Fantastic kitchen, warm, comfortable beds

A smartly presented, detached cottage in a very quiet rural location, it had its own hot tub on the deck and a really good feel to it.
Really, there was nothing to doslike

Everything! The property was beautiful. The house was spacious and comfortable and impeccably decorated. The hot tub was also a much loved feature. The surroundings were incredible - peaceful, scenic. The host greeted us shortly after arrival and was very friendly, inviting us to also pick some vegetables from his greenhouse. The experience of our stay here was certainly one of my highlights of our entire Iceland trip.
Not much to be improved upon. Maybe an extra set of towels - one set for the hot tub, one set for showering. Groceries were about a 20 minute drive away, but we easily worked that in our return from our day trips. Really, we have no complaints!

Spacious and beautiful little house located close to Borgarnes. Has its own hot tub and the owners allow you to visit and sample tomatoes from their geothermal heated greenhouse. Lovely place for some R&R.

Spacious, well-appointed, beautiful location and so comfortable. Nice touch with screens on some windows, really helped at night. Felt like a home away from home.
We honestly liked it all.

Came in late night, unit felt immediately inviting. Beds were comfortable, fell asleep immediately. Wish we could have stayed longer, hot tub facilities looked awesome!! Als I apparently free vegetables to pick from the greenhouse.
2 bedroom villa was very spacious and clean. All appliances worked well, and seemed new.

Easily our best stay in Iceland. Host very friendly and responsive as we were arriving late - still came to greet us on arrival. Hot tub was ready for us on arrival - only thing missing was the Northern Lights! The place is fantastic value for money and I'm not surprised guests have been staying for around 20 years according to the guest book. Good shower. Lovely living room with big TV. Well-equipped kitchen with breakfast table. Heaters for drying clothes. Comfy bed. Friendly local dog came to greet us before check out! A hidden gem for sure and a certain rebook when we return to Iceland!
Only thing I was missing was some oil for cooking.

We had the most incredible two nights at Jadar Farm. We were greeted by the sweetest dog, Breki outside catching snowflakes when we arrived.
The owner showed us around the property and was extremely kind and welcoming. It was our honeymoon trip and they had a couple of glasses of champagne for us. Thank you for the very sweet detail! We felt right at home at this beautiful property. We gathered delicious tomatoes from the geothermal greenhouse, relaxed and enjoyed dinner a quiet night in the hot tub. The next day we drove to Snaefellsnes Peninsula which was a very short drive away. Borgarnes also a few minutes close by. We were also able to purchase wool directly from the farmers at a great price. Don’t think twice-book this property. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you for an incredible stay.

Access to the greenhouse to pick our own tomatoes and peppers for dinner along with the most fragrant basil I have ever encountered and the host provided some pasta kindly as we didn't have quite enough! Beautiful collie who greeted us and hot pot facing the northern lights which we briefly saw!

lovey remote location with fantastic facilities, saw northern lights from the hot tub. Owner gave a nice welcome when we arrived and has a wonderful dog. would recommend as a nice base when exploring Snaefellsnes peninsula!
nothing, really enjoyed the stay!

Charming abode providing a unique feel. Had everything we needed. The greenhouse was a treat that I was not expecting and my kids loved it and the company. We were able to tour the farm and that was delightful...fresh tomatoes were so good and full of flavor. Weather was exceptional which made the stay even more pleasant. Would definitely stay again.
What wasn't to like. Everything was wonderful.

Beautiful and comfortable home in a peaceful location. Close to many things worth seeing, the surrounding area is stunning. Stayed with my husband and son, and it was absolutely perfect for the 3 of us. If we ever go back to visit the area we would definitely stay again.

This was the nicest place we stayed during our trip. The place is wonderful and the host is so friendly. Would love to come back for a longer stay the next time I travel to Iceland.

Very nice and well kept house. Great facilities, great beds.
It was very cold and windy outside. Unfortunately, the heating didn't work very well, so it was rather cold inside too.
