Fast Check in by pleasant staff. Nice room

Easy walking distance from Roma St station, from shops in CBD and from Southbank. Nice big room and big bathroom. Good tea making facilities. Excellent cafe next door making it easy to get breakfast. Very reasonable price for a city hotel.

Location was fantastic. Lady at the front desk in the morning was lovely
Room was tiny and cramped, bedding felt damp, shower dripped all night.

Ubicación perfecta. Habitación amplia y todo tipo de prestaciones.
Suelo del baño mojado todo el tiempo debido a que se filtraba agua que perdía la ducha.

Location, price, clean
Our balcony was large but looked onto the next building and had noisy air con units next to it

The location was good and the rooms were affordable priced compared to other hotels in the area.
The rooms were extremely small and congested. There have been no upgrades since the 1990s. Very basic hotel if you are ok with it.

The location of the hotel was great. Lots of restaurants, sights and shopping near by. Easy to commute with public transportation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed. Bonus points for Chrome cast which we didn’t even expect. Great value for money.
The only negative thing was that there were no openable widows in the room but we did have air conditioning so it was fine.

Location good
Not enough room to walk around the bed, to narrow between bed and wall. To close the bed to table as well.
7.0
Great location- central to everything.
Staff were very friendly & accommodating.
Hot water to shower wasn’t the best. Took a while to heat up, then bounced from hot to cold.

Location perfect and it is great now with restaurant attached
Having to pay a holding fee of hundred Australian dollars and then the change to NZ dollars then a credit card fee

It was impossible to fill up my kettle as the tap outlet was too low. You need to seriously change the tap fittings. That was annoying when I wanted a cuppa.
8.0
I liked the location as it was close to where I needed to be. It was also only about a 5 minute walk from Roma Street Train Station. The bed was comfortable and had everything I required for a one night stay.
8.0
Great location, 2 streets away from Queen Street Mall (about a 5 minute walk)
Room was super comfortable, staff were lovely & went out of their way to help if any issues arose, comfy beds.
7-11 right downstairs which was great for any little items you might have needed.
The carpark was extremely tight & my car only just fit down there, is a one way only so it's a real struggle if there's a car coming in the opposite direction, very tight alley to access to car parking garage as well..
Had issues with connecting to the WiFi & the Chromecast, wouldn't connect at all.

We needed a spot close to the city for our short trip and George Williams is perfectly located close to the shopping malls, coffee shops and bus stations.
We did not have any complaints.

We arrived late approx 7.30pm
Hotel accommodation pre paid.
We were asked to pay $100 security. We left hotel at 4am to catch train.
I accept this is hotel policy but feel we should have known about it
Staff not over helpful. Unlikely to stay again because of this

Location was great
Night time construction from 8:30pm - 4:30am right outside our room (construction on the same building). We were not told this would be happening and so not being able to sleep at all on our first night there was really disappointing

The location of the hotel was beneficial. The elevators were a bonus. The aircon was nice and cold. The staff were nice.
The water pressure was heartbreaking. So bad. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Could hear everyone and anything. Conversations and sneezing (and the naughty). The fridge got hot because of where it was. The card didn’t work at sometimes and you had to try multiple times.

The location was perfect for my work conference
The hallway from the lift to my room was dark with a light out, made me a little uneasy late at night.

Spacious, well appointed room. Lots of little extras provided.
Bathroom had not been cleaned properly - there was hair stuck to the wall and a used shower cap behind the door.
Finding a park before we could check in was crazy.

good location
the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. Felt clautrophobic at night as could not open window and the A/C was very loud. The inside of one of the cupboard doors was dirty.
9.0
Fantastic location and staff - I was early into the city, but there was a parking space available and my room was ready for an early check in. Small and compact room, but had everything that I could need (inc ironing board) for an overnight stay. Good bathroom, comfy bed and efficient air-conditioning. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs the next morning had amazing coffee selection and good value meals.
Nothing to dislike
7.0
Brilliant location. Comfortable room. Great value
Minimal hot water. It was luke warm not matter what time of day. Smoke alarm and evacuation at 3am with no information from staff member on duty. Guests had to work it out amongst themselves.
