Beautiful cabin, very clean. Perfect place for a large family or family reunion. The owner communicated with us more than with any rental I have done (which is 5 or 6.) Check in was very easy and they preempted any concerns we could have had. I had no doubt that if any issue came up they would have responded immediately. Thank you for a great vacation!

Great house, lots of space, we all had our own rooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful, well furnished, with plenty of fun things to do. Management quick to resolve a minor issue with the gas fireplace. Thanks!

The home is breathtaking and the location is ideal as it is backed up to the woods with deer visiting on a regular basis. So surreal and very relaxing. Enjoyed the fireplace immensely and it became a gathering place for the family.
There were areas of concern that we wished had been better and are mentioning them here in the hopes you will take the initiative to correct them.
The home requires a complete spring cleaning. The windows were filthy, the kitchen floors were sticky and there were various bugs (stink bugs, carpenter bees, carpenter ants, bugs in the carpet, etc). Under the buffet in the kitchen, it has not been cleaned for a while.
The sliding screen door to the deck needs to be adjusted/repaired/replaced.
C/B tripped and did not reset
Protective cover is off hot tub receptacles
Drapes in master bedroom do not function
Water heater needs to be lowered to 120 degrees from 140.
The silverware, plates and glasses were not clean and the cups stuck to the surface. I think the problem is the dishwashing soap and/or dishwasher. During our first wash, we found the foil container in tact at the bottom of the dishwasher.
The American Flag in the front is weathered and does not represent our country in the way that it should.
Cushions in kitchen need to be replaced.
Please consider these remarks as helpful hints in a positive way.
Overall, our family truly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. Many stories were told and memories relived as we sat before the fireplace with a glass of wine and the love of family. Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

My friends and I stayed here when we traveled to Lakeland for our childhood friend's wedding. This property was perfect for us! There were 4 adults (2 single people and a couple) and we had plenty of room. The unit and rooms are very spacious, and everything was very clean. These also have to be the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a rental property! The unit is located in walking distance of so many things from cute coffee shops to retail stores, to a scenic lake and park. We were just a 5 minute drive away from all things we did wedding related. There are some standard city noises such as a train and the occasional siren (police and fire departments close by) but it was minimal and we didn't find the noise to be disruptive or bothersome. This property could not have been a more convenient, comfortable place for us! We would definitely stay again if we returned to Lakeland.

We had a fun family weekend. The home is large and the layout was perfect for our family (kids & grandkids). There is some room for improvement; the kitchen is under stocked with pots & pans, etc. And what they do have need to be replaced. And we found the master bed to be very uncomfortable and the room cold, compared to the rest of the home. Keeping the door open to the main living room helps. but then there is no privacy. We still had a great time!

This is our third year staying here. It is the perfect family destination in Massanutten. Look no further…unless you are looking at my week here, which in that case we will have to fight over it, ha!

This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for the 14 of us that visited. It's a great location and is close to all of the Massanutten amenities. We had a great experience and would absolutely visit again.

Property was advertised and was an excellent spot for a large group. Great room with huge windows was the perfect place to visit and catch up with friends as was the very functional kitchen and large dining table. Two different rec areas with games are great for relaxing fun, and the hot tub is perfect; fits four easily and could fit more. All-in-all a great spot that I definitely recommend.

Wonderful lodge style home! 3 floors and plenty of places to spread out and enjoy with a large family. Loved the back patio deck space, hot tub, ping pong, corn hole & pool table! Couple of the beds were not so comfortable but had a great time in this lovely home.

The lodge was in excellent condition, clean and perfect for large groups. There were parts of the lodge that we did not get to use because it was so expansive. The games and amenities worked perfectly and were kept up to date. The setting was remote enough to be private but still able to access the local attractions quickly.

This is a very nice home. It is a bit of a drive once in the resort. It’s nestled in the woods, so there isn’t a view, but it’s a very relaxing setting. Although we encountered a few minor maintenance problems, this home is very well maintained overall. The sofa beds were poor, but the couches themselves were comfortable enough to sleep on. There is a lot of separate spaces so it’s nice for small groups to interact in different areas. We enjoyed the hot tub. Detailed instructions for the hot tub and heater/ac and fireplace remote controls would have been helpful. There are hefty fees for leaving any trash in your house when you check out and for things like not returning the pool pass, so beware if you have a large group that they know. The front door locks automatically so make sure you know the code or have it with you.

We had such an amazing time at Massanutten and Highgarden Lodge this past weekend. The house is large, well appointed, and the rooms are well spaced to provide rest and relaxation while others in the house are entertaining themselves with the pool table, foosball table, ping pong, games, hot tub, etc. We can't wait to go back!!

We loved staying here, the house was breathtaking and we enjoyed our stay. It was easy to get in contact with the rental company and they were extremely nice and easy to deal with. Looking forward to planning another trip sometime in the future.

Perfect mountain getaway that has it all
You get what you see on the pictures and then some. We enjoyed the outdoors, the indoors. A beautiful house that has it all to keep you and children entertained. The only minor criticism I’d make: the gas range and kitchen faucet should be updated.

Huge house with all the amenities
My family stayed here for 3 days as a Christmas vacation. The house was absolutely perfect! Plenty of room for all of us and the amenities were so much fun! We loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. Fun for the whole family.

My family had been looking forward to this vacation for almost 10 months and it did not disappoint. The Lodge was so spacious and comfortable that even with 14 people, (7 adults and 7 children), everyone was able to relax and enjoy each other's company or breakaway for some quite time. The house was immaculate (it is easy to notice when you are on the ground with 2 crawling infants) and surprisingly soundproof, which was essential for when children needed naps and early bedtimes and the adults were staying up to hangout. We had a blast exploring the resort and local area, but really, the house made the vacation. We cannot wait to get back and are already planning our next trip!

Cable TV upstairs didn't work. Hot tub malfunctioning (102 or cold), the top floor was very warm - HVAC unable to keep up in summer, HVAC in basement very loud - made rec room not fun to use, the terrain is a giant hill - if you have mobility issues this one isn't for you. On last day we discovered a giant Timber Rattlesnake on the back porch! They sent exterminators who tried to catch it but it was too big. It disappeared behind the rock wall and flower box. Suckers head was as big as my palm...we gave pics. Be careful!

This property really does have it all. The cabin is immaculate and amazing. On nice days, I spent most of my time on the secluded and peaceful patio watching the deer and chipmunks. If it rains, there is plenty to do inside. The property manager was incredibly responsive. I ran out of propane; Mary immediately responded to my text and had someone deliver a replacement tank within an hour. I loved everything about my stay.
