We loved the staff, the activities, the FOOD. I felt like I was at summer camp for adults.. with a swim up bar as a bonus! I got a lot out of their app- there are TONS of fun things to do, not to mention DIVING! We ate almost every meal at the two buffets and were always impressed. Our son ate at the snack shack daily and his burger/ nacho's etc.. looked really good too. Clean facilities, stunning views.. amazing, can't wait to come back!- Oh the spa is great, treat yourself! I heard people raving out their massages and my pedicure was really well done.
It took us a minute to realize that this is not a vacation where you lay around your luxury hotel room. The room was a bit rustic but spacious! The water in our shower sometimes didn't want to get hot but was warm and doable. The bed was on the firm side for me. Loved the hammock on the patio but bring bug spray, I did get bit up!
On that note, the gift shop is spendy.. Bug spray or sunscreen will cost you!

The property was gorgeous. The rooms were clean, modern, and well maintained and the landscaping was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and genuinely cared about our satisfaction. I appreciated every memorable moment of our stay there, and will look for the Iberostar name when visiting other destinations.

The restaurant choices were good. The staff was great! The dive operation was excellent. The included drinks was a nice surprise!
The coffee at the buffet was really bad. Much worse than the coffee in the room. The afternoon music and entertainment by the pool was a little too loud for me. The water in the pool was a little too cold.

Food was average. Jungle location & theme was terrible for Bugs & Mosquitoes. I was bitten a d eaten the entire trip. Mostly Open Air Dinning so you couldn't get away from the Bugs & Animals.
Pool Bar under construction and rhwre was No pass thru from one side to the other. You had to get out of the water to get from one pool to the next.
Only 1 towel authorized at the pool. I asked for 2 towels and was told No.
Mosquitoes were TERRIBLE. Wild animals in the garbage, around the pool and wandering into the restaurant.
Entertainment was average. They tried hard, but more variety and better shows would be great.

Beautiful grounds and surroundings, lovely pool with direct beach access, friendly and helpful staff. On site dive shop great for arranging snorkelling trips.
The food was not five star and didn’t cater very well for vegetarians

The gardens
The wait staff at the smoke house, Fidel & Andres did a great job at our last night.
The beach is ok.
Terrible over 20 minutes check-in at our late evening arrival. The waiter told us upon arrival to the buffet, that they were closing in 10 minutes even though the schedule was 40 minutes later, he checked every minute his mobile phone. The bathroom had still hair from previous guests!

Buffet, beach, bars, beds, jungle around the buildings, animals around the buildings, the food was really good (buffet not the reservations), the beach and the pool were great. The rooms were small but big enough. We loved the excursions offered through one of the agencies through the hotel.
Staff was mostly nice but there were some rude members of the staff too. It took an extra hour for them to prepare our room initially and then we had to wait an additional 1.5 hour to get our bags from the bell boy. The reservation food was not as good as the buffet, especially the Mexican food reservation. We also lost power to our room and the buildings at least 4 times.

Great activities for children. Wonderful food selection. All staff were friendly and we felt very safe. The leaders of Star Camp were wonderful with the small kids. Our dining choice by far was Cozumel Buffet Restaurant. Swim up bar was a big hit. All the exotic wildlife and tropical surroundings. Ease of transportation from and to the airport. All inclusive was wonderful.
Birds EATING from the buffet and the potential health risk at El Cedral Smoke House.
Offering trips to sites of interest near by while others were diving should be considered.

Location next to the sea, with good snorkeling options. Nice pool’s
Nice animations walking around the property
We did get a lot of bug bites during our stay.

The on-site restaurants were all very good with plenty of room.
The on-site things like paddle boards, ocean kayaks and catamarans were provided by the company that ran the scuba diving and there was a fee involved if you wanted to use something. If you wanted to go outside the hotel and visit any of the nearby locations be prepared to pay $$$ for a taxi. The $5 dollar cab rides are a thing of the past.

it was nice, the food and drinks were good and entertainment also
next to my room they were fixing the plants, or something and they started really early with the work noises.
i forgot my wallet in the room and it was charged an mercado libre package in a card i was not using on my trip at all ( i could get a cancelation from my bank, but this was not suppose to happen at all)

The property had nice villa style rooms. it was quiet and laid back but still fun things to do. The staff was excellent and attentive.

Location was great for diving, with the service on offer in that respect excellent. Decor and gardens were well kept. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The animals on site were well kept .
Where the resort fell was the food - the choice and standard of the restaurants. The asian restaurant was a mishmash of anything but nothing remotely authentic - most americans may not notice. The rooms were in need of upscaling /decorating.
The spa is not a spa but a hut with a few massage tables - the most disappointing part of the resort.
