Comfortable room; spacious ensuite; fantastic breakfast selection including beautiful fresh fruit salad and good quality local produce cooked fresh to order.
More sockets needed.

We left early to travel to Glastonbury so we didn’t get breakfast.
Maybe some ‘help yourself’ breakfast items 🤷🏼♀️

Warm welcome from the start, the room was beautifully presented with great additional amenities such as a fan and a good hair dryer. We stayed in the blue room which had a beautiful view over the church. Both Nicky and Jim were fantastic and welcomed us both warmly. The breakfast menu has both full English and a wide selection of cereals and fruit salad. We will definitely be coming back to explore the local area.
Honestly, nothing at all.

House was beautiful and the hosts were friendly and chatted about the history of the house. Breakfast was lovely with homemade jams and local produce
Nothing.

We chose to stay at the School House primarily due to it's location. We were visiting family and friends in the village. The proprietors Nikki and Tom were very warm and welcoming. Our room (Gold) was very clean and comfortable. We had a very relaxed stay and slept like a log every night. Nice view out of the window overlooking the local church yard. Lovely breakfast made of locally sourced ingredients including eggs from their very own chucks. The School House has been transformed into a very unique B&B. Some lovely touches which have kept the character of the building with original pictures and photos reflecting its past life as the village school. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be booking again.
Nothing. Everything was to our satisfaction.

School House is in an excellent position on our cycle route. Bike storage was very easy and secure. The room and sitting room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Bed comfortable and room quiet. Breakfast was well organised and very tasty. It was a bit of a pain having to get a taxi into town for a meal (both local pubs seem to be closed) but if you book your taxi in advance it is not a problem.

Room was excellent, as was the breakfast.

This place is practically perfect in every way. I have never ever stayed anywhere so spotlessly clean and well looked after. The landlady / owner was lovely.

Very comfy room / good ensuite and warm welcome from Nicky.
Lovely breakfast.
Not far from different pubs for evening meal.
We walked to the Knowle inn which is around 30mins on very quiet lane.
Off street parking.
Would happily go to again if exploring the area or passing through

Our room (facing the church) was large, comfortable and attractively decorated. The bed was very good. The en-suite bathroom was well appointed with excellent electric shower over a large bath. Breakfast in impressive former classroom. Quiet location off the main road through the village. Parking was fine. Helpful and friendly owners.
Steps up from the road to the front door - better than a steep path and not a great problem but perhaps a handrail would be beneficial.

I really enjoyed my stay here as the room was spacious and spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble for Nicki and Jim and the breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room itself was lovely, large and light being the old school room. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean.

Delicious breakfast.

I highly recommend the School House. The owners are very nice and gave us some great sightseeing tips. Our room was great. Spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and great quality bed linen. A nice bathroom and a very good shower. We had a lovely view to the church opposite, and it was so nice to wake up to birdsong. A great homemade breakfast in the beautiful school room next to a toasty wood burning stove, and a pretty garden. Thank you, Nicky and Jim.
Everything was good.

Beautiful house. Exceptionally maintained. Provision of car parking was ideal. Little tight getting to the parking, but this was explained on the details of the B&B. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Lovely bread and home made jam.
The bed had seen better days and was very uncomfortable. We both struggled to sleep. Although a kettle along with tea and coffee was provided, there was no milk. It was also difficult to use the hairdryer as there wasn't a plug socket close to a mirror.

Love the School house, interesting building, liked the decor & art work. the hosts were friendly & interesting to chat with. Good atmosphere our kind of place!
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Lovely building with spacious bedroom and bathroom, all extremely clean. Decor themed with the age of the house.
The breakfast room is the old school room with photos. Very interesting hosts to chat with during breakfast. Off road parking. Great for breaking our journey.
It was all fine.

Breakfast was really good.

Great breakfast - the best eggs I've had in ages. Incredibly nice owners. Large, clean, comfortable room. Idyllic location. Thanks for the stay both, hope to return in the future.

The location a property steeped in history with a relaxed feel.

Lovely couple who own the property
No milk in the room as promised when we arrived back to the room even though someone went into the room to close the window, this meant we couldn’t have an evening drink or early morning cup of tea.
4.7
The location is very peaceful and quiet, the nearest pub was very nice and staff were friendly, the accommodation is big in size, clean, very comfortable, historical as it was a former Victorian style school, the hosts were both very engaging and lovely, the breakfast was divine, everything about our experience was fantastic. Thank you for the lovely experience.
Nothing we didn't like. Everything was fantastic.
