We had the best time for my partners surprise 40th and some of his friends & family.. The house is super old and super beautiful all the rooms are very comfortable with own bathrooms perfect for couples . we spent so much time in the house as didn't want to leave even had party pigs to bring us food in on the Friday after we had arrived.. There is a great walk straight from the house to the Rudyard hotel and lake lovely area.. I could go on and on because each and every one of us enjoyed every minute .. So a big thank you to the owners as nothing was to much trouble and made our stay unforgettable xxx

We were a group of six friends enjoying a week together.
We were a group of six friends enjoying a week together. Dairy House Farm is a beautiful, very old house which has been updated to include lovely bathrooms and kitchen, while maintaing many original features. The owner provided a welcome hamper and toiletries, which was a really lovely touch. Access is along narrow country roads, so only come if you don't mind reversing! I'd definitely recommend this house.

A party of 11 adults, we spent a fabulous weekend at this lovely house.
A party of 11 adults, we spent a fabulous weekend at this lovely house. Extremely clean, wonderful facilities including complimentary toiletries in every bathroom. A welcome basket with wine, chocolates and biscuits was another lovely touch. The hot tub was a lovely place to relax and we were very lucky with the weather as two of the 3 days were gorgeous. Location was quiet and peaceful and views were amazing. We spent time canoeing at Rudyard Lake which was only a few minutes away, followed by ice-creams from the cafe overlooking the lake. Great evening meal on the Saturday at the Lazy Trout just a few miles away. Andrea was very helpful when we needed any advice. Genuinely couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Andrea for letting us stay at this lovely house.
