Exceptional

The house is very well kept, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. Very accommodating, especially for our little ones. It was definitely a home away from home 😊

The main bed was comfortable but a little creaky.

Very good

The accommodation was very spacious and well equipped, with any kitchen gadgets you may possibly need. Lounge has large comfortable sofas and recliner chairs. Strong WiFi. Good hot shower (over bath) though bathroom downstairs. Comfortable bed (only used main bedroom as only two of us). We had a lovely welcome basket of goodies, including milk and juice waiting for us on arrival. Great location, 5 minutes walk down to the local beach and small harbour. Ideal base for us to explore in all directions including Lossiemouth, Nairn, Forres, Cawdor castle and fort George.

The downstairs bathroom may be an issue for anyone who needs the loo overnight.

Great base and host has thought of everything for young families.

Location is great for what we needed, close to family and a great little beach. Lots of facilities available in the house, especially for young families. Garden area a bonus.

Beds aren’t very comfortable. Mattresses could do with upgrading. One bathroom wouldn’t be great if 6 adults were sharing the house.

Lovely cosy property with everything you could ask for.

The host left lots of complimentary essentials in kitchen and bathroom. The weather was chly but the house was very warm and comfortable. Fantastic recliners for everyone in the sitting room. Smart TV with.Netflix.

The location is a little further up the village from the beach. One bathroom is awkward for 6 adullts.

Lovely welcoming and comfortable accommodation which we would happily book again

Very comfortable, very well equipped. A very thoughtful welcome pack, and lots of useful information about the area

A second bathroom would have been a bonus, and as we we’re staying with elderly parents, a rail to assist with getting into the shower (over the bath) would have been helpful

Home from home

House was a perfect base for us. There was everything you could need and more. We visited with 4 adults and a child, plenty of room for everyone and having the garden was a great bonus.

House was great. A second bathroom/toilet would be ideal.

Short walk to the coast, comfortable living room for hanging out with family, good stay.

Very comfortable place which felt like home, all the things you could possibly want in the kitchen so cooking for a family it easy (except maybe oven trays).

The sheets were very cheap, and I found them too scratchy to have next to my skin. I had some fleece bankets in the car I used but other places use hotel style linen which I would have preferred.

brilliant house, beautiful village and excellent hosts.

host were brilliant and friendly, and accommodated our booking on the same day with a wonderful welcome hamper. the house was a really good size and extremely well appointed, with everything you could need. would highly recommend.

Lovely clean and well-equipped house for a relaxing family stay close to the beach.

Comfortable, spacious house with everything provided that you could need for a family holiday. Very well equipped kitchen. We loved the comfy reclining sofa and chairs in the lounge. Spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage. Lovely private little back garden with lots of trees and birds. Sea views from upstairs. Very clean.

An extra bathroom or just a separate toilet would really improve this property.

Great facilities, comfort and host make it a cut-above the usual self-catering house.

We paid a little more than usual for a week here. I thought that was because of Covid; turns out it was because it is a whole level above anywhere we're stayed before. Likes - air frier, George Foreman grill, coffee maker, reclining seats, nice lighting over dinner table, spacious rooms, lovely garden, food and drink provided... it just goes on and on. Just before travelling up I asked if we could arrive early - no problem. Our host even messaged me to say we could stay later on our final day if we wanted.

Really having to be picky here, but I'd say the dishwasher isn't great, a few things needed to be handwashed coming out of it, and the bath flexed a little alarmingly when I stood in the shower (I'm a big guy). Those are the only negatives I can think of - in fact we were so comfortable that it was hard to get out for a day's activities each morning!

Can’t praise it enough. Super friendly and helpful owners. Well equipped and it was lovely to find a range of supplies provided. Would love to visit again
