Great hotel good location clean high level service food , no water offered
Water charges !!! No water offered and You have to pay for water ? Shocking

Well located, nice pool and facilities.
I booked a deluxe double room and when checking in I was given a twin room. No explanation, no apologies. Only “this is the only room we have”. An email before hand would have been appreciated. And the minimum would have been an apology from the receptionist. Very disappointing!

Very convenient location. Hang out spaces are very nice.
The wait staff would leave items off the bill then ask you to add them to the balance. This appears a way for them to pocket additional cash. It cheats the hotel not the client. Several different staff members did this. So it is a systemic issue. Bar staff did not always return change either.

Superlage, erste Reihe mit den teuersten Hotels aber mit 200 Euro absolute ehrliche Alternative.

Close proximity to the Victoria Falls National Park, walking distance to the restaurants, pubs and shopping. The pool is refreshing at the end of a hot and hectic day. Smiling and very attentive waitstaff.😍
Loud party noise, music at night overheated from our hotel room. Shorthanded waitstaff at the breakfast buffet on the Saturday morning (it was an Easter holiday weekend) long wait for service, empty buffet food and long wait to be refilled and utensils, drinking glasses to be replenished in the buffet.

The location is perfect for a short trip to visit the falls and surrounding attractions. During our 3 night stay we took advantage of the many tours leaving from the hotel making this hotel a perfect base from which to explore and make the most of our time there.

Loved everything especially the staff, the location, the cleanliness and ease of doing things.
The shower. There were no shower doors which meant the entire bathroom floor would get wet when bathing

The staff were exceptional. The breakfast quality was very good with freshly cooked hot option.
The trip bookings were well managed and staff very knowledgeable.
Not enough sunbeds round the pool, and those that were there were not that comfortable

Enjoyed my stay here, from hearing the Vic falls sound at night to being woke up by beautiful birds singing…Beautiful modern rooms which are cleaned twice per day(yes they’re a-bit small but you can move in and out easily and it’s enough space for a couple), beautifully set up, loved the pool area. Stuff were friendly and we could book for all activities there and friendly reminder each day. Would definitely come here again.
Some guests could have their food by the bar area but every time we ordered there we were told to go to the restaurant area which we couldn’t understand. Also felt like some waiters preferred or rather were quick to serve guests in groups than us as a couple. It could be because of tips I don’t know but honestly it was really not pleasant. Breakfast was the same which was boring. If you’re planning to stay here make sure you’ve got enough money as the food is expensive but it’s pleasant.

Everything was splendid! Loved it all. Jason in the bar was really great! Loved the walk to the Falls!
Slight snafu on departure to airport - but it was resolved fairly quickly.
8.0
the proximity to the falls
great place to meet people & get your activities organised
constant helicopter noise overhead makes the stay hardly relaxing.
no view from any of the rooms (you stare at the wall of the next villa complex)
there’s virtually no difference between standard & deluxe (I stayed in both)

Breakfast choice was good and service excellent. .
Generally the dinner menu was limited.

Location. Ease of booking excursions from
reception.
Twice we requested a take away breakfast as we were off on safari early the next day, they informed us at breakfast that we weren’t eligible for it (we were). they apologised and rectified the mistake but we then had to wait 30mins for the take away breakfast. This could have been solved if the staff had been proactive and informed us if this the night before especially since we’d repeatedly asked.

Breakfast was excellent, location very good within easy walking distance to Vic Falls

Facilities were great
Staff were not allowed to run bar tabs for anyone. So while sitting by the pool we needed to keep cash or cards with us, instead of keeping them in the safe in our rooms. This is not a safe practice.
The level of harassment right at the gates to this property was the highest experienced in the three southern Africa countries we visited.
I expect better service from accommodations commanding the rates that Explorers Village does.

A very special thank you to Harmony who was extremely helpful in helping us to receive an item we had left behind. Went out of his way to assist
Nothing - everything top notch

The location is great. It can be a bit noisy if people happen to be walking right by your room. They organise lots of activities. The food in the restaurant is good.

Not having microwaves in our rooms and the single beds are too small.
