Great place for a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful view of Savusavu bay and glorious sunsets from the large verandah. Great snorkelling just across the road.

We really enjoyed staying at Navure!
Martha was a great host. And her housekeeper Malti was fantastic. Both helped us with ideas about the area, cab drivers, restaurants, things to do, and most importantly hooked us up with the dive shop at the resort next door. (Jean-Michele Cousteau)
The house is in an excellent location. The snorkeling directly in front of the house is world class. (Especially Split Rock - just a short swim away). A short drive to town, and again next door to the resort. There are kayaks at the house available for use as well.
There are definitely some mosquitos, so bring your deet.
A/Cs in the bedrooms are very nice, as it does get warm especially in the afternoons. The second bedroom is not attached to the main house. Good to know if you have little ones.
We would definitely stay here again.

Location cannot be beat - sunset views are spectacular and only steps across the small street to the water. Martha and Arthur were amazing hosts, with great communication. The bedroom AC was clutch during the heat and the fans and windows screens allowed for good ventilation in the rest of the space. Would definitely stay again!

This house was just OK. It is in need of updating, such as the mattresses (no support!), the appliances; ESPECIALLY the very tiny stove/oven, and the screen doors. The location was good, with ocean access right across the street, with good snorkeling close by. The well kept grounds were especially nice.

Loved our time in Savusavu, and the location of property was a joy. A short, and tolerable, scenic drive into town for any convenience. Enjoyed the snorkeling directly in front of the cabin. Pro tip: go out at high tide as much easier to reach coral. Wish we spent more time at Split Rock! Only caught that in our way out. We did a snorkel tour to Natewa Bay, oh my! Incredible, next time we'll be mindful of more sunscreen.
The cabin met our requirements well. The housekeeper was delightful and met us on arrival and departure. Communication with Martha was great. We flew in/out of Labasa and had a rental car for the stay. The drive was a scenic 90 minutes. Be sure to visit the Vaudomo village waterfall, a pure Fiji experience!
I hope to cross paths again in Fiji. This was the perfect beginning of our couple weeks across Fiji.

This house is in an amazing location! Beautiful views, great snorkeling out front, beautiful flowers! Close to everything but not too close! We loved staying here!!! Highly recommend!!

A very convenient 1 night stay before checking into the resort next door. Right on the water and easy enough to arrange a taxi into town. Stunning sunset views, great reef for snorkelling.

We had a great stay and really appreciated the hosts Arthur and Martha and Malti who couldnt have been more helpful. Loved the snorkling available right outside the front door and also the peace.

The property was pretty much as described, although a little tired. It is in a nice spot overlooking the bay with western sunset views and good snorkelling across the road and especially just down the road at split rock. There are plenty of activities available in the area of savusavu and a range of restaraunts.
Be aware it is too far to walk into town. We caught the bus a few times but the the timetable didn't often work out for us, so often it involved a taxi.
We also didnt cook as much as planned - the kitchen is very basic and the lighting very poor - I think a light is missing in the kitchen. Also no functioning coffee making implement!! Inside sofas also need replacing.
The deck however is lovely and the tariff reasonable. A couple of visits to Natawa Bay for snorkelling were defs our highlights.

Not just your usual condo rental. They setup a driver to pick us up at the airport and the housekeeper was over the top helpful. For divers, the Costeau dive shop is easy walking distance for more great customer service and diving.
We would definitely rent again.

I feel in love with Fiji while staying in this home. The simplicity of life can be experienced here. The pictures on the website do this house no justice. We ate fruit that we picked on the plantation the house sits on. It was 80 degrees the whole time we where there and the cool showers were refreshing. I definitely recommend this house and the delightful hosts and the SavuSavu area in general.

Situated on a beautifully landscaped estate, this property is just across the road from the beach which has great snorkelling, plentiful of colourful corals and fish. There are two rooms with their own ensuite and the kitchen and living areas in the middle, making it ideal for two couples or a family with teenagers. Back to nature in a quiet part of Savusavu, beautiful walks by the beach or up in the hills, but it also has a tv and is just a 10 minute drive to town. We loved our stay here, thanks Martha and Arthur for sharing this beautiful spot with us!

We stayed for a month and found the location to work really well for us. The bus stop was just off the driveway, the snorkeling was great in the waters just in front of us, we could pick fresh fruit from the garden... The fridge was a good size, adequate pots and dishes for kitchen use. If there was a down side - we would have enjoyed more comfortable chairs and a table inside to sit at. The mosquitos were bothersome at times (outside), but the view was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Martha answered questions promptly and Malti took very good care of us, checking on us every day or two.

Great little place right across from the water. No complaints and will hopefully stay again. Thank you

Lovely house, though has taken a bit of a battering during Cyclone Winston. We could only use one of the showers as the other one floods the bathroom/bedroom due to the sloping floor.
And please make sure to let Martha know which airport you will be arriving at. We arrived at Labasa, expecting to be picked up only to find there was nobody there waiting for us. We had no internet on our phones, no contact numbers for Malti, who was supposed to be meeting us, and no address of the property. Thankfully there was very helpful taxi driver who allowed me to connect to his internet and I was able to get hold of Martha, who thought we were flying to Savusavu. Poor Malti had no idea what was happening either so she was waiting and waiting. The very helpful taxi driver drove us to Savusavu for $130FD. It caused a huge upset to us and our young children.
Thankfully, once we got to the house, met with the wonderful Malti, we settled in really well and we enjoyed an awesome holiday.

Wonderful location in Savusavu, loved the balcony views, especially sunset. Used the kayaks alot, checking out the corals and fish, and snorkelled at the nearby fabulous Split Rock. We hired a car, through James Carhire which was great for driving around the island, and commuting into town to buy supplies at the fresh food market. Highly recommend eating at the Surf and Turf Restaurant in town. We were unable to book at the Costeau Resort Restaurant, as there was no dinner availability for outsiders. Be aware the power can go off on Sundays for half a day. The use of a washing machine was also greatly appreciated.

Plenty of space, good amenities (wifi, laundry, etc), and great snorkeling right across the street. Awesome view to top it off.

The house is right next door to the Cousteau resort and protected reefs so you are literally steps from a lovely beach and world-class snorkeling. We were able to easily get back and forth from town using local taxis for less than $10 US round trip.
The house has an amazing deck that looks out over SavuSavu bay and is well shaded through most of the day. We ate most of our meals there.
We had 3 adults in the 2 bedrooms and a twin bed set up in the common living area for our 17 year old (neither bedroom was big enough to accommodate a second adult-sized bed).
Would stay here again!

very clean and comfortable ,great position, savusavu Bay is just over the road, for a swim or snorkel, Cousteau resort is a short walk ,the town and markets by taxi or bus, your hosts are close by, as Fijians say, no worry no hurry. Enjoy.

The host couple were willing to help with anything to make their guest’s holiday what the guest envisaged. The hosts are Savusavu experts, as it is their home.
The location… well it’s incomparable. “Off the beaten track” despite being merely a 1 hour 10 minute plane trip from Nadi. Hardly an effort! But worth a far greater effort!
Snorkelling is across the road, walking straight into the water. This is pretty luxurious, and didn’t disappoint. How easy is that?
In the house I particularly loved the bathroom (beautiful styling) and the deck. I spent every spare minute on the deck, looking at the view.
I was only there four nights, but I had several experiences that will stay in my mind forever.

Easy check in and nice house. We didn’t use the kitchen and laundry but seemed like it had all the needed supplies. Easy access to great snorkeling.

When we booked this property we were a little concerned it was approx 5 miles from the nearest grocery store but soon discovered the bus system was easy to figure out. The road we thought was dirt turned out to be paved. The property is on the only road to Jean Couteau's resort so there is quite a lot of car, taxis and delivery trucks but not really a problem. Savusavu Bay because of the reefs is super. Hardly any wave action so snorkeling and kayaking was terrific. Because we were staying long term we were concerned the property only had a small fridge but on arrival found it to be full sized. The 2 burner propane stove was a challenge being long term however.Martha and Arthur are great hosts for this property. We hope to see them again on our return visit.

From the time I reached out to after we left - the property owner communicated great. We had a few changes and she worked out new dates for us. Our arrival was easy as Malti was waiting for us. The property is in great condition, very clean and the wifi works great (hard to find in Savusavu!). There is a driveway for 2 cars and the kitchen is well stocked. We went to the market in town each day and cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner at the property. We ate outside on the deck each time. The water pressure works fantastic and there is a stereo system in the living room which we also used. The best part about the property is the view. The sun goes down right in front of you and it is so quite and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this property and will be staying again in the future. Thank you Malti and Martha for a wonderful stay. I look forward to my return. Jenn

This house is as described, directly in front of Savusavu Bay. Just the street to cross to be on the small beach. You can swim at high tide but not at low tide. Low tide is perfect for kids to play on the beach and look for crabs in the rocks. The kitchen is well equipped. There is hot water and electricity all the time. Buy bottled water or boil tap water. The 2nd bedroom is separated from the main house by 2-3 meters. If you have kids, consider bringing a baby monitor to to keep in touch at night! The nights and days are very quiet. There is 5 buses per day to go to Savusavu. It is very easy to go to the market, the supermarkets and restaurants in town. Jean-Michel Cousteau resort is just next door and very easy to go SCUBA diving with the dive center. The owner leaves very close and the caretaker, Malty, is very helpful if you need anything or have any questions.I would definitely go back.

Nice quiet location, located next to Cousteau resort. Accommodations are good, with air con in the master bedroom. The deck is a good place to relax while looking at the water. Good snorkeling right across the street. Kayaks also available. The housekeeper, Marti, is very nice and helpful.

Martha and Arthur are great hosts; they were friendly and responsive. Martha even drove us to/from the airport. Their rental is right across the road from Savusavu bay where we enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking. The view from the large deck is beautiful. The cottage show signs of wear and you must expect insects since it is island living. One note: if you're sweet, bring deet.
