Very well located, easy walk to the centre of the City and all the sights.
Room was small, 86 steps to our bedroom, shower was very small also.

Location
The room was in the attic with many flights of stairs. The bed was rock hard and lumpy. It was either very old or a very cheap mattress or both.
we paid £288 for one night stay. There were no complementary bottles of water or biscuits.
This is NOT 'The Place' to stay. Avoid at all cost.

The lobby/bar area was very beautifully presented. The whole property was very clean.
No lift. Not a great problem for us but some of our friends struggled as they were on the very top floor.

Location was excellent
Very uncomfortable beds as you would expect in a budget room. Very noisy room. Stuck in basement as movement above was very loud and frequent. Extremely expensive and breakfast was additional and very expensive. Also not great offering and reluctant to give a drink top up.

Hotels entryway and lounge area is quite nice, clean and modern design. Bathroom was very spacious and shower was superb!!
Room size could have been a bit bigger but hardly any complaints

Ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. Room was comfortable. Excellent breakfast and staff excellent and very helpful. Also you get a forty percent voucher off you car parking as like any major uk city parking is expensive so this helps
we were very happy here

Location is fine, it is possible to walk to many of the main attractions in Edinburgh. The street per se is not interesting, but is is close to nice places. There are 2 malls close by, in which you find restaurants and other facilities. the hotel is typical UK. There is a Tesco Express near by. Hotel was quiet, you do not hear too much going on there.
Not very well sound isolated. You can hear the cars on the street all night long. There is no elevator, so be prepared for the stairs. My room was really small, just a single bed.

Excellent location near the centre of Edinburgh. Pleasant friendly hotel with attentive helpful staff. We were given an upgrade which was lovely
Pity there were so many steps to climb to the room but it kept us fit

Scaffolding blocking our view out of the window. Would have been great to know it was there before hand.

We asked for a twin bedded room but none was available so settled for the double bedded room offered on the top floor. 30 minutes later we got a phone call to say there was a twin bedded room available on the 1st floor. Turned out it was a junior suite, the Robert Louis Stevenson room , no less! It was fantastic! Thanks again to Shay? and the other staff, sorry don't have names who were all fantastic!
there was nothing we didn't like
