Whisper quiet location very relaxing and beautiful grounds - caring and friendly staff

Breakfast was fresh with plenty of options. Excellent service from Mariella and Pina, they went above and beyond and were friendly and helpful. We had the eggs and bacon and fruit and yoghurt which were delicious.

Bij de receptie bij het inchecken hadden we al een de balen ervan met de brief met regels die we meekregen.

Mooi opgezet, lekker zwembad.

Dat je niet je eigen eten mag eten, en dat het ontbijt a la carte is, en maar tot half 10. Het zwembad is open tot 18.30 wat erg vroeg is op hete dagen. En dat je ‘s avonds na 10 uur niets meer kan halen qua eten en drinken.

Joli jardin avec magnifiques piscines et bien entretenus. Personnel très à l'écoute et très aimable

Manque d'une petite bouilloire. Le restaurant fermé et pas possible de manger sur le site. Restaurant au village ouverts que le soir.Petit frigo bruyant et déjà rempli.

A great place to recharge your batteries. Peaceful clean and comfortable.

The grounds were immaculate spotlessly clean and well kept.The rooms were comfortable and clean and everything worked. Very quiet a good place to charge ones batteries.

The facilities were limited, beside the lovely pools, there was little else.The bar closed at 7.00pm and the advertised restaurant was no longer operational.

Splendid!

This is a SPLENDID place to spend a holiday. The breakfast 'a la carte' was the best of Sicily & the dinner was equally superb. We want to mention PINA, the nicest and most efficient waitress we have ever met. We were sad to leave and advice everyone travelling in the vicinity of Etna to spend a few days there!

The reclining seats around the pool are old and not comfortable! I would advice you to buy new ones, because it's such a great play to stay!

Alcantara resort di Charme is a quiet residence near Taormina, mount Etna or even Catania,

The resort keeps its promises. Nice rooms, nice settings, very friendly personnel.

A bit more authenticity in the food would be welcome, but this is a personal matter.

if you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday this is a nice place to be

Simona was amazing and very helpful. everyone at this resort is very helpful happy and ready to make your stay an occasion to remember. they have my birthday morning very special also!

location, you will need a car for your duration in this hotel and from airport. since the hotel is not near the other tourist location not many options available. Private transfers can be very expensive to add.

The resort is very nicely designed with a great pool area. The staff is very friendly! The rooms are spacious. We had a ground floor room with a nice little terrace.

The only thing that we were missing is a tea/coffee facility in the room.

The is very customer oriented. The friendliness and helpfulness of Pina and Simona who really want to make you feel home. Family like run property.

The location, price-quality, no small children…but the most important part: the staff. They can make or break it…but definitely made it. And meeting Pina made our stay !

It was good, nice clean rooms, relaxing pool environment, great service from the staff.

Breakfast was good. The service was great, the ladies serving during breakfast, at the pool and during dinner were super friendly, especially Pina. Pina did service with a smile all day long.

No lunch being served, that was somewhat disappointing. Dinner was expensive.

very well manicured site with plush grounds and inviting pool. very accessible from Taormina (20 mins drive)and Giardini Naxos. Staff were excellent and truly pleasant and dedicated. very friendly and approachable. Several nearby picturesque attractions.

Pool closed at 6.30pm due to chlorination cycle. This is too early. Dining area outside could be improved. Breakfast menu could be varied a bit more.

An lovely and elegant experience

We spent 4 great days at beautiful Alcantara Resort di Charme and we honestly struggled to leave! Since we arrived we were treated with the upmost kindness and friendliness. We were escorted to our room and showed around the premises, and they even allowed us a quick dip in the swimming pool "outside the hours" as we had had a very long trip, also offering us welcome drinks. Our room was large and comfortable, with a private terrace looking on the erupting Mount Etna. Breakfast was included, very abundant and very tasty. The staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful and always ready to accommodate some small requests: my husband had to work one morning so we asked if they could delay tidying up our room to the afternoon. Also, when I asked if I could please have a dress ironed, they made sure they did it asap and brought it back to our room for me to find when I got back. On the night we arrived we dined at the resort’s restaurant and both service and food were great. The resort is located very conveniently, 10 minutes drive from Giardini - Naxos, about 20 minutes drive from Taormina and Alcantara Gorges River Park.

Amazing stay

It is a very small location with only 20 rooms/ apartments. They had amazing staff who were personal and professional at the same time. The facilities and the restaurant were great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Charming Resort

Feels like family. It is so nice to stay in smaller resorts. Placed directly in nature and the beach only a view minutes car drive away. The personal was extraordinarily sweet and the dinner was our highlight, one of the best meals we got to enjoy in Sicily. Can warmly recommend ❤️

A little piece of paradise

Alexandro can speak dutch and is more than welcome to give good tips on how to discover the area. For our honeymoon we got a room with a very nice view on the Etna and received a bottle of wine and a welcome's drink. We loved our stay in this little piece of paradise. We recommend taking the 4 course dinner, as the food was amazing!
