Beautiful area, beautiful sea view, the room was clean.

The sea view was breathtaking. The room is spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast was not fresh, it was stale. Bar fridge was very old and rusty.

Didn’t stay left after one night

It is unfortunate because the location and views are amazing. It seems the property operates on a 50/50 maintenance. The 1st floor rooms are well maintained and the the pool/ garden view not. What I experienced was disappointing. The toilet sit was moving not secured, load shedding means dark with minimal light. The bedroom so narrow you basically keep hurting yourself with the corners. You can hear your neighbors flushing toilet and showering.

The most comfortable holiday I've ever had!

Our stay at the accommodation was splendid.

I definitely loved everything except the breakfast such that I did not bother waking up for it the next day. Everything there is beautiful, the ocean view from our room was out of this world as one wakes up all one see is the ocean and the sound of the waves was great.

As I have said above the breakfast was horrible for me! the eggs were dry and the coffee could not even drink it. I must stress this, the fact that I did not like the breakfast doesn't mean that everyone did not like it! and it also doesn't mean that you reading this review will not like it, it just means that I did not enjoy it.

Good for the reason I went away for quiet.

Service at Breakfast was great. The English breakfast I had was good. The view is spectacular and it was really a breath of fresh air. I was upgraded to a sea view room, which was spectacular. I was in need of some relaxation and that is exactly what I got.

You can hear whatever goes on in the rooms next to me. So not soundproof. Carpets in the room.

Buyers remorse

For the price of R 2771.20. You would expect to at least have bottled water and not be forced to use tap water or having to drive out to the garage at night. The room is also like a dungeon with no view what so ever.

Fair, good experience

Breakfast was great👍😃 however the trees needs maintenance especially from the front/entrance. Place is peaceful and nice.

Amazing

Great location and will definitely be using Fairway Guest House for all my Durban trips going forward. Accommodation was amazing. The host was very warm and welcoming. Their breakfast is phenomenal. Really enjoyed the stay. The view from the room is so breathtaking.
