La gentillesse du personnel et des habitants du Zimbabwe.
Le charme des lieux et la proximité de la nature.
Le petit déjeuner.
La piscine.
La nourriture du restaurant trop riche et trop grasse.

Beautiful rooms, cleans and stylish. Amazing location and friendly and helpful staff. Saw so many animals at the waterhole. A magical stay.
Nothing, it was all great

The breakfast buffet was fantastic with 180 degree views from the restaurant. I loved the Bloody Mary station! Our safari suite was spacious and comfortable with a minibar included stocking local beers etc. The dinner was delicious and the singing by a local group was amazing and a perfect touch to the evening. The vulture restaurant was a highlight. Before breakfast we did an early morning bird walk with a guide organized by the hotel and he was extremely knowledgeable and we highly recommend him. He did however have an old binoculars and I would urge the hotel to provide their guides with decent binoculars, especially in a country like Zimbabwe where the wages are relatively low.
The rooms will need some updating soon as it already requires some maintenance here and there, but it did not bother us. The hotel should provide their guides with proper binoculars. It is unrealistic to expect the guides to provide their own.

Location was spectacular and very well situated to enjoy the area, especially the Zambezi National Park. The staff was very professional and accommodated our requests as best they could.
The accommodations are a bit rundown and are in desperate need of an upgrade, which should not be a problem as the stay rate is rather high for the accommodations provided. The mosquito situation was near - making common areas in the evening almost unusable - even with the commercial-grade sprays. The nets around the beds seemed to trap more mosquitoes in then prevented them from entering. This accommodation could be easily calked to prevent the influx of mosquitoes through all the gaps in the wall, ceiling, windows, but for the life of me it hasn't been done. There are heavy mosquito concentrations due to constant grass watering and stagnant water feeding pools to attract animals closer to the rooms.

What a gem of a place - best location and even better staff- actually the best service I have experienced in years of travel . Amazing food at good prices
Nothing with the property but if you plan to over the boarder a few times make sure you have the correct visa

Beautiful setting and the lodge has a traditional charm. The rooms where very generous and the outdoor bar terrace was incredible.
Lots of mosquitoes

Very spacious suites - well stocked. Good beds and bedding - big bath and walk in shower. A bit dated - but rustic. Really brilliant staff and good food. Fabulous view.
The gardens need attention. Feels a bit “dusty”.

Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Vegetarian food was great both at the club and main restaurant
We had arranged a taxi pickup which never arrived even after multiple phone calls. The initial suite allocated was not very clean and had a bad damp smell. However staff were helpful and moved us at no extra cost to beautiful club rooms as soon as we raised the issue. Appreciated the prompt resolution

The family suite had three large bedrooms each having its own ensuite and the lounge and outdoor are was so private an fabulous.
The pool was so beautiful and fun for the kids. the view overlooking the Zimbabwe National Reserve waterhole was breathtaking. We saw elephants, buffalo, giraffes, baboons, antelope and many species of birds every day.
The Zimbabwe Staff were so helpful and happy it was infectious 😁.
no bad things to say

amazing view of watering hole, and pools were nice. the shuttle to town was nice, though wish it was more often and went more places. they helped us book activities, which was great.
not really kid friendly - lack of kids menu, dilapidated playground, late dinner time. breakfast was only ok - basic and then you could pay extra for things like eggs. air conditioning unit didn’t work in one of the rooms. drum show at nice kept up kids. o rally, things were expensive for what they were.

Staff was friendly, helpful and polite. The resort was of high standard but still very rustic and gave a true ' In the bush' experience. I enjoyed the views from breakfast/supper and it was the perfect way end the day.
The dinner menu was the same for the 6 days of my stay and the variety was very limited. Perhaps a different food theme for each night would be an idea (Buffet) or expand the current menu.
