Had the penthouse suite over looking the beach.
Apartment was fab, comfortable, well decorated with a large balcony.
There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues…..but in the scheme of things there wasn’t anything we disliked.

Location is good and the sea view was great. Apartment was very clean and has everything you need. Staff on reception really nice and easy to deal with.
Was very warm but might be down to us not understanding the heating system.?

Receptionist was very friendly and accommodating by taking us to our apartment which was exceptional and spotless , location excellent
Payed extra to include breakfast however only went the first morning as we didn’t like the taste of the bacon and sausage , must have been cooked in oil and that’s all you tasted

Excellent reception staff. Great location.

Location. Right.on the beach, sitting above posh (for.Scarborough) eateries and convenience shop. Short walk to straightforward beachfront cafes, Sea Life Centre and pub to the North. 20 mins walk to full-blown arcadia of South Bay.
Very friendly reception staff.
Modern apartment with plenty of room.
Endearing old-school DVD rental system with great film choice.
Gym is not 'state of the art' as advertised; quite small and no cardio
Not truly 5* when you're asked to strip beds and empty bins at end of stay.

Location, right on the beach, nearby for food and plenty of activities and bus stop with frequent buses to take you along to the South Bay

The location
I was not advised in advance that a £100 deposit would be required. I was then told that this would be released on departure (10 July). After chasing I was advised deposit had been released 19 July and after chasing again today I was advised deposit had been released on 21 July. It’s now 25 July and still no refund

The apartment was clean and accommodated our party so that we could all stay together. The two ladies in training in reception were excellent, helpful and very welcoming. We had no issues with the property.
We were not impressed with the parking situation at all at the Sands. A gentleman had a friend with him who had double parked and left the second car there all night right behind the designated space. We and several other guests were told that the venue was fully booked for the weekend so there were no spaces for second vehicles. My brother had to park his car streets away with a 10-15 minute walk back to the Sands, our in laws also had to park a second car there and we didn’t flout the rules, but as I already said the Porsche driver left the second car there all night and wouldn’t move it. He also blocked my designated space and I was squashed between his car and a four wheel drive Range Rover in a designated space I only just got into the space. One of the nice ladies in reception found us an alternative space on the Saturday after some guests had left which was not so boxed in. The only trouble was we went to celebrate our daughters wedding on the Saturday afternoon/evening and when we got back to put our granddaughter to bed a van had parked in our space we were fed up by this time. My husband had to go to reception again and spoke to a lady who phoned the van driver to come and move it, we believe that he was not a resident at the Sands but was sitting in a Cafe. He moved his van and drove off through the exit. I had to sit in the car and wait with my grand daughter who is only 6 , until the van driver turned up. This was all very annoying we didn’t think we would go out and after having a lovely day return only to find our parking space blocked yet again. I wish you could build another floor to the car park and that would supply more spaces, but I wish that non residents would not park in your facility, someone is either letting them in or they are bending the rules. This was one big factor we were not happy with.

Easy approach with the company to start our holiday, it was a seamless process upon checking in and moving in...fabulous experience...
Not much being honest...
Just a simple kitchen pack of which is normally available within such bookings...
Missing a spare bin bag, usually a couple to be going on with...a good wash up sponge.. that can clean properly, we had a cloth....apart fro that pretty dam perfect....!!

Sea view apartments have a fantastic view. Any closer and I'd have wet feet. Lovely apartment. Well finished. Very comfortable. I will book again if I can get a good price.
Car park spaces rather tight but manageable with care (good size 4x4).
