L’emplacement dans un cadre naturel magnifique, légèrement à l’écart de la route principale. La literie comfortable et la décoration soignée.
Rien.

Very brand new and still smell the paint fumes, needs a fan or two, and marble countertop for the shower, use with caution

De ligging, een familiebedrijf, het uitzicht.

Room was perfect for a group - we were 4 friends. The staff were very helpful and offered a service for the manager to call if the Northern lights came out. We were very lucky that they did and we were able to see them directly from the property. Also loved the sauna and hot tub after a long day of exploring!

Prima service dus!

Great location. Very isolated and quiet. Staff really friendly and lovely family feel. Food was really good. Really pretty buildings. Well located for exploring the Hella region and only 30 mins from Reynisfara beach.
There were very bright lights on all night outside the bedrooms meaning that anyone sleeping in a bed next to the window was disturbed by them especially as the curtains are not blackout and barely cover the windows. It also made looking at the stars and searching for the Northern lights difficult as the lights were distracting. The door handle on our room was faulty and made it difficult to open the door. This meant that we did not lock our room at night as we were worried about opening the door if we had to get out quickly for any reason.

Jacuzzi, hot tub, sauna. Great location for northern lights IF it isn’t cloudy or raining. That’s why we booked this property.
Nothing, really.

Nice hotel restaurant. Clean with car park.
Not much of seating area, only three chairs and one sofa seat.

A magnificent suite awaits, complete with an outdoor sauna and jacuzzi. Adjacent to the suite, there lies a serene river, enhancing the tranquil ambiance of this extraordinary haven. Prepare to immerse yourself in the utmost tranquility and serenity at this idyllic retreat.

The location was absolutely amazing. Very comfortable and clean . The host was absolutely lovely and so helpful.
I wish that they had a way to dim the outside lights to reduce light pollution as it’s a perfect place to watch the northern lights. The evening meal was not warm although tasty.

This property is perfect in every way - Fantastic hosts, amazing food, perfect location, Northern Lights wake up service, outdoor hot tub and plunge pool.
Our stay wasn’t long enough.

Staff was really friendly, they even called us during the night to warn us about the northern lights.
Bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious.
The room was not properly cleaned.
The lights on the outside (and the lack of decent blackouts).

Staff is great, rooms are comfortable and location is superb for having a dark sky to chase stars & northern lights. You of course need a car to reach the place and closest area with restaurants and supermarkets are around 10 mins by car. However the hotel has breakfast, dinner and a bar you can enjoy as well. Although the dinner was a bit pricey (like everything in Iceland) it was really delicious home-made food.

Gorgeous, quaint cabin in a beautiful remote location. It was so quiet and having the hot tub and sauna to ourselves made the trip extra special.
The bed was really comfortable, had a wonderful nights sleep despite the wind and the cabin was really warm it was a nice bonus that you could manage the heating control yourself.
Food at the restaurant was delicious and the ladies working there were extremely lovely and hospitable.
We had the top choice of accommodation at the property and I believe based on this and the cost the breakfast should automatically be included in the price.
Although the dinner was faultless and service was fantastic, the price is on the expensive side.
Our TV remote wasn’t working which was a slight inconvenience however the team were quick to sort a replacement.
I understand it was low season but would’ve liked for the hot tub and sauna to already be up and running when we got there as the sauna didn’t heat up fully.

Completely out of the way a quiet but perfect to see so much in Iceland. Really warm and peaceful place and we got some great pictures of the northern lights

I wish our stay was longer, we only stayed for a night and I can say it was great, the food at its restaurant is great and delicious with a service that elevates the food, the place is beautiful and charming, more than the photos reveal. I really loved this place and the sauna and jacuzzi area were a great way to warm my body after a cold day in Iceland.
My wife and I had a great time, only thing that I would have wished was to be able to see the aurora there, we were in a cloudy night so there was no luck, but given the area they are in I bet it is a wonderful sight.
3.5
location and restaurant
rooms a bit more rustic and small than expected

The location had on site food service which is rare throughout the more remote areas of Iceland. There was also good amenities such as a lounge and hot tub area.
The shower drainage could have been improved as well as providing shampoo and conditioner.
