Location was good but this is because we chose this hotel specifically for it's nearness to the events we were attending-however the noise at night spoilt our stay. Breakfast was very good. Staff were good on arrival (but absent on departure).
It was extremely noisy and hard to sleep even though tired. There was a great deal of noise from the street late into the early hours. There was also some sort of intermittent noise all night -not sure what it was -sounded maybe electrical- a bit like the noise a fridge makes. I didn't sleep well at all. Trying to get the car into the loading bay at check out was impossible and there were no staff about when we checked out to advise/assist. The loading bay was full of parked cars. We got a phone call prior to our visit from someone asking if we wanted to make a booking in the restaurant-but this person had a very broad accent and it took us ages to understand what we were being asked-it was annoying. The layout of the bathroom with the toilet in such close proximity to the bathroom door wasn't very good. The shower was hard to work out as we only have a bath at home and there was no instruction. There was a sachet of hair/body wash that neither of us could tear open (it didn't really matter as we brought our own but I mention as it may matter to someone else)

Clean. Well decorated. All the little niknac necessities were there
Bed mattress tired and I kept sliding off and towards middle of room. At 4am I slept the opposite way round which was a little better.Toilet seat span around as only fixed one side. Thermostat on shower temp up and down. Fancy modern lit mirror had bright digital click with no off switch or dimmer and even some through the towel I draped over it. Decaf coffee sachets in room, no decaf tea. Kept awake by people walking about creaking floorboards above. Advert said they had car parking. They have not. Offered voucher for leisure centre car park which is almost 1/4 mile away (0 23mls). Ended up using council carpark which cost me about £7. Evening meal appalling. I left it and ate at an Italian in the town. Breakfast tasteless eggs on cheap under toasted bread, bland coffee. No Spoons set put for cereal. I had to point it out.

We had a huge and extremely clean room. The bed was really comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were available as were shower gel and shampoo.
Breakfasts were substantial and well cooked. There is no excuse for going hungry here!
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
A bonus was getting free parking throughout our stay.
Nothing really but prefer a bigger bedside table.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night but during the time there the staff were very pleasant and informative. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
There was no parking at the hotel, but there was parking nearby.

Breakfast fantastic I had the full English and then they gave me a takeaway box as well. They upgraded me from a single room to an executive room. I was travelling by bike and they stored it safely and inside. All brilliant

Breakfast good. Location good. In the main warm and friendly staff. Nicely decorated.
I was automatically upgraded to a small double from a single.
Cleanliness of room not 10/10, skirtings were dirty. There was no openable windows. I asked for 1 egg and was brought 2.

Very comfortable room with extra large bathroom, beautiful breakfast with the offer of a complimentary takeaway picnic.

The staff were really friendly and the room was clean and comfortable
If I wanted to be hypercritical, the bed wasn't terribly comfortable but I've slept in much, much worse! There's no on site or on street car parking but the nearby pay and display can be used with a parking pass if you ask at reception

Property ideally located in this very interesting market town. It has a very good restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Provision of lunch box was an unexpected bonus as was upgrade to room.
The only thing would have been on site parking but this is a physical impossibility. There are two public car parks (we went for the Bitter End one - which is only a couple of minutes walk away)

Lovely central hotel with great steakhouse attached. Very clean with friendly staff.
Parking permit provided to park car up road in gym car park which was absolutely fine.
Given a lovely complimentary breakfast box full of goodies too.
