Ok to stay.

Room was clean and big

The shower was located in a bad place,after taking a shower, the water was everywhere in the bathroom.

Architecturally stunning

What a stunning building, but overrated in our opinion. The location is great - just off the ring road - and the rooms are comfy enough. We dined at the restaurant one night - food was okay, service lacking. Breakfast was good.

Service was a bit lacking - expected more given the price of rooms.

Overall a good stay, but with a couple of suggestions for improvement

The location and the overall design of the hotel.

I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temperature of the room. Also, I would have liked a light sheet to cover me rather than a comforter that would have been too hot for me.

Wonderful!

I loved this hotel! The breakfast was phenomenal - so many choices and all of them delicious. The location is great, just 20 minutes from the Glacier Lagoon. The decorations and facilities are beautiful and modern. This was one of my favorite places I stayed at during my Iceland trip.

Gorgeous, modern accommodation with phenomenal breakfast

Location, aesthetic, food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent, spas

Seems every accommodation in Iceland was very warm, perhaps it’s a challenge of shoulder season, but it makes sleep more difficult (even with the window open and fan on).

Beautiful property. Great service.

The hotel amenity is great. Big and comfortable room. Hot tub on the balcony is great. Hotel provided "Northern Light Wake Up Call". Dinner at the hotel restaurant is wonderful, though of course a bit pricy.

Wish the price could be more friendly.

Klasse Hotel mit Spa und wunderschönen Zimmern

Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und gemütlich eingerichtet, das Frühstücksbuffet hat alles was man sich wünscht! Im Allgemeinen eines der besten Hotels auf unserer Reise durch Island. Auch die Lage ist top! Auch der Spa Bereich mit 2 Hot Tubs und Sauna ist super!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit bequemen Betten

Sehr gemütliche Betten, großzügige Zimmer und Dusche mit gutem und heißen Strahl. Supersache: Weckservice für Polarlichter. Auf Wunsch wird man telefonisch kontaktiert, wenn Polarlichter zu sehen sind.

Good but let down on bed allocation

Exceptional breakfast

I requested a double and a twin room but we were provided with two doubles. As the twin was for our two grown up daughters this was not ideal and this request should have been actioned.

Just because there was no other alternative

Not much, actually. It was the most expansive hotels of our stay and one of the worst.

The price, far to expansive with breakfast not included; the food which was both pricey and average; the staff who was not friendly; the bedrooms that were extremely disappointing t’aliéna the price into account (view on the parking lot, uncomfortable mattress…).

Friendly staff, nice restaurant, be sure to make a reservation. Great location to go to after spending the day at the Glacier lagoon.

Needed more lighting in the bathroom but not a big deal.

location and views were great. small spa area but it was nice. wish the other hot tub was up and running but still enjoyed relaxing with a view after a long day. dinner at restaurant was good although expensive and had to wait a very long time for dessert and the bill (most of our party had to leave to go to bed while others still waiting for dessert). Breakfast was delicious!!!

great place to stay to feel pampered but food expensive

very nice decor, the rooms were nice and came with bathrobe’s and slippers for spa/sauna area. they have a option to wake you if the aurora are visible which was awesome. dinner was amazing and breakfast just expensive.

spa was out of action which was unfortunate as was the main reason for booking, was very expensive for food and drinks but the quality was excellent
