Warm and Cozy Stay

Comfortable and easy to get to. The check in was very easy as well, received a code and just got into our house. Even tho we weren't having any problems, staff came over to help if it was needed. At check out, we just closed the door and left. Staff came over to say goodbye including a very happy and friendly dog. Nice and warm house with two great sized rooms and living room and connected kitchen. We cooked dinner and breakfast and all was working as expected. The photos and description are accurate!

The window of one of the rooms let in the smallest draft of air. Iceland is VERY windy. This is a very small detail and it doesn't matter much due to the house being so warm, we actually had to turn off the heating 😅

Cosy apartment

The apartment is spacious considered we were group of 5 people. There was enough room for everyone to move around. The apartment was clean and warm too. The little entrance hall is handy to leave wet shoes and hang wet jackets so that the apartment is always clean. Handy to have a washing machine inside the apartment.

The location is a bit hard to find as you have to turn into a gravel road then drive a bit which could be a bit confusing when arriving after dark. Cooking utensils unfortunately were all in the main building instead of inside the apartment but it was not bad.

Schöner Aufenthalt in ruhiger Lage mit sehr netter Gastgeberin

Das Apartment liegt gut erreichbar nicht weit von der Ringstraße, aber in ruhiger und schöner Umgebung. Es war warm und gemütlich. Wir hatten zwei Schlafzimmer, ein sauberes Bad und einen schönen Aufenthaltsraum mit Kochgelegenheit. Es war alles an Ausstattung da, was man brauchte. Es gibt einen Hotpot für alle Gäste, den wir an einem Abend genutzt haben und der sehr zu empfehlen ist. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie gab uns noch gute Ausflugs-Tipps und außerdem noch zwei Adressen in der Nähe, um einen Ausritt auf Islandpferden zu machen, was dann auch spontan noch am selben Tag geklappt hat. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke, Ragnhildur !

Exceptional

The cottage is located 20 minutes from Selfoss and is in the countryside in a quiet location. It has a hotpot for the guests, which is really nice after a hard day walking.

Best place we stayed in Iceland

Couldn't fault this place, stayed in the 2 bed apartment & it was really big. Well equipped kitchen with everything you could need, even an egg slicer! Could park right next to the apartment. Very quiet location with lovely views. Shower was great and beds really comfy. Could have stayed longer. They even provided slip on shoes to wear inside. Staff very helpful.

Great one night stay

The apartment was very warm, clean and comfortable. There was a code at the door, so check-in and check-out was super easy. The location is great if you're doing the Golden circle road trip.

Enaugh space for four adults in two separate bedrooms , one living room with good equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower an laundry machine (Country Apartment) Hot tube outside on request USB loading slots next to the beds Parking next to the apartment

Non acceptable free WLAN (lowest performance) Code for WLAN were provided with booking confirmation but was useless as no individual WLAN was available. Proposal: We recommend to have a scissors in the kitchenette

Really practical accomodation as a base for tours to Highlights of Iceland.

The property is I believe in an ideal location for the traveller who wants to do his own thing. Very well placed for drives out to geysirm, gullfoss and drives out to popular northern light hotspots Property is clean, very well priced in my opinion considering Iceland prices. Wifi was great. Bed comfy. The kitchen well equipped.

Two room apartment, spacious and clean. Small kitchen well equipped. Entry space to leave your shoes and coats. Clean linen. The place has a washing machine.

Very nice and central location. Very beautiful scenery.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The Hosts were just fantastic. There were no problems with special requests. The location is very close to a horse breeder.

Excellent quiet location for continuation of our trip.

The location was great. The hosts were awesome especially since we lost power a couple of times due to a faulty kettle that kept tripping the power. They were right on it.

The address on booking and the actual address is different (about 22km). After a long day of travelling this was stressful. Had to call the host and he texted the correct address through a link. It would also be nice to have a dryer to go along with the washer in the apartment as all our clothes were wet. The apartment was chosen because of the washer and we assumed there was a dryer to go along. We would have gladly paid extra to use their dryer. Ended up having to hang out the clothes and then it rained the whole evening. The hosts were awesome. They had taken the clothes in and put it on a drying rack. We had to pack damp clothes which was not ideal.

The remote & quietness of the apartment. Lot of light. Nice veiw from the windows. Presence of the owner in the area.

It could be better if there was an oven in the kitchen
