Authentieke historische locatie met bijbehorende beperkingen

De accommodatie stamt uit de middeleeuwen en dat maakt dat het veel sfeer heeft. We hebben ‘s avonds lekker gegeten onder de donkere balken bij de enorme open haard. Vriendelijk personeel.

Minuscule badkamer. We sliepen op de bovenste verdieping en het was een warme dag waardoor het bijna niet uit te houden was op de kamer. Er stond een mobiele airco waarvan de luchtafvoer niet goed geregeld was. Verder was er voor ontbijt alleen full English te krijgen, geen yoghurt e.d. Parkeerplaats krap.

Nice pub, reasonable price I would recommend.

Staff very helpful and friendly. The pub had a rustic charm, lively and good atmosphere. Bed very comfortable and room very clean. Good shower in the morning and breakfast superb!

Vi var väldigt nöjda.

Bra service. Stort bra rum Utmärkt mat. Bra parkering utanför hotellet. Det var liveuppträdande första kvällen vi var där och det var väldigt trevligt.

Every single thing was above average well above the only thing that we could find a problem was the stairs was difficult for my wife as she has arthritis in her knees

Perfect.

Lovely old building. Very comfortable room and facilities. The staff were very welcoming and chatted with us which actually made for a very pleasant break. We had the evening meal which was excellent as was the breakfast next morning.

Friendly and comfortable pub

Very friendly welcome at 9.30pm and a very comfortable and quiet room despite the pub being busy. Breakfast was very good and the guy serving exceptionally friendly. A nice way to start the day.

TV signal kept dropping out, meant to mention it to them at the time.

This was a repeat visit, and will soon become a monthly session, such is the service delivered

The manager was on leave. The deputy manager was superb. Excellent customer service. Polite, friendly and efficient. The room was light, well ventilated and full of charm. The main function rooms were full of delighted customers.

Very good

The lady who was in charge was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for her, and she did everything with a smile.

Breakfast was very tasty, the only thing I would change would be to be given a menu. We were asked if we wanted a full English and we said ok .It was very good value and we were offered more drinks, it just would have been nice to know if there were other options. The car park is quite tricky, being small and on a steep slope, but understand there is off site parking close by.

A good break where we were very well looked well.

Breakfast was very satisfactory. Nothing too much trouble. All requests granted.

Climbing the stairs but nothing can be done about that and we were warned there was no lift.

A lovely stay at the Lanbs Inn

Great Staff in an Inn dating back to the 12th Century.

The landlord and staff were all very helpful. The inn was fantastic and the food was good.

We will be back!

Our stay at the Lamb inn was great. Despite the great reviews that I read before booking, I wasn’t convinced of how lovely it really was going to be. Staff were lovely, bedroom was spacious, comfortable and clean. Decor was sweet and for the price, I couldn’t have asked for any more. It really exceeded our expectations.
