The cottage was exactly what we wanted. A good size, all the amenities we needed (and more), our cottage was in a great position on the site with plenty of private outside space.
Because we were there for just a short time, we didn't have the opportunity to use the available facilities, e.g., spa, swimming pool etc. We did use the restaurant in Celtic Haven's 'sister resort', which is a great location for a drink. The food was ok, but not something we would return for.
Celtic Haven caters for those wanting to take their dogs with them. We are not one of those families. On arrival at our cottage, the patio had several dog poo bags littered across it. Whilst I'm sure for dog owners this wouldn't have been an issue, for us it was (we weren't going to pick it up :)). Unfortunately, as it was just after 5pm there was nobody in Reception to contact, so it was left until the following day. Not ideal for us, but for others I suppose it wouldn't be a drama.

Pretty courtyard setting. Extremely comfy bed. Good location.
Restaurant shut. Could have been open at least at weekend.

Dolphin was a lovely cottage. Everything was in good working order. Lovely little garden.
If i was picking out VERY minor details.
A few cracks on walls, a bit of paint peeling and holes aroud the lounge window.
Settees were a bit uncomfy.
We have a small dog who was able to escape into next doors garden under the gate a few times!
A downstair loo would have been useful for five of us too!
There was nothing we didnt like. Accommodation was clean and cosy, Lydstep was beautiful and we had a great time. Storm Noa stopped us from exploring a little so swimming pool was great!
4.5
The views, peace and quiet, friendliness of all staff
Thin toilet paper
4.5
Proximity to the beach at lydstep is excellent. Use of sister site facilities is great as there is no longer a bar or restaurant on site. Being able to take our dog, unbeatable !
Checkout at 10am is the only downside .

The cottage was lovely although they gave us the single occupancy instead of the double which was requested.. great location 👍
The amenities we're limited with times.

Restaurant on site was closed.

Very nice Place, great location. Near the sea, lovely walking for us and the dog.
The weather was not the best, but there is plenty for us to do and visit.

the property was very nice it had everything we needed
the roof window in the bedroom w as loud when it rained at night and unfortunately we had a lot of rain.

Location - lovely views.
Well maintained outdoor areas, style of buildings great with original features.
Pool was heated.
Everything was clean
Improvements needed:
- plugs in empty sockets for child safety.
- Window catches in conservatory area wouldn't shut and Suffolk latches on doors would only shut if slammed shut.
- most staff were friendly and helpful, however the lifeguard didn't offer any help on information about opening hours of the hydrotherapy suite after office hours.

Everything was very clean. Great play area and pool on site. Very close to the beautiful coastal path.
The WiFi didn't work very well.
4.5
Slow Wi-Fi but otherwise excellent accommodation and facilities

Lovely, quiet, pet friendly resort. Lovely grounds and pool. The only issues were, theWave wasn’t open and I left it too to get a spar appointment
On site restaurant open all week would be nice

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. The beach is an easy walk and clear water. Very dog friendly. The golf course attached is free to use and is fun to try!
There was nothing we didn't like. It was amazing.

Location was excellent for dogs
Felt bar and restaurant should have been open in high season or we should have been made aware that it wasn't.

Very clean and well stocked with towels etc and some start up supplies: coffee, tea etc. Dog friendly but all pets were well behaved and supervised. Gorgeous views and very comfy beds. Friendly, helpful staff. 9 hole golf course, pool, tennis court and table tennis with equipment available at reception (only fee is for balls I think). Simple but exceptionally well done. Really lovely would highly recommend.
The restaurant was closed due to lack of staff (it used to be really good!) and the bar is on a limited schedule. BUT there is a shop and restaurant etc at a neighboring site in easy walking distance which is available to Celtic Haven Guests.
4.5
Beautifully-equipped cottage. Do take time to call ahead to find out opening days/times of pool, as this changes from time to time. Highly recommend the spa facilities on site - there's a monthly offer and all details are on their website.

The accommodation was wonderful, equipped with everything that I needed. A 10 minute walk for an after-dinner beach walk which was great. Swimming pool, washing machine and clothes lines to hang up washing. Very easy to find and parking very close to my chalet. What more could I need??
There was no meeting and greeting, a code was sent for a 'box' outside the chalet. Did miss social contact with the owners.

Lovely
The spa what only open 3 /4 time week, so having a weekend break plus given spa vouchers, we could not use them
4.5
Good central location. Nicely furnished and well maintained.
Nothing really…
