About this apartment rental

2 bedrom tastefully furnished living space adjoined to our home is clean and comfortable. You will have your own private entrance. Quiet neighborhood conveniently located just 1 block from Bellevue Ave., you will be in walking distance to Cliff Walk, beach, dining, shopping, and harbor front. We are a stone's throw from The International Tennis Hall of Fame and less than a mile from most of the mansions. This lovely apartment includes washer and dryer, has two bedrooms (1 queen bed and 1 full with adjustable base), 1 bathroom, living room, and kitchenette equipped with all conveniences. Bathroom shower is newly redone with glass doors and detachable shower head. Off street parking for one car is provided and three air conditioners will keep you comfortable. It is a second and third floor area but easily accessible with electric stair chair. The yard is available with table, chairs, and small charcoal grill. And, we have a lovely small fishpond with koi! Our visitors have been giving us high marks for the great location plus overall cleanliness and comfort of our property. Please check us out!

This was a great place for our family to stay! It was a great location and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. The house was nice… very clean and they had everything we needed. Barbara was great to work with and was very helpful with recommendations on things to do!

We had a great stay and walked everywhere. Stop and shop supermarket, sushi and pizza place right around the corner where a big plus. Very quiet road with no through traffic. Would definitely recommend to stay with Barbara!

We really enjoyed this house and the location. We have family in Newport and the location was central to each family! The chair for the stairs made it so easy for my elderly mom to get to the second and third floors. Such a great feature with stairs! The owners were so nice and helpful with any requests! The house is quiet and on a very quiet street. Great house for a small family!!

Reality lived up to photos, description and previous reviews. Location was amazing — within walking distance to absolutely everything — and Barbara was a truly wonderful host. We will be back!

We absolutely loved this property for our first visit to Newport! We were traveling for the first time with our infant and this could not have been a better jumping off point for everything that Newport has to offer, with roughly 10 minute walks to all the sights and downtown. Look forward to staying with Barbara again on our next visit!

We have spent several weeks and long weekends in Newport and this house was one of the most comfortable and perfectly located. The space is very nice with everything you would need. The off street parking is extremely helpful. The location cannot be beat. It’s walking distance to town, the Cliff Walk, 1st Beach, and the mansions.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It looks so nice my in-laws thought we were staying in a hotel. It is incredibly clean and pretty, as well as in a very walkable location, with all the amenities you need for a great stay in newport! Thank you Barbara (who is truly so kind)!

Lots to do within walking distance. After spending nine hours in the car getting there the last thing we wanted to do was drive anywhere. Newport is very pedestrian friendly

Our stay was great at Newport. Our VRBO was perfect location for walking to Newport Harbor, beaches and cliff walk. The other part that was great about this location was the grocery store less then a block away.

Barbara was so easy to work with - she responded very quickly and provided super helpful info to make our stay perfect. Barbara’s apartment is beautiful, spotless, very quiet, and so comfy! We had plenty of space to relax and unwind after attending 3 days of Jazz Fest. Excellent location, quiet street, peaceful and very pretty back yard, too. We loved our stay. Thank you, Barbara. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a beautiful spacious property and the location was perfect. This place has charm and character and was comfortable for a party of 4. Easy walk to the cliffs and shopping. It was clean and the owner was sweet; She brought us fresh cut flowers. Love personal touches. When I return I will stay here again!

My family of 2 adults and 2 young adult children thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Newport and our stay at Barbara's. Barbara's place is one of those places that actually looks nicer in-person than in the photos. It is a 2-story set up above her garage with a separate entrance so you have a lot of privacy. Barbara greeted us when we arrived and also when we checked out. She is a very gracious hostess and was very flexible with out check-in and check-out time which we appreciated. And, her place is walkable to many of the things to see and do in Newport. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a couple or a small family. Two chairlifts come in very handy after a day of touring. Full kitchen is set up well and everything that you need is there. Every area has its own baseboard heating system and it is quick and effective. Very nice hosts who are next door in case you need assistance. Two shopping centers in close walking distance with super markets restaurants a CVS drugstore and two UPS stores A nail salon and much more. Great location.

Barbara was a great host, very accomodating in helping us to check in early so we could get to a funeral visitation on-time. Very much appreciated. Perfect location in beautiful Newport. Beautiful accomidations with comfortable beds. Off-street parking was a plus. Had a few more steps than we anticipated but, all in all, it's a great place to stay and a great host.

The apartment was great and in the perfect location allowing us to walk just about everywhere. There are stairlifts on the stairs which was a blessing for my 79 y.o. Mother who accompanied us. We had a great visit - thank you.

The apt is lovely! Perfect size for a group of 2-4. So close to downtown. Parking spot in driveway is very convenient. Barbara was a courteous host and even left a mason jar of fresh flowers on the counter for us. So sweet! Water pressure in the shower could be better but it didn’t detract from my stay.

My husband and I recently enjoyed our stay here. As frequent visitors to Newport, we have agreed we will certainly stay here again. The property was immaculately clean, very well decorated and full or personal touches. From the vase of fresh cut flowers, to the fluffy bath towels and the warm greeting from Barbara upon arrival, it was like coming to visit relatives you haven't seen in a while.

We could not have had a better property or location. We could walk to all our activities in Newport, it was great property for all our needs! The off street parking was a great bonus. The lift chairs for each set of stairs was fantastic for my arthritis and I could save my energy/joints to walk around Newport with ease. We will be back.

Possibly the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in and the owner was lovely and responsive. Stayed here 3 nights as a group of 4 girlfriends. We loved the location, walked everywhere the whole weekend - restaurants, the cliff walk, grocery store, etc. Really perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommend Rhode Island Red Food Tours if you have an adult group looking for something fun and different to do.

My daughter and I stayed here for an extended weekend trip. The listing is very accurate, it is just as pictured. Barbara’s place is very convenient- walking distance to the Cliff Walk/mansions and also the wharfs/town/shopping/restaurants. The place is clean and homey, and Barbara and her husband are right next door if you were to need anything. Really couldn’t have asked for a better spot for exploring the Newport area. We would stay again if back in Newport.
