Pleasant clean room in a good location

Great location, provided easy walk to center Quiet, courtyard view from the room Free parking on the street Good breakfast included and one could eat in the courtyard which was lovely

Shower was not warm enough, poor showerhead that ended up with you trying not to flood the floor. The bathroom was lovely and big but a silly shower! Very pricey....

Pleasant hotel, good value and old world charm

Lovely old school Sicilian hotel. Just stayed two nights before heading to airport. Well maintained with a lovely internal courtyard off dining room/restaurant and reception. Easy 15 minute walk to main tourist areas. All clean, very pleasant and good value which is why I've given a 9. Good sized room with large bathroom with quality fittings etc, very clean. Didn't expect an amazing breakfast as Italians don't do breakfast, but totally adequate and good coffee and pastries etc.

Very convenient location and good breakfast. Spacious room with a very comfortable bed.

A very pleasant stay at Katane Palace Hotel

It had everything we needed. A clean room of good size and a good breakfast every morning.

That the hotel doesn't have a swimming pool.

Great value for money hotel in Catania!

Perfect little oasis to escape the craziness and heat of Catania. Staff were great in helping us organise a €100 transfer to Ortigia. Provided extra towels when we needed. Breakfast bwas yum. Air conditioning was needed in the room when it was 35 degrees Celsius outside. 12pm checkout meant we could have a relaxed morning. Great value for money! I read reviews about the place looking dated or cracks in the walls in their room, but from what we saw the hotel looked completely fine and we had no problems in our room ☺️

The staff was very nice and helpful, they are all speaking English. The breakfast was great, you could choose from a huge variety. The room was also cleaned properly every day.

Just a small tip: if the room has a balcony, then you could put 2 chairs and maybe a little table on that.

The perfect stay for 2 nights in Catania

The hotel is very comfortable and calm. There were large groups staying, and they were managed in an orderly way, without impacting our stay. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, seating was available indoors or in the courtyard. The staff were courteous and helpful. Parking on site was available for 15€ a day. Check out was at 12, so we were able to have a slow start before our afternoon flight.

The hotel is away from the Cathedral and piazza, but still walking distance. Walk in the direction of Villa Bellini, then down Via Etnea - it’s a nicer walk and less seedy.

A nicely appointed hotel at a reasonable price.

A nice large room. Very friendly staff willing to help guests.

The room was too dark, even with all the lights on. Shower incorporated in the bathroom, and tended to flood the bathroom

Beautiful hotel in a central position with lovely staff.

Both the breakfast and the staff were fantastic. We were a group of 14 travelling from the U.K. to celebrate my. (Very big) birthday. I was promised a room with a balcony. I got a nice large room with no balcony and overlooking garages. As long as you didn’t open the curtains the room was lovely.

Good but walking distances long on poor surfaces and litter strewn streets.

Breakfast good with plenty of variety. Yea drinkers need help.

The recommendation for dinner was fantastic

We had a swarm of mosquitos in the room. We were only there for one night, noticed two before we went to bed but the room was filled in the morning. We had several bites on us and were killing them while getting ready in the morning. When we mentioned at check out we were just told there was bad weather...with a shrug.

Great value hotel

Staff was great, breakfast was good and outdoor dinning area was very nice.

Hotel could use a refresh. Paint on the walls was peeling in some places and power turns off when you leave the room so you can’t charge devices.
