Good breakfast.
Too impersonal with no landlord or landlady or staff who might've been there during the day.

We liked the area and closeness to the beach; the breakfast was exceptional with excellent service; the room was OK for us, though we were grateful for the cooler.
The only issue was accessing wifi which neither of us could get at full strength.

Great location, friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Early check out but can understand the reasoning for this. It’s a seaside town so can expect it to get busy in the summer months, lots of rooms to prepare for new guests.

The location was lovely. NOTHING else was
We booked a triple room on booking.com. When the first of the group arrived she was it was barely a double. And it was grubby, with cleaning items still in there on arrival. The owner was rude and unhelpful. We explained that 3 of us couldn’t fit and we’re told that it was our error. We couldn’t stay in the room as my friend felt unsafe after the owners ranting. (don’t stay there if you’re a woman travelling alone) booking.com said it’s clearly marked as a triple but despite this the owner took £256 in 6 x £25 withdrawals Although we didn’t stay I haven’t been able to get my money back

Clean, cosy rooms and delicious breakfast, we really enjoyed our stay!

Clean refurbished room that was quiet with nice toiletries and near the theatre. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked.
Room was very compact with little storage space. We were on the top floor and tv reception was very poor and kept breaking up and loosing signal. It was sometimes unwatchable. No reception or staff on site had to enter code on pad to enter building and collect key from inside allocated room.

Very clean and tidy. Everything you needed and good tea/ coffee facilities. Easy check in. Good location to beach.
Some of the other guests were noisy at times, especially in the evening when trying to sleep. Thin walls meant you could hear them talking and playing music.

Lovely, comfortable small hotel located in the theatre district. The location is great as the seafront is a couple of minutes walk and the town centre is about ten minutes. My room was nicely decorated and the coffee machine was a nice added bonus.
Nothing springs to mind.

The building and staff were helpful and friendly. It was near the beach too.
