An extremely comfortable place to stay with very high standards.

The room and bathroom were beautiful and extremely generously equipped. There was a minibar with a complementary gin and tonic. Pat provided a delicious breakfast of scramble eggs, smoked salmon and avocado. Everything was of very high quality and thoughtfully arranged. Pat was a very generous and welcoming host.

Extraordinarily good experience in every respect, but especially the delightful owner Pat.

Beautiful house, operated by a simply delightful lady. I liked everything about the stay, the bedroom, the bathroom, the incredible breakfast, but the very best part of the experience was the incredibly pleasant Pat! She is thoughtful and detailed about everything about her wonderful business. She is also a great conversationalist. You won’t want to stay in a hotel again after visiting College View

Excellent

It exceeded our expectations. A delightful property which was fitted to the highest standards. The large double room was resplendent and included a fridge with complimentary drinks. The host was most welcoming and charming.

Wonderful house, fabulous location, 5 star +++

Everything from start to finish was just fabulous for my colleagues who stayed at College View. Pat made the boys drinks and cooked them breakfast, they were SO impressed. We will definitely book again and again, this place is just wonderful.

Beautiful place to stay, enhanced by a great host

College View reached very high standards in all aspects during our stay and this was due to the kindness and attentive nature of its host Pat. Our circumstances changed just before our visit and she was kind, considerate and understanding in solving our problem. A beautiful place to stay is made even better by an wonderful host. Thank you

Pat was a wonderful host, we were made to feel so welcome. Beautifully presented room with so many complimentary items - G&Ts in the fridge, bottled water, toothbrushes, quality toiletries, and fresh milk. Couldn't finish my excellent breakfast, not just filling but high quality ingredients. 10 out of 10 without hesitation.

Exceptional

One of the nicest experiences I’ve had in a while. The hosts were wonderful and shared some interesting stories. They cooked us an amazing breakfast and even helped us with planning our day and showing us around. The room was very nice and had everything we wanted and more. The location was close to both the town center and the train station. Overall, it was much better than I anticipated and if I ever return to this area, I’d love to stay again.

Our amazing visit to Cheltenham

The whole experience of staying with Pat and her son Peter was outstanding. Amazing hospitality from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. We were even greeted with a glass of prosecco and we even got a lift to the railway station and into town by Peter and he advised us which pubs to visit during our stay. The room was exceptional and all the little extras in the room were greatly appreciated. The bed was lovely and soft and the shower and bathroom were amazing, and all the toiletries on offer were great. Lovely selection of tea and coffee and even gin and tonics and water in the mini fridge in our room. The garden area was very private and inviting and we will DEFINATELY be visiting again soon. Thank you Pat and Peter you are amazing.

Everything was absolutely sensational. Pat is the perfect host. We were greeted with a warm welcome, a glass of Prosecco and jug of pimms! Very modern and comfortable room. Massive bathroom. The best breakfast we have ever had and the best B&B ever. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Exceptional accommodation and host

The accommodation certainly lived up to the great reviews. Pat was a warm and welcoming host, with good suggestions of places to visit. The location was great, and I was able to leave my car there and walk into Cheltenham. The room was spotlessly clean, with a great range of toiletries, teas and coffee, and snacks. There was a silent fridge with fresh milk in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the location is quiet, in spite of being a short walk to the town centre. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and would stay there again.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was exceptional. Pat was beyond wonderful and made us so welcome. Nothing fell short. Down to every detail, it was perfect. We sat and had breakfast in the morning, and it was lovely. We were offered a drink on arrival and had complimentary drinks in the room. It was clean and only a short walk from the centre. Thanks Pat and we will be back! Would recommend to anyone.

A stay to never forget

Everything. Upon arrival we were greated by our host Pat, who was incredibly nice and showed us our gorgeous room before inviting us to join her for a glass of pimms. Whilst enjoying our pimms Pat told us about Cheltenham and herself aswell as giving us some home made carrot cake. This was incredibly homely and automatically made us feel welcome in her residence, as well as giving us a lovely start to our trip. The breakfast in the morning was unlike any hotel, as we were greated with continental breakfast before receiving our smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, yet it was in an incredibly warming and homely fashion. She had even layed the table beautifully, better than most hotels. I would recommend college view to anyone and everyone that visits Cheltenham and hope to return ourselfs.

Second time staying at College View, and both times everything was exceptional. Superb rooms with all sorts of "extras", a very nice owner and the breakfasts are outstanding. Easy walking to the city centre.

Wonderful and unusual ‘round’ house - beautifully furnished and equipped. Pat was a wonderful and thoughtful host who had thought of every little detail. Fantastic and generous breakfast. Everything was perfect and such a treat to stay at College View!

The place to stay for comfort and a great welcome in Cheltenham.

The accommodation is in a quiet street 10 minutes walk from all the eateries near Montpelier Gardens and not much more to the town centre facilities. It is not far to drive to the Cotswolds, to the racecourse and the preserved railway. The railway station is about 12 minutes walk and has trains to London, Birmingham, Bristol etc. We were made very welcome by the host who was keen to sure we had everything we needed inc. information on the locality. We had the ground floor room which was quite large, clean with a large comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was very large with large, efficient shower, bath, plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, face cloths and most things you could possibly need. Everywhere was very clean, comfortable and to a high quality. The wi-fi was excellent. There is off street parking available at the front of the house. The breakfast included a wide range of options, all of high quality. It's worth noting that although the building is quite modern it is to an interesting design which has some walls circular and some straight.

We could only stay one night!

Everything was terrific. Pat is an outstanding host. We were left wanting for nothing. Fresh fruit, milk, chocolates and biscuits. Every possible item you could need in the bathroom. Comfortable beds and a tasty, generous breakfast. We recommend staying with Pat. Our favourite B&B to date.

Our room at College View was brilliant. Good size, amazing bathroom, Pat had thought of all the bits and pieces you may need plus lots of lovely extras. The bed was super comfy and stand alone bath was a treat! Pat was a lovely host, chatty but not overbearing. Our breakfast was delicious and she catered for any requests we had. Easy parking and a short walk into town.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else if visiting Cheltenham.

Great host and very friendly was more than happy to help with recommendations of places to eat and visit and made some very good recommendations at that. The bathrooms are of high quality too with a big bath and walk in shower. The breakfast was also delicious with a nice big spread in the morning so very happy stay for us.

A magical winter stay

it doesn’t get better than this. Simple. My partner and I were so taken by the property, the wonderful and kind-hearted host, Pat, and the countless added extras and thoughts that we even tried to get snowed in! the Vispring bed is stunning….best nights sleep in a long time. The bathroom is to DIE for. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented by our host who really makes you feel like you are part of her family but equally has the subtle ability to know when to let you alone and enjoy your private time. If we don’t return here again then at least we can say we have been once because, truly, this is a unique and wonderful place to stay.

Pat the host is so friendly and accommodating, it was a delight to have her company during our stay. The property is in a smart, central location and feels secure. The bedroom and bathroom are both generous sizes, modern and everything is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and we had a range of options to choose from.

In over thirty years of travelling this is the best bed and breakfast I have stayed at.

Friendly welcome. Convenient location. Room is very nicely designed and thoughtfully equipped. Bathroom is modern and included a wide range of toiletries. I was very pleasantly surprised by my visit. Pat is a tremendous hostess.
