Gut geführtes Hotel in traumhafter Strandlage mit herausragendem Restaurant imHaus.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar am Strand und das Zimmer verfügte über ein großes rundes Fenster, wie ein überdimensioniertes Bullauge, mit traumhaften Ausblick vom Bett auf das Meer. Guter Schafkomfort und unmittelbarer Zugang zum Restaurant " Wreck" - ein Restaurant der gehobenen Klasse mit tollem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Nice place to spend a night in Swakopmund.

It is a nice lodge on the beach. They serve a great breakfast. Staff is nice. Free parking.

What I did not like is that it is quite far from the Swakopmund center, you need to drive and in our room there was only one mirror in de bathroom. We were three women getting ready and we need more mirrors. I also got a glimpse of the room next door which was much nicer, as a Booking customer I always feel that I get the ok rooms and surely not the nicest rooms.

A lovely lodge - can't wait to return.

We have stayed in Swakopmund before and this time opted to stay a little out of town and so glad that we did. Quirky looking hotel with Fantastic uninterupted view of the sea literally on the doorstep. Lovely friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay even more special. Brilliant meals at the restaurant onsite - cannot wait to return here again soon!

Eventful but breezy

Clean and family oriented, the sea view is overlaid with grass that resembles putting greens at Augusta or Silver Lakes Golf Course. The staff are pleasant and the owner is humble.

Very poor

We booked a standard room. When we arrived we were taken into a dingy room just off reception. The only thing familiar was the view. We refused to stay there and were happy to forfeit our substantial deposit. We were then offered another room at R3000 more which we accepted after seeing the room. The upgraded room was at a totally different level. 5 star in comparison to the horrific room initially provided.

The rates were substantial, yet the standard room was of really poor quality. Upgraded rooms were recently renovated. A standard should be consistent throughout. Check-in was fine. The receptionist at checkout was transactional. No service etiquette. Security and cleaning staff were friendly and very helpful. Definitely not a return for us. Zero value for money if we accepted the initial room.

proximity to the restaurant. the room was spacious with a huge bathroom.

there was no aircon. however they provided a fan and a heater for that.

Great beach views from the room and balcony. Helpful staff and excellent seafood restaurant, Tge Wreck' on 3rd floor. Great value, highly recommend.

Everything was great. Other hotels can learn what Customer service is from here.I have never come across such helpful reception staff, the staff in the restaurant are also great. The facilities are clean, the view over the ocean from all sides is stunning. And the restaurant has very good quality food. Overall a great location and friendly helpful staff at good rates.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Outstanding view from the room and the restaurant, very delicious meals, clean facilities and friendly staff.

Distance to the city center of Swakopmund, but we didn´t mind at all.

Beautiful view in a calm and cozy location in Swakopmund, the stuff is really helpful. The room is big and comfortable.

I really disappointed because of the service on the breakfast. I ordered an option with a game steak and a lady asked me what kind of steak to cook. I chose medium-rare, but she served almost well-done.

Beach Lodge Swakopmund

The view of the beach, from the room, and from the restaurant, was great. I liked the design and decor. The restaurant staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Breakfast overlooking the beach was fantastic, and it was a peaceful location.

It's a little way out of town, and would be difficult to reach without a car. The TV could have more channels.

Definitely the place to stay and eat in Swakopmund

The hotel has an amazing architecture and is located right on the beach. It is a bit away from the center of Swakopmund but it really doesn't matter. We had a room with a view on the beach and a balcony and our bath room also had this amazing round window with the view on the beach. So you lay in the bath tub and watch the ocean. As often in Namibia, it is decorated with an impecable taste ! And don't eat any where else in Swakopmund (we tried :-((( ) than in their restaurant, the Wreck ! The view can't be better, the decoration and atmosphere of the restaurant is very elegant and the food was just perfect ! Excellent, beautifully presented and perfect service !
