nice, on the beach. nice swimming pool and vegetation. friendly staff. they helped also with flat tire to fix it. room on first side really beautiful although furniture is old
big room including also nice wardroom room (we had room with private swimming pool)
private parking included
lots of restaurants and bars around
ants around private swimming pool
breakfast includes only fruits (in 3* hotel we had fruit plus one choice from other foods),
furniture is old, sofa and chairs on terrace are nonstop wet from weather,
location is fine but huge waves (at least all our stay was only waves and not possible to normally swim - but it was almost whole beach side :( )
they require deposit (500 usd ). on other 2 hotels in Tulum we did nit give any deposit. it takes some time till it is unblocked and in fact I am still waiting although hotel confirmed it was processed by their side.
You have to pay for tea and coffee on the room (in 3* hotel was everything free).
i consider it overpriced although i got better price on Genius on booking. all accommodations in Tulum are expensive but it is not responding the quality.

beach was nice and privet
Biger breakfast !

Nice location with a very chill vibe
They should keep the restaurant open for longer. It closes at 6pm

The location, the pool, the beach, the staff :)
The lunch was pricey in comparison to other beach clubs/hotels. Breakfast should be more, it was unfortunately petite. For the room/mini bar, it would be wise to give some free coffee Nespresso capsules to the guests, before starting to charge them for each capsule.

Thankfully, I found this hotel after my AirBNB was cancelled for no apparent reason. The room was spacious enough for my partner and I. I loved the outside terrace. We also had a private pool upstairs. Pool in hotel was spectacular.
Private pool has a lot of ants , therefore, I was unable to actually get in my private pool. Sand by the beach had a lot of ants, so I was unable to walk barefooted in sand. Food was expensive. However, all of these things are to be expected in the hotel zone. While visiting other beachfronts at different hotels, I did notice that they did not have ants in their sand … atleast from what I can see.

Loved the room with private pool. Great size, super clean! Breakfast included was great - beachfront was AMAZING on the first day we were there. Unfortunate the seaweed turned up on the other days, but they have staff from 4am to 12pm attempting to clean the beach.
I liked everything

All good
Food prices were high

Bkfst was good. Dinner meals could’ve been more tasty. Rooms we’re comfortable and adequate for our stay. We were not used to so much sand.
Checking out. No paper trail for what I spent at hotel. Did not enjoy all the seaweed!

The rooms are very nicely arranged, spacious and the beach site is nice.
There is a discrepancy between booking.com offer and reality. “Breakfast included” means only bread (3 pieces for 3 people+3 small sweet breads), some fruits and a spoon of yoghurt with spoon of granola. Eggs are included only in “Ocean view” rooms.
In booking.com description it said “room with terrace on 1st floor” but we got a room on ground floor with patio, walls around and the terrace from upper apparatment above.
Part of the staff is really nice but the rest not so much.
The prices in the restaurants are unrealistic. Small beer costs 7€.
Everything would be all right if the hotel would not be so pricy. We felt ripped.

Tulum as it should be. Boutique, with just a few rooms, laid back, perfect setting, the people that run it and make it work so well. It's an amazing vibe. Rooms are polished concrete and stylishly simple. Simple things; filtred water always topped up, perfect housekeeping, breakfast healthy and perfectly done.
Selfishly, I wish it were an adults-only place; just to keep that vibe up - but it isn't and they make everyone welcome. We've stayed a lot, we always come back.
This thing with clouds and rain just appearing out of nowhere in December? Seriously, the management has to fix that, right? ;)

The hotel's location is perfect, on a nice quiet part of the beach.
The way the rooms are described on booking, and the way the photos are shown, we were under the impression we had a sea view. We felt misled as we were right by the street, above the reception, with a tiny rooftop with view on the reception building. Had I realised this before booking I would never have spent $400 usd for that room. NEVER. All in all we were super disappointed.

Great location - no parties, but still close to a few restaurants/shops/etc.
The staff was amazing, always attentive. Beautiful beach is well-maintained.
The mattress was terrible, we've also heard some weird noise a few days during our stay. The walls are pretty thin, so if you're a light sleeper it might be hard for you.

We had a great stay at Chiringuito Tulum. We were there for 8 days on our honeymoon. It's very small and intimate, which was perfect for us, and less expensive than many of the other hotels in the beach area. The property is beautiful--right on the beach, but also surrounded by maintained jungle plants. We had a deluxe room with a private dip pool on the roof. The room was beautiful and very clean, and we loved spending time on the roof. Air conditioning and wifi worked great the whole time. The wifi even reached out to the beach with full signal, which was amazing. Every staff member at the hotel was friendly and approachable, great service. The food at the restaurant was amazing, including the very detailed continental breakfast. There were a few days that we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time to go on tours, and they gave us a boxed meal the night before that we could eat instead. The beach club was really nice and never crowded. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The whole place was just calm, peaceful, and beautiful and allowed us to decompress and rest post-wedding.
The only suggestion I have is that they add an in-house bike rental. The beach road is very long and Chiringuito Tulum is pretty far down the road, so it's not very easy to get into town or up and down the beach road without a taxi. There aren't bike rentals within a reasonable distance of the hotel so it wasn't super easy to move around.

On the beach, large room, nice design, staff is pleasant
Basic breakfast (I would expect eggs with this price), coffee machine in room is not complimentary. It's not a big deal but with this high price it seems a bit cheap to request more money for it.

The staff, upon our arrival, were welcoming and very friendly. I had put in a request via email, which they remembered to do and I'm extremely grateful for. We were given a welcome drink whilst we waited for the room to be ready (we arrived at 14:50) and the room was supposed to be ready for 15:00.
The room was absolutely beautiful, and exactly as per the photos, to be honest, it was probably even nicer in person as you really did get to feel how HUGE the space was. The bed had the softest sheets I've ever felt (and we stay in a LOT of hotels...)
We ordered lunch and dinner for room service, and both came in good time and were delicious!
As we were only staying for one night (and they knew in advance this was a surprise for my partner, I had booked an ocean view suite which was definitely on the pricey end!) I would have expected the room to be ready for 3pm. We had to wait half an hour, and given the direction of the room, the sun would soon disappear from our balcony and terrace.
The rooftop/terrace had two sunbeds, but we weren't provided with beach towels to put on top of these as they were a little damp from the rain / too hot when the sun was on it. They also only provided one bath towel when two were staying.
In the morning, I Whatsapped the restaurant to ask about the breakfast which was included, and they advised that it was only the continental breakfast and I had to ask what exactly was included - I would expect this information to be given at the front desk on arrival or at least tell me exactly what we get over Whatsapp as I kept having to ask more questions to figure out what we get and how we can customise it (letting us know that we can order it to the room, what's included and what time to place the order so we know how to avoid the busy period). This is only a bit of feedback to better the experience.
The complaint I have is that at around 10:30 they started construction work on the top level of the suite next door, which was honestly SUCH a shame as we were trying to enjoy the rooftop for our final 1.5hrs before we had to check out. They should have notified us of any construction work that would disrupt our stay and devalue the room. It could not be drowned out by music. This was disappointing and not what I'd expected.

loved the layout of the rooms as well as the private pools on the balcony. we had 3 couples and they put all our rooms very close together, which was convenient. Staff was very friendly.
the breakfast was only continental and for the price i feel an egg option should have been included. We ended up paying for breakfast each day due to this.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning area of tulum, quiet but still walkable to everything. beds were super comfortable & we loved the room decor. LOVED the private pool on the roof, really glad we stayed in one of these. Also their main pool is lovely too. The breakfast was amazing too, freshly baked delicious croissants & bread, and a great food plate. We didn’t miss an American breakfast at all, not in that heat!!
Read some reviews before staying here with people complaining about bugs and/or AC or smells, honestly if these things bother you maybe think about staying somewhere other than tulum! A beach/jungle location with no electricity only generators, will sometimes affect AC and of course there will be bugs! there’s not much they can do about that! (AC worked great when we were there)
The seaweed atm is a shame all across tulum sadly, if you want a seaweed free swim Caleta Tankah about 25 mins drive away is amazing - fresh sea water lagoon on the beach with cold water - delicious!!

We asked the hotel for help to book a nice day trip based on their experience. Only that they booked a completely different trip from what they promised to us. We were in the jungle for almost a whole day without food and drinks (we were offered Mexican snacks only at 3:30 pm but we couldn’t eat it) it has been 2 weeks from this trip and my boyfriend is still not feeling good!!!
The hotel promised to help us and never answered once we left, just ignoring us after they promised to help us to get a compensation !!!

The size of the room was great, the food was incredible and we felt very comfortable. The seaweed was well controlled by staff
The shower took a very long time to warm up

Beautiful boutique hotel right on the beach that is located in the quiet area of Tulum. It is just a short walk to all the restaurants and beach clubs.
Would definitely stay here again and is located in the perfect spot for couples vs party goers.
Special thanks to Jonathan for going out of his way to help us with arranging activities.
A storm unfortunately blew in seaweed while we were here. However staff did a great job in cleaning it up and the area in front of this hotel seems to remain cleaner than other areas and was still swimmable.

The Lady at the beach with short hair was very welcoming and friendly. The rest of the staff must improve customer Service, not only working for tips.
Totally overpriced. It was a good stay but 900 dollar per night it must be perfect! Constructions going on: unacceptable. Close the hotel for a few days and make intensive renovation, not having guests who want to relax.
the terrace of the room was rotten, its really dangerous if the wood breaks (one was actually broken).
Seagrass is normal in Tulum but they have enough Staff which could clean the beach up.
Food was average, there are better options around the beach.
Breakfast was poor, paying so much.
Looks better on the pictures than it is in real.
Would not stay again, there are better options with better quality and Service for less money
