"Tranquil Escape: Your Perfect Getaway Near Queenstown"

Wow! The views are totally amazing, and this retreat is like a hidden gem away from the busy vibes of Queenstown. Surrounded by nature, the garden here is just awesome, filled with colorful flowers and cool trees. It's got everything we could ask for and more! The hosts are super friendly and full of great tips for stuff to do in Queenstown. Plus, their pets are just the cutest little buddies ever! They made sure we had everything we have in terms of food. Just loved chitchatting with them. Would love to visit again!

Everything is perfect, it’s just that lounge area and kitchen is shared. It might get uncomfortable if accompanied by messy family!!

We lived in Queenstown for 15 years..when we visited we wanted a venue that was quiet and comfortable. That’s exactly what we got.

Paradies - abseits des Trubels in Queenstown

Was für eine schöne Unterkunft ! Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, eigenes Bad und Toilette. Im Haus ist noch eine zweite Wohnung im ersten Stock. Diese war nicht belegt, so hatten wir das ganze Haus „für uns“ . Durch die großzügige Gestaltung des Anwesens wäre aber die Belegung der zweiten Wohnung kein Problem. Die große Küche, das große Wohnzimmer, die Terrasse hätte mehrere Personen gut ausgehalten. Waschmaschine/Wäschetrockner konnten wir auch nutzen. Großes BBQ ist auch vorhanden. Angenehm und unterhaltsam waren auch die Gespräche mit unserem Host Tim. Danke nochmals für die Tipps zu Milford Sound, The Remarkables und Glenorchy. Die Lage etwas abseits vom Trubel in Queenstown ist ebenfalls angenehm. In der Mountain View Lodge wären wir gerne länger geblieben.

A cozy, restful, mountain hideout with lots for the kids and a great kitchen.

Gorgeous private location with expansive views, extremely comfortable (the house is cozy, well heated, well built, not drafty). Loads of space, toys for the kids, full kitchen, and lots of space to walk and play outside (even a playhouse!). Warm, generous and accommodating hosts.

Owner was very calculative. Please take note that this rental is not for the entire apartment, its just partial of the apartment and you have to share common entrance and toilet and kitchen and laundry room. I had one extra kid that travel with me and the owner charged us additional nzd 65 per day per night when theres no extra bed given. Super calculative oldmen. The room given was right next to a laundry and dryer and you can hear sound all night. Also the room can only fit one single bed super small If you are planning to have a nightmare in queenstown Moutain lodge is the way to go.

Very poor value for the down stairs booking.

Owner was great, nice bloke. House itself seemed like it would be great for a single group booking. The view to the mountains is very nice. Kitchen seemed well equiped, bed was comfortabled. Wifi works well.

The house is split to try and accomodate 2 bookings, im my opinion it does not work, and offers VERY poor value for the down stairs accomodation. The information suggests that there should be a private bathroom, and while this is technically correct you have to cross a public hallway to get there, exposing you to the front door, and whoever is in the Kitchen, additionally the toilet is shared NOT private. There is basically no sound proofing, so anything happening in the kitchen or the top floor is heard by those staying on the ground floor. For our experience, we came to house later in the night after a dinner out to find the entire house stinking of pickled garlic or something, the other guests totally took over the kitchen and lounge room until after 1am. My wife and I had wished we had been better informed before booking this room and we would not stay there again in its current setup.

my flight was cancelled last minute and I managed to book a night at Mountain View Lodge. upon arrival I was greeted by

the property was clean, homey and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. it had exceptional mountain views with trees and birds just outside the window

The place was much more than we have expected! The view is amazing, the house is absolutely beautiful and big, great and equipped kitchen, a lot of outside seating areas, beautiful garden! And Matt was great to talk to and helped with everything! It’s a big house with several bedrooms to rent, but the room was very big and isolated.

Best place we have stayed so far.

This is an awesome place. Superb views, and the amenities are outstanding. Our room was spacious and felt like home. Tim was a gregarious host and provided great info for our trip. YOU won’t be disappointed.

For some it is far from town. For us it was perfect.
