente al problema.

Excellent receptionist who spoke perfect english. Edwardo booked us a taxi to the airport and provided other local information about restaurants and places to visit. Highly recommended modern apartment with efficient air conditioning. Central to most of Catania attractions and city centre. Only 10 minutes to airport.

Overall experience was good.

The location was perfect, it was in the city center, very close to markets, restaurants and also to the bus station. We booked the appartment with terrace and it was perfect staying at night on the terrace.

It is pretty noisy, the street with restaurants/bars is very close to the accomodation and they are partying untill 2:00 in the morning. Soap dispenser in one of the bathrooms was broken and put in the shower, I texted the host about this, but he/she didn't give me an answer. It is not very clean in the apartment, this could be improved.

Good location in the city centre, very nice and friendly staff, clean apartement with nice view and an A/C.

you can hear the neighbours above you, quite loud A/C, which needs to be turned on as a heater during the night (visited in february)

Good location in the city center. Nice host, comfortable beds, apartmet is well equiped. Fairly quiet considering city center location (we had a room with windows not facing street).

Excellent!

Everything. The location couldn’t be any better. Top center - so close to everything. The staff was extremley helpful and nice. It was very clean and everything was exactly like the pictures.

The outside isolation from noice was great but the inside one could have been better.

Superb

The apartment was located near the center. The bus stop and metro were located 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The terrace met expectations, the view was to the street, pleasant sitting on deck chairs. The owner was very pleasant, spoke fluent English. He was very helpful with storing our luggage on the day of departure.

Nice central place

Really nice interaction with the hosts and the apartment was as described. Pretty central place and easy access to most of the city. Wish we had more than one night to stay in Catania.

The street is not the greatest looking and parking isn't really easy in the area, but it's kind of the same everywhere.

Excellent place in Catania

Excellent location, with tons of great restaurants, bars, shops (Via de Etnea). Receptionist / management can always be reached, even when the reception is closed. The staff is very helpful. We stayed at the top-floor, with a very nice, private roof-terrace. From here, everything can be reached by walking. The staff arranged the airport transportation: flawless. After checkout, you can store your luggage (if required) in a nearby located locker for a few euros.

Disappointing management response

Edoardo was lovely and really helpful with beach lido entrance and directions. location was great if you want to be in the centre of everything. Accommodation was easy to access and to a decent standard.

The flush broke on the toilet in our bathroom, meaning we couldn't use the bathroom for an afternoon/evening .After raising this to the property we were told we had used the flush incorrectly and broken it? Which is quite frankly laughable. Such a shame to receive a bad response and end the stay on a sour note.

I’m in love with the apartment, is very cozy and comfortable, I really enjoy staying here. Edoardo is very kind and helpful. if I come back to Catania definitely I’ll come back to this hotel
