It was easy to get to but the outside of the building needs some serious attention and the basement I stayed in outside was soaking wet when I arrived (not early) and stayed that way all weekend. The bed was like a big camp bed and my back hurt after 2 nights. It made very strange noises.... on the last day the toilet was blocked but I was in a rush to get to the train station. In short this is a very very average place to stay. I didn't enter the main part except checking in and it was odd and cramped. No info in the room about the area. Cheap finishes but at least clean.
I've said it all in the blurb above

The worse experience of my life, where Police were called because another guest (a visitor who wasn’t even supposed to be at the property) made a threat to my life. Prior to this, another guest was blasting loud music, arguing with the visitor, then being extremely vulgar and disgusting throughout the night (this happened from 10pm-6am). The owner knew all of this and said he “wasn’t tough enough” to remove the guest. He has a duty of care to keep his guests safe, but refused to do so because he was scared?! I have no words. Complete hell from start to finish. Excluding all of this, the place is run down and dirty, super-thin walls so you hear EVERYTHING, staff were banging around and talking loudly all day/night (I believe they stay on the top floor) and the common area stairwell has stained carpets and walls, with creaky, uneven floorboards. Even for how cheap it is, it absolutely isn’t worth it. No seaside charm or character, just a rundown squat more like a halfway hostel.

Room advertised as ‘Luxury’….. it takes a great leap of the imagination to call it that!
It was an adequate, average budget room. It was fine for my purposes though.

you get what you pay for not a bad experience in anyway
2.0
it was clean and bed was comfortable
the windows aren’t double glazed so you can hear everything from the outside, even people walking past

Had a few little issues but the people in charge were lovely and very helpful.
great location

The are is local and easy to access
The cleaning services were awful, never cleaned the bathroom. The waste from shower is very poorly collecting wastewater. The shower temperature hard to control. The toilet is made in kind of wardrobe.

The staff were very happy and smily
An alarm was going off from 2 in the morning. The room was dirty and I didn’t make my conference because the alarm clock didn’t work

Location is very close to the beach, i-360 tower and other fun places
Smell of cigarette in the house and entire building especially from other residents.
They don't change the sheets or properly clean the room

I liked the location and it was an easy check in and check out, small tv in room with basic channels, had a semi decent hair dryer and the fob system to get in and out of room and hotel was slick. decor of communal was quirky. the wooden signs outside door were also a cute touch to the decor there and I liked the name of the hotel.
the room was tiny with a bed that was highly squeaky, the bathroom just about fitted in half of my body. There were body gels left from previous guests that were still in the shower trays. the toilet made a huge loud sound for a minute after you flushed it and the water in the shower wasn’t draining fast enough which made me feel sick. the sheets had stains on them which I discovered in the morning and I just really didn’t have a goodnight sleep. one lamp on side bed wasn’t working. The front entrance of the motel was filled with spiders and con webs at the top which freaked me out. I just felt gross by the end of my stay and I wouldn’t stay here again.

There’re two building of the property, We got a room in a renovating one and despite the outside of the room that’s not finished renovating (we totally understand) the room and everything is super brand new, the bed is very comfortable, it’s located in the centre of Brighton city but during our stay it was very peaceful (might be because of the good sound proofing) And the staff He’s very friendly and kind, everything was lovely

Location
Someone walked in our room at midnight opening the door scaring the life out of us.
Shower had a curtain which when shut made the shower dark as no light on there.

room was clean and comfortable
no good if you’re not a smoker I’m personally not and the property has a smell of stale smoke

Brilliant room for the price.
Drafty balcony doors
3.5
Centrally located in west central Brighton on a secluded square. Easy access, responsive staff, clean functional room with en suite. Good strong shower, plentiful towels and free shampoo and shower gel. Comfortable bed, large controllable radiator, complimentary tea and coffee.
Ground floor room so a little noisy in the morning (front door banging, bin men etc) but that’s just the cacophony you expect from city center places. Decor is tired. Carpet a little stained. Nothing so atrocious that I would call it absolutely on par with the price paid - would stay again.
