Situato in ottima posizione abbastanza vicino a Jafaa e a molti suk.

A very nice place. Well located - not very far from parking spots and main attractions of Marrakesh, in a calm neighbourhood. Increadibely caring and helpful stuff. Very good breakfasts with something different every day. Preaty and well organised rooms.
Everything was ok.

The Riad has a nice open space. The owner is friendly, breakfast was good. It is quiet , off the beaten track
It´s a bit far from the main square, and not easy to get to. The room was dark and the bed was basic

The host, Abdel, was excellent, polite, charming, helpful and has a lovely family.

A little hidden gem in the middle of the Media. Staff is going above and beyond to help you, always with a smile. The cooking is exceptional and I ended up eating there every night. Once you have found your sense of orientation all is good. The maps of Marrakesh are a lousy support and you get easyly list and thus an easy target for the hustlers. I used map.me after the 1stday and all was well. On my last day, theylet me use the room up til the end with no extra charge as my return flight was only in the early evening. Make sure you orderyour airport grandfer with them, any other driver will just drop you and it's still a little walk with no signs inside the Medina to get to the Riad. I wokld stay there again.

the road is very cute and the breakfast changed both of the days we stayed there.
the room was big and the bed comfortable.
the location of the road is around 20min to the main square, but you have some shops nearby.
breakfast is served from 8.30 till 10.30 and the last day we had to leave at 8.30. They served us the breakfast earlier so we could eat before. that was a very nice touch.
the bathroom stinks. it’s funny that we are in a country full of patchouli and incense, and there’s none in the bathroom to reduce the piping smell.
Theres few soaps, but they are not labelled so you don’t know which one is for what.
And, the toilet is covered with a plastic cover, that we found quite uncomfortable and unpleasant.
there was no pillow to sleep, only decorative cushions.
you can’t throw the toilet paper to the toilet, but to a basket next to it. it would be quite more hygienic if it was a bin with a cover.

Very helpful, the owner speaks fairly good English. Beautiful riad and rooms. Very peaceful.
Good central location, although some might find it hard to locate? Google Maps works fine for it, but the very narrow streets between high buildings can make GPS readings less accurate. But I suspect this applies to most riads in the Medina.
The simple doorway off the narrow street belies the beauty and serenity of the riad. It is lovely! Highly recommended.
None - apart from, perhaps, by the time we took a very late shower, others had finished the hot water.

The hospitality and kindness of the people!
we liked it all

This little riad gave our trip its calm notes. Every day after walking around the bustling town in the heat and noise, we couldn't wait to get back to the quiet space. Abdul, the owner and the rest of the staff made our stay friendly and comfortable. Food was exceptional, and service even more so, while the common patio was welcoming and cosy. Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, but really felt like home.
The neighborhood is not the best, but it is very central, so was easy to get around.

Check-in has already been an adventure, since the Townhouses/Riads in the Medina are not accessible by car, due to the very narrow passages between the housing facades. But, as soon as the taxi--which I took from the airport, right after arriving shortly after 10 PM---stopped at the intersection "Rue lamsouber", a couple of kids were running towards me and asked for the name of my designated Riad. This is not being done out of sheer courtesey, but for some kids an existential necessity, because they depend on the (10-20) Dls they are getting for that service.
Once I arrived close to 11 PM, I was cordially greeted and directed to my room at the basement/patio level with the entrance door facing the light-flooded patio.
Although I had booked breakfast only, the wonderful staff served snacks and tea several times at different hours.
Once I walked out for the major sightseeings of the medina, I aquainted myself with the surroundings and realized that there was a bus station near the double-arc entrance gate of the medina, so that I had chosen that bus station for my ensuing trip to the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira.
At night it was pretty chilly in Marrakesh, due to the elevation of that attractive city, but during the daytime it warmed up to 22 °C in the early part of March.
You need to be prepared to shower with relatively cold water, since that was the only water emerging from the mixer-type faucets. A TV in the general area would perhaps be a good idea, for those watching the news, etc.

Abdul and the staff are excellent! Breakfast is always good. Heater in the room works very well. Bed was comfortable enough. Even being on the first floor, it was quiet (guests were respectful). Walking to the Medina takes about 15 minutes. Hands down the best chicken Tajin we had! Greet the staff with a smile and they will always make your day brighter!
The riad is so inside a maze it would be hard to find it on your own. Best to ask for a pickup from your host so they can help you on your first day. It also rained hard on our first day so bedroom got flooded being on the ground floor. No problem bcz host moved us to a different room. They cleaned our room and we moved back again after one night.

Great and helpful host, excelent breakfast, beautiful riad.
I think it s the medina general issue of bad smell in the bathroom, but overall very good experience.
3.5
clean, good internet, traditional, kind staff.
not prepared for winter, poor breakfast, having breakfast outside (no other option) with temperature at 4C is unacceptable.

Breakfast was excellent and it varied every day.
We liked everything.

A little bit hard to find your way back to. Lots of winding lanes!

Very friendly owner and his lovely daughter.
I had a good stay, close to the center and easy to find. Safe to wak to Medina alone even at night.
I loved the Amlu for breakfast :)

the staff was super friendly and helpful, location is great - in between of 2 major streets and a bus and taxi station, the breakfast is relatively simple but very good, the riad overall has a nice ambience
some of the staff didn’t speak fluent English

Charming riad. Abdel couldn't be a more welcoming, gracious, helpful host if he tried. Atmosphere of the hotel was very calm, exactly what you want after the bustle of walking around the medina. Most free breakfasts that are included with hotels are pretty meager but Abdel and his team really make an effort to provide local treats--truly a full breakfast.

The staff was extremely helpful, going extra mile so we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was nice.
The Internet was very slow during the day, much faster during the night.

This Riad is so lovely. From the super helpful and gracious staff, to the adorable rooms and yummy breakfast. We enjoyed ourselves start to finish. just be sure to have them meet you when you arrive as it would have been hard to find alone. They will
meet you happily. But once you find it, it’s quite simple to get to a from the Souk’s and Medina. Great, great experience.

The staff was extremely kind and attentive. They spoke many languages and helped in everything. Our room and bathroom was clean and beautiful. The breakfasts were sweet and nice. We also had dinner once at the riad and it was the most delicious food that we ate in Marrakesh. I especially liked the rooftop, it was very cozy.

Riad Dar Mamouni is a bit hidden within the walls of the medina, but is a beautiful example of a small, traditional, cosy Moroccan hotel. We have experienced a very warm welcome, the host was very helpful but not intrusive at all. The building itself in very good condition with an absolutely wonderful breakfast room which is located in the inner courtyard where the tall date palm tree proudly grows. A large roof terrace with soft cushions is also for guests' use.
The only thing to improve, in my opinion, is the non-practical mirror above the sink in the bathroom, installed with the weird angle, but this is rather a small thing to complain of.
