Cooking pans in kitchen really need to be non stick

Fantastic size apartment, lovely modern bathroom, spotlessly clean.
Not the best view over the car park.

It’s in a very pretty location
The lack of assistance I use a wheelchair and the wheelchair parking was continually used by people with no permit and we had to walk long distances from the last available park I eventually belt staff know it was like bad luck nothing we can do no one checked in with us our entire week long stay we had run out of toilet paper and other necessities no cleaning products or vacuume for us to use no laundry facilities we stayed fit a week travelled from Australia to visit the area
While the pool was very nice and my husband enjoyed his birthday massage I bought him
The place lacked any personal touch very clinical hospital like

Views of Lake we're amazing.
Size of apartment was great.
Facilities on site were lovely and met our needs
Iron leaked and didn't function properly.
No wooden utensils for cooking.
No blankets or extra bedding layers.
Cobwebs on light over dining table.
Unclear when booking that spa6 access was an additional charge.
Bed very uncomfortable.
No salt left.
Welcome pack of basics should include things like fresh milk, butter, oil etc.
No conditioner in bathroom and very difficult to get gel out of dispenser
Pair of someone else's shorts on carpet behind chair.

Beautiful place, no faults
Only the weather

Well kept, welcoming and everything catered for. Beautiful views.
Noise of chairs and tables being moved about in other rooms, kids running up and down corridors. Sometimes went on for ages

We had a meal in the restaurant the service was very good as was the food . We had breakfast each morning it was very good value there was a lot of choices.
I think the only thing I did not like was on both mornings at breakfast I had to go looking for a knife .
8.0
Fully equipped kitchen and easy check in/out.
The door stoppers are so flat and worn out that it is difficult to prop the doors open.

Great location, beautiful views, very resourceful apartment and spacious. Has everything you need. Breakfast at a discounted price.
Was told that the apartment does not get a daily clean. That’s was surprising for the rate paid for two nights.

We got upgrade to a family room from a studio apartment. The beds were so comfortable, beautiful views from the bedroom. The food was delicious from the Brasserie restaurant. And most of all, every single member of staff we spoke to from reception desk to restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating and went out of their way for us

Quiet and local to Cirencester
The apartment was cold. Radiators were not on. Had to leave and hunker down in a pub to stay warm

Breakfast offering was good. Surroundings and location excellent.
The room needs an update as lots of things were old and broken. There should be an option to specify if the room faces the lake or not. When I booked, there was no mention but I assumed it faced the lake due to the pictures I was shown. It did not and there was no option to change that.

The shower was fitted above the bath and there was no flexible hose. This meant that you could wash your hair easily but not your body.

The property exceeded our expectations! it was more than enough space for all of us and very well maintained.
Our apartment was on the ground floor therefore we could hear footsteps from above across the wooden floors

A prime location in the Cotswolds set on a lake with superb views. Main hotel building well presented and room was comfortable. Lots of parking also available and walking routes with a detailed map provided as well
Whilst the main hotel was well presented the block we were in felt like a retirement home and had a strange smell in the hallways. Breakfast and Dinner were both average at most despite the stunning lake views from the restaurant. Two major issues.... first on both days at 5pm the fire alarm went off! this was a high pitched noise and went off for over ten minutes. On the second day we didn't bother leaving our room and no one knocked on our door to check on us. Also no mention of a fire drill or apology for the alarm....two days running was unacceptable. Secondly as it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary I arrange a flower delivery with concierge the week prior to our stay. When the flowers turned up there was no effort to deliver them to our room or at least contact us, and when I asked for them at reception they couldn't find the package. Other hotels would've made more of an effort to go the extra mile and make it memorable.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Two of three lights in the bathroom were not working. Also there was a loud noise coming from the inside the air vent in the bathroom occurring throughout the day and night. Sounded like something being refilled. Very annoying.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. And the swans on the lake outside looked beautiful.
9.0
The space, the balcony, the location and setting
The sofa was a bit stained in the room.
The fact that we had kids of 9 and 16 and we couldn’t use the pool without booking treatments!
We payed £512 for 2 nights this should be standard considering we were only using the hotel as a base to sleep and eat at the end of the day.
5.0
The room was good and the location was excellant.
We were informed on arrival we could not use the pool as this was for SPA guests only. This is not recorded on your website and was not explained to us before purchase.
I was shocked at the fact there was an additional charge for basic room service like change of towels and bedding - this is nothing short of being outrageous and again this should be mentioned pre-booking.
We brought our dog with us and dined in the Boathouse Restaurant on our first night. We were ushered into a booth hid at the back instead of having access to the view of the lake as were other guests. This was disrespectful especially as we paid the same for our menu as everyone else, but were not afforded the same experience.
As such we never used any of the De Vere facilities for the remainder of our stay.
As a result of this we will never return to a De Vere owned hotel and if asked to comment on what we thought to prospective customers will give an honest opinion.

The location was superb. The spa treatment was amazing and a lovely treat, the gym was well equipped and very clean. We booked all treatments and gym sessions in advance so no disappointment on availability. Only grumble was we requested a lake view and didn’t get one, however staff were really apologetic and did try to swap things around but couldn’t. Lots of wasps on balcony when we tried to eat al fresco which drove me around the bend. Apart from that the apartment and location was great. I would recommend for couples and anyone wishing to take their dogs. Great for long walks by the lakes, and day trips to beautiful surrounding areas!

Location was great and apartment was lovely and
spacious.
Shame we couldn’t book a slot to use the pool. Bit
restricting that you can only book a slot if you book a
a spa treatment.
