Near the beach and town so had lovely surroundings, good use of space and big bathroom
No storage space, quite a lot of dust around the place and stained sheets and towels, nowhere to dry clothes

The location to Fistral Beach was perfect, plus so close to the town. The house and facilities were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Amazing location, very close to Newquay town centre and Fistral beach, with off street parking.

Property bigger than we thought, location is spot on, owners very helpful, bedrooms are big, bathroom huge and the underfloor heating is a bonus. Can't say anything bad about it!
Previous people to stay spilt something in the oven and didn't clean it. Spoke to Jane and she was so apologetic and offered to clean it when we was out so no great drama

Wonderful location
Everything you could want was provided; in the accommodation and immediate surroundings. Parking; coffee shops and several beaches in walkable area
Yard door good design but heavy and not easy to use; french entrance door lock tricky. Probable end of season fatigue and in need of maintenance.

Location was great
5 min to town and fistral beach
General cleanliness
Host messaged to check in.
Lovely guest book with info and previous guest comments of places to eat and visit.
Loved the fresh milk and tea and coffee.
Also liked that the place had cleaning products ready to use and reused what other guest left behind (spesh as we stayed for 2 nights, saved on buying cleaning products)
Bathroom also had toiletries.
Place needed some maintenance
Landing light kept flickering
Some paint work
Bedding needs replacing (stains)
A deep clean is needed as lots of dust in corner, on furniture, under bed etc.
This would not put me off booking or recommending

Finding the property and access into the property were good. General lay out of the property was ideal and the front bedroom and bathroom nice to look at. If it was just a couple who wanted to share the front bedroom staying I am sure it would have felt much nicer.
The courtyard at the back of the house was advertised as good to park your car, well if you had a FIAT 500 I am sure it would be, but to try and negotiate a normal sized car was hazardous to say the least. The glasses and general kitchen facilities and condiments were extremely limited. Both mattresses were not comfortable and the one in the back bedroom was so bobby it could be felt through the sheet and was not very clean when inspected. The window in the back room was also shut so it got very hot. Work being done in the main house meant we were woken every morning around 7:00am if not before, even on the Sunday! There was very little storage for clothes

The host were super helpful and made you feel you could call them if any problems did arise
You could park in the cobbled courtyard they had however it was a very tight squeeze and awkward to maneuver in and out

Great seaside location right by the beach and the town - only about a ten minute walk from either! Decent size bedrooms for us to be comfortable for a week. Their recommendations of local things to see and try were very thoughtful and helpful. Also appreciate that they've left beach games and spades etc for us to use as well.
Would have been good to know that the hosts would be having building work done as this was quite noisy, especially in the mornings. We unfortunately found shards of glass on the patio whilst sitting outside which cut one of our feet which was a real shame. The beds could use an update as not the best night's sleep and found some dirty and undried crockery when we first arrived.

It was central and comfortable. It wasn’t in an area that I was expecting. Think I thought it was closer to the beach and had a sea view. It was fine though.
It was fine

The location was absolutely excellent. Communication before hand was fantastic, very cozy and comfortable home away from home. Would definitely stay again when visiting Newquay !

Owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome and part of their home.
Location was good, 10 mins from Fistral or the town centre.
Parking better than expected.
Very helpful owners.
Some elements were a little tired but the overall layout was great for 2 small families near the beach!

Perfect location. Parking was definitely a bonus. Comfortable beds. Just enough room to sit outside in the court yard to catch the sun. On a bus route.
Perfect for 2 adults and 1 teenager. I think you'd struggle for space with smaller children on a rainy day.
