3rd Visit will come again

It's a proper dog friendly property very close to the shore, excellent views and the village centre is within walking distance either along the shore by the new section of coastal path. Vera the owner is very helpful if you need advice or help with anything.

Property not fit for rental.

Communication generally rubbish, left with little choice but to stay in a building site. Avoid at all cost.

Exceptional

A beautiful cottage with amazing views of varied landscapes. The host was very prompt at replying to all my questions, and even set up a wee Easter Bonnett upon our arrival. Very well thought off! Thank you x

Exceptional

Great property. I did not expect any Christmas decorations but we were welcomed with beautiful Christmas tree and loads of other little decorations. Makes it feel really nice and welcoming. Really amazing place to stay if you like quiet out of town stay. Which for us was just perfect.

Lovely, homely warm and toasty cottage

Nice place to stay, will book again.

This property is 100% dog friendly, they supply throws to cover every piece of furniture unlike some other properties in Allonby who say they are but only alow your dog in the living room. All the equipment you need for your stay is supplied.

Not a negative on the property but location if you want to walk into the village, the road is too dangerous so you have to walk along the shore in nice weather and daytime not a problem and a pleasure but bad weather and at night not so good.

Excellent cosy cottage

Excellent peaceful location, with great access to the beach. The cottage was cosy and warm, with a wonderful log fire Good quality bed linen and towels. Lots of extras in the kitchen,bathroom and for the dog which we have never found in other cottages. Would highly recommend

Christmas Cottage

Comfy, clean and warm cottage. Great access and easy to locate. Wood burning stove was brilliant and the facilities are perfect.

I didn't book longer. In all honesty I can't think of anything that was bad

Nice place to stay with your dog.

Location next to the shore was excellent and the cottage was dog friendly, Vera the host very friendly and helpful.

Shower pull cord to short for short person to use so had to stand on something to switch on and off , walking to the village pub if the tide was in as the road was unsuitable for walking

Had a nice 3 night stay, lovely cottage , very well equipped

Very near the beach

About a mile from Allonby and the pub and no path to get there, you had to walk along an unlit country road to get there

A very clean, & comfortable cottage in an excellent location. The host was very friendly & helpful.

The cottage was in a lovely location, near to a beach & good for travelling to places of interest. Vera was very welcoming & the cottage was extremely clean, comfortable & well equipped. Would recommend.

Great place. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was so nice and prefect for what we wanted. We had good weather so didn’t use the log burner but could imagine how cozy that would’ve been. Vera was a lovely host and very helpful.

Sea-View Cottage

The beds were comfortable. There were games for entertainment. Location was perfect; 1 minute from the sea. The kitchen had all necessary appliances. I could go on all day about the things I like about this cottage.

Wonderful accommodation. Facilities were useful. The cottage had a warm and cosy feel just like at home. Beautiful fireplace. The host, Vera was very welcoming and aided in every request we had; we will most certainly return here!

Very good

Property very comfortable and well appointed . Vera the host and her family were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very close to an amazing beach which was empty with fantastic views across Solway Firth .

It’s a mile outside Allonby which is a very small village. Sadly each time we went to get fish and chips there was no fish in the fish and chip shop or pub so we ended up eating in most of the time we were there.

Nice rooms and bathroom and the cottage itself, helpful hosts

Problem with washing machine, making lots of noise and second room, no window.

An absolute gem

Lovely host , fabulous cottage , clean , lovely modern decoration . Wood burning stove. Beach at end of road c2 mins walk . Everything was lovely, well stocked with good quality furnishings and equipment. Allonby is about a miles walk away. Will definitely be back
