There was a lot of breakfast options, western and asian so everyone will be happy. The staff were very nice and were patient with my broken Japanese, some do speak basic English too. Staff take your luggage directly to your room once you arrive, which was a nice added bonus you don't get at all hotels. The location is beautiful but accessibility wise just okay, the hotel is on a hill, if you want to explore the area that may be a problem. The options for onsen are extensive, including private ones, and very easy to book and the staff in the spa area are very nice.
I wasn't told in advance that the outside pool would be closed for all of my stay, even though I asked in advance, and was told it would be open for some of my stay. It was okay though because it seemed to be a pool that is more suited to children, and I used the aqua terrace which is an inside spa with various saunas, jacuzzis, and an outside swimming pool. I liked that they had a lot of options for onsen, pool etc. there was a lot of people staying at this hotel but it never felt crowded.

The hotel was stunning, the facilities were opened late and the breakfast was just incredible.
Wish the checkout and breakfast was a little later. Also if you have tattoos you will need to cover them if you go to the onsen (not a problem for me but just fyi)

The hotel provided excellent facilities, nice view and comfortable room. Two different floor onsen contribute relax onsen experience. The Japanese style breakfast was amazing. Aged staff was polite and really professional. I will visit this hotel next trip.
Dust was always found on room provided appliances, such as hair dryers, hotel provides skin care etc.

Beautiful location and facility. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Shuttle bus to and from town, bus and train stations ran frequently and was very convenient. Private spa room was gorgeous. Many amenities, including robes, pajamas, slippers, high-quality toiletries, and snacks.
We were disappointed to find upon check-in that the restaurant was fully booked for dinner for both nights of our stay and that we had to go elsewhere to eat.

Everyrhing was nice and comfortable.
Beautiful view and outstanding spa.
It would be nice if they had more information in English.

Outstanding view with quiet location.
Dinner and BF were over my expectation. Steak during dinner was superb condition, we think it deserves Michelin star. We stayed for two nights and they adjusted food for us nicely. My kids also enjoyed their food and could not eat them all.
Onsen were also great with many baths to choose from.
Room got good space that four of us feels very comfortable.
Spacious area could confuse you a bit on day1.

When we came into the hotel (around 2:25), I was surprised that there were so many people crowded around the front desk. It took 20 minutes for a staff member to show us to our room. In retrospect, this was a testimony to the date (the busiest tourist period of the year in Japan) and to the hotel's fame. After this, everything went perfectly. The room was magnificent. The fixtures, such as the shower, and the amenities, were top-rate. The bed was large and comfortable. The refrigerator was well-stocked with complimentary beverages. The grand bath was large and full of various smaller baths, meaning that we could avoid crowding. The pool was expansive and again, easy to use without any issues of crowding. The breakfast was sumptuous; I could have stayed there for hours. While enjoying a vast array of Japanese and Western dishes, we had a spectacular view of the southern section of Arima Onsen and Mt. Takamaruyama in the background. When I returned from a trip to the town at night to buy milk, a staff member rushed to me with a dry towel (I was caught in a flash rainstorm) and helped me dry off. Everything from the charming European coffeemaker to the salubrious iron-laden waters of the hot spring was just right. Both of us agreed that this was an ideal place for a father and daughter to spend an overnight visit in August. We regret only one thing: That we did not book an additional night.
As I said, the initial wait was long, but I have only myself to blame, as I booked the room during the Bon holidays, a notoriously busy time in Japan. The hotel could, however, comfortably absorb the large number of guests; we never felt that we were packed in. Even the elevators moved fluidly.

The place was more modern that I thought. The 9f onsen with the night star view was fantastic.
room layout seems a bit cramp.

There are 2 onsen locations - on the 9th floor and B2. Both are very clean, especially the one on the 9/F, which is with gorgeous view.
The choices of restaurants for dinner were limited.
