Very good

Excellent and very welcome. The stay offered a tranquil opportunity to dwell in my thoughts and admire the beautiful gardens.
I benefited from the whole aspect.
4.1
Staff: very friendly and helpful porters
Room and Facilities: spacious room although the shared room is not as spacious, plenty of storage including drawers and wide windowsill, a large desk and even a coffee table and armchair, sockets next to bed
And it is a college room after all
In-room taps have very narrow water flows.

Breakfast was good and room size is massive and comfortable bed
the grounds were lovely and felt like a student
staff were very friendly and very informative of the area
floors squeak a bit but didn't put us off and a few people shouting after hours but this was outside the college and not their fault in anyway
4.1
Excellent choice. Good service
We could have had rooms closer together.

The Breakfast was well worth every penny. Superb. The staff were all friendly. A peaceful and beautiful college.
The bathroom, which was shared, was ok and basic. It was probably the least appealing aspect. However there was a vanity sink in the room hidden in a cupboard. A useful discovery which I wish I’d known about. Great for cleaning tea mug, kettle and washing hands etc.
You do have to lug your bags up the steps. As I’d recently damaged my hand it was more tricky for me than it might have been.

once we rejected the first room which was both not en-suite and small the helpful staff found another and this was excellent. Fabulous breakfast.
Having initially been allocated a room that did not meet the description

I love the concept of these kinds of places (essentially student dorms where the rooms are rented out to tourists outside of the school term). This of course means that what you get is very basic, but I simply needed a bed and a shower after a concert and I got this, along with a quiet night's sleep, lovely gardens/surroundings, super location and very friendly staff.

The accommodation in new block 4 was modern, clean and spacious with a large en suite bathroom. The cooked breakfast was adequate but could have been hotter. The accommodation was well situated for the city centre with good on-site facilities. In fact there was nothing to not like and we would highly recommend it.
The staircase 4 to the new block was a hazard if you didn’t take extra care.

The location is great and the setting is incredible. The bar is very nice. The building at rear was designed by the famous British architect Denys Lasdun in a brutalist style.
Single bed was too narrow. The furniture and bathrooms are a bit outdated. Wi-fi instructions complicated. Nice staff although not overly friendly.

best for students, but not if you like luxury

Very easy to book in and very convenient for the city centre

Very well located in central Cambridge. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. All very easy and excellent value for money. Also conveniently located near the Grand Arcade Car Park if you need somewhere to park the car overnight.
There was some condensation off a conduit in my room (I think) that resulted in a leak onto my jacket overnight. No real damage done but stopped a 10/10, just bad luck though I suspect!

beautiful gardens and great location

The College is beautiful and very well located. The rooms are modern and, for student accommodation, spacious and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and polite.
Wednesday night is club night. The room backed onto a street which was noisy and had revellers behaving loudly in the middle of the night. I had a disturbed night's sleep, which wasn't great when I had travelled for work.
