Our extended family very much enjoyed our second stay at Vista Place. The house is comfortably furnished, has numerous spaces to hang out alone or in small groups when quiet time is needed, and is well cared for. During our late fall visit, we mainly enjoyed the interior spaces and peaceful atmosphere. Visiting during the summer allowed us to take advantage of the boat house deck (with ladder access from the water), kayaks, paddle boards, float pad, and the sandy beach area shaded from the afternoon sun. We spent lots of time on the screened porch during both visits. We appreciated the privacy of the property and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet this area of the lake was even in summer. The host Anne was very responsive to our inquiries and even volunteered suggestions to beginning paddleboarders on how to use Vista Place’s equipment. We just wish we had thought to bring our binoculars for checking out the variety of birds in the area.

Beautiful clean, well maintained home. Great location, private beach, fire pit, and boat house. I can’t say enough about how much the entire family loved this place. We will be back again.

We definitely want to return. The property was clean, well appointed, quiet and conveniently located (especially when we had to call for a tow of our Waverunner).

The lake house on Lake Anna had all the amenities that were advertised. Our daughters and their families had a wonderful experience swimming, kayaking, jumping on the float mat and playing ping pong. The house was in excellent condition with all utilities working well. I highly recommend it.

This property was well planned and well situated by the lake. It was a perfect place for young and old in the family. The best parts were the warm lake water, shaded beach for kids, well-designed boat house, water activities available, big kitchen, playroom, and screened porch. We loved all of it.
5.0
Enjoyed the community and dock. However the inside property needed to be sprayed as there seemed to be an excessive amount of bugs even though the host had shared that the property is in the woods.

Spent a beautiful weekend with family at Vista Place. Everything was perfect. The weather, the neighborhood, and especially the views! Anne was great communicating with me from the initial check in to check out and very accommodating. We will be back for another family reunion!

I've rented on Lake Anna for years, and this has been (by far) the best house & property! I traveled this year with my wife and three young kids, my parents, and my brother.
The house has a great layout and is very clean and well kept. The property was the real highlight of our stay with the unbelievable backyard! There is a nice dock & boathouse, firepit, and best of all, private beach! The kids and adults alike had a blast hanging out at the beach, swimming, and enjoying adventures on the Lilypad, kayaks, and paddleboards (all provided by the owners!). As an added bonus, trees provided the perfect amount of shade at the beach in the afternoon. At the end of trip, my mom said "This was one of my favorite and most relaxing vacations I've ever been on." Thanks, and we hope to stay here again in the future!

Our multi-generational group loved this house during our first vacation to Lake Anna. Location was great, walk right out back to private dock and beach. House was great, with comfortable furniture and beds. Great to have lots of outdoor equipment (2 kayaks, 2 kid kayaks, 2 paddleboards). Owner was very communicative and responded to messages quickly. Hope to book again in the future!

My sister has serious allergies she stepped in the house and they flared up as soon as she came in the house and she said there was definitely more than one cat in the house at some point. She kept throwing up and had hives none of us own cats by the way. Needless to say she ended up leaving earlier than the rest of us because it triggered her fibromyalgia. The house is nice my other sister had to mop floor because the kitchen floor was sticky.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! Highlights included meals on the screened porch, building sand castles, kayaking, and experiencing the incredible fall weather and peaceful scenery.

This is a perfect location on the lake- we had sunshine in the morning (on the dock) and cool shade in the afternoon.
The house is exactly as it is shown with wonderful outdoor spaces. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch.
The beach was perfect for swimming and we also used the kayaks throughout our stay.
We will definitely return.

Our family loved staying at this property on the lake. Ann was a terrific host and provided excellent information prior to our arrival. The house was even better than shown, extremely clean and well stocked. It was truly a wonderful and relaxing experience. The kids had fun using the water toys provided such as the kayaks, stand up paddle boards, etc..
When we had a mishap with our boat trailer and reached out to Ann, she was incredibly helpful in finding us a staplegun from her network of friendly neighbors. Definitely above and beyond from what I would expect for a VRBO.. We highly recommend this property.

This was the perfect house for a short R&R getaway weekend with a few old friends. Ann (property owner) was a top-notch host with great communications before and throughout the stay. I plan to bring the wife and children back for another week/weekend for another getaway to fish, canoe, swim and rest up away from the city very soon! Thank you, Ann!

We had such a great stay here and would love to rent again. The fire pit was so fun for s’mores at night, and the beach, boat house, and kayaks provided amazing outdoor time. The water is so warm we were able to swim at then end of September.

This house has a beautiful elevated view overlooking a quiet portion of lake Anna. The sandy beach with partial shade was just perfect for our three granddaughters. The clear warm water was teaming with fish and made for refreshing swims off the boat dock. The swimming pool and tennis courts are very new and well maintained. We enjoyed using our canoe..... and the kakayes supplied by the owners gave us the opportunity to get a close up view of two bald eagles nesting in a tall tree within sight from the beach. I am not sure if there is a restriction to when the power boats can start using the lake or not ....but we always enjoyed the peaceful quiet mornings.....and the power boaters all seemed very friendly and respectful of Canoes and kayaks. in summary this beautiful lake home met and exceeded our high expectations!

The house is beautiful. Great open concept. Loved the screened in porch plus the open wrap around. Lovely view of the lake. The lower level is huge and very comfortable. Plenty of room on the main level with a huge kitchen, and the upstairs is planned out nicely with the Master bedroom just across from the kiddies room. The internet service was spotty at times but after a while it didn't matter. It was actually a nice break not to have social media.

Would do it again in a heartbeat
