The most friendly hosts during our 2200 km around Iceland. We talked a lot about Iceland, culture, work, nature, ...
Furthermore we loved the cookies, the lovely breakfast and had a lot fun playing board games in the cosy livingroom. Thanks for the great time we had here.

In our 10 days trip to Iceland, it was the most exciting and amazing experience we had.
The host (Elisabeth) was so kind, nice and welcoming. We felt at home. All done with a lot of love.
I’ll never forget the breakfast with local products.
Highly recommend this accommodation.
All 5 starts.

Everything was perfect! The rooms were very comfortable and the area was nice to take a walk.
We specially enjoyed the good food Elisabeth made for us and the hospitality that was so kind with a big smile.
Thank you very much!

We felt more than welcome. The owner spoiled us with delicious breakfasts and dinner (local products!). The guesthouse is perfectly located - close enough to Akureyri but you still get this "in the middle of nowhere"/"close to nature" experience. The rooms are immaculately clean and super comfortable. We loved visiting the sheep farm, cuddling all the dogs at work, hearing all the stories about living in Iceland, but what we loved the most was Elizabeth's (owner) passion and her genuine hospitality. We totally recommend staying here and we are definitely coming back!

Elisabeth was a lovely host- very friendly and kind to our young family. The setting is beautiful and Elisabeth’s cooking was fantastic - the dinner was delicious with lamb from the farm and my sons favourite, a crumble, for pudding. Elisabeth even found my son with a sledge for our walk.

The host was lovely, we couldn't arrive at the expected time but she helped us to do the self check-in. The guesthouse was great, room was big and confortable with private bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, my wife is celiac and she even baked a different bread for her!! Also the cookies very fantastic. Would recommend 100%.

Cosy farm apartments, seems like nothing special — but the owner was very welcoming and really made our evening and morning! She prepared a great dinner and breakfast for us. And even shared her dentist contacts so that we could cure one of our group :)
We had no problems at all :)

Beautifully located between mountains, but the main reason to stay here is the wonderful host. Be sure to take the dinner offered, restaurant quality food!!

Elisabeth is a fantastic host. We fellt very welcome and enjoyed our stay to the fullest! Elisabeth's breakfast fellt like mum has prepared it: 3 variations of freshly baked bread (amazingly delicious) and a selection of handmade jam and anything else you could just wish for! The room itself was basic but had everything we needed and was VERY clean. The living room and kitchen area that is shared by everyone was decorated with much love and is very cosy. The location of the guesthouse is just perfect for spotting northern lights which made the evening very special. What we also enjoyed very much ws having chats with Elisabeth about live in Iceland and she gave us great tips for our trip. We would stay here anytime again and can only recommend this guesthouse!

Elizabeth is a super host. She goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. You can truly see her passion and she loves to meet and chat with her guests. The whole guesthouse is immaculately clean and the interior is wonderful. Be sure to not miss her home cooked dinner. The breakfast that is included is great - yoghurt, breads, egg, fruits, ham, cheese etc. The view from the room is lovely too! It’s on a working farm.
Really nothing bad to say at all.

The stay at Guesthouse Baegisa was the highlight of our trip. We intend to go back to Iceland someday and would like to stay here again. The hosts went above and beyond to prepare delicious gluten-free meals for us. They gave us great advice for a local hike and showed us around the farm. We also enjoyed midnight hikes from the property back into a gorge and toward a waterfall. The food was amazing, the hospitality was superb, and the landscape was inspiring and beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. This place is very special! We loved it!
Everything was great.

Fantastic host and outstanding breakfast! The owner Elisabeth is doing her utmost to make you feel home.
Very good place to watch Aurora as there is no artificial light.
We would definitely come back.

Outstanding place to stay ! Elisabeth is a truly wonderful host. Excellent food and facilities. A working farm so adds another dimension to the stay. The cows are especially friendly! We could (& did) ski from the door. Loved it. Will return.

This was the best place I've stayed in my trip to Iceland. First of all the place is amazing. You have everything you need in terms of conditions plus you have an amazing host that will help you in everything that you need. I requested a dinner cooked by her and it was an amazing meal. Also, we got stuck in the place due to bad weather and we were allowed to stay one more night and a homemade soup was offered and I have no words of thanking for the welcoming sympathy I was offered. This was truly and amazing experience and we were able to also see how the farm operates, the sheeps, the three beautifull dogs they have and everything. In your trip around Iceland missing the opportunity to stay here for one night will be a mistake.
Nothing to say! Everything was amazing!

The owner, Elisabeth, makes the stay the most comfortable ever... there was nothing she wouldn’t accommodate. She toured us around their farm, let us meet some sheep, see the new born calves and made us an amazing vegetable soup with a berry crumble for dinner. I would drive to Akureyri just to stay at her guesthouse again!
