The Caribbean and the tranquility when we where there
Other than a couple moments of attitude of the servers the attention was excellent

The staff and service is beyond excellent. Absolutely the best in Tulum. Beautifully done and maintained and the staff makes you feel so welcome and taken care of. Extremely restful and peaceful.

Location is amazing and the scenery looks like a painting. The staff was friendly, especially Joshua (many thanks for your hospitality). Breakfast was not included in the rates of the room, but this was known before we booked - we explored different breakfast options nearby, as well in the Coconut restaurant.
All was great except of the expected tip in the Coconut restaurant. They included a 20% tip in the final bill amount, which is giving a bad after taste. Tipping 15% in Mexico (especially on the high prices in Coconut restaurant) seems more than fair. So we all the time had to ask to reduce this before we paid the final amount, which caused a bad feeling and the staff didn't take it well.

Beautiful location and the yoga studio was incredible. The staff were aways friendly and helpful, it felt very safe. Very relaxing stay.
There was no bottle opener in the room so the minibar was mostly for show. The sea was rough and there was a lot of sargassum. They were good at clearing from the beach though.

A warm friendly welcome, beautiful yoga Shaka and beach. We were given an upgrade on arrival and the Sanara beachfront is wonderful.
We loved our room decor and all the little touches!
We did have a cockroach encounter in our upper floor room, we only stayed one night and my husband was able to shoo it out the door. I let reception know.
I also didn’t appreciate that the beach staff didn’t stop people (non paying guests from hotel or restaurant) from walking up and laying towels on the floor next to the guest beach beds and of course they gradually migrated onto the beds when no one told them it was private.

food was wonderful. location was stunning. yoga in the mornings was welcome
would have been good to know there is seaweed in the water at the beach most of the year

the hotel is beautiful (room and overall design)
this Hotel is a scam, no usable swimming pool, a beach not cleaned with a ton of seaweed. this hotel should not be open at this time. Tons of seaweed infests the sea and the beach with a repulsive smell. The rooms are poorly soundproofed and with the price we pay (800 USD/Night for 3 people) we could claim a breakfast when it cost us approx. 30USD/pers. We paid 200USD for a dinner for 3 people for a simple meal. I consider this hotel excessively expensive and with a value in return totally below what one would be able to claim. Absolutely avoid!

Beautiful decoration and the yoga was great.
However, we just found it too expensive for what it was. We stayed at a hotel down the road just before and it was the same price for a lot better facilities including an amazing spa, larger beach front, free yoga, and two restaurants.
The algae issue when we went was problematic. Other hotels in the same price range cleaned the seaweed away more regularly.

The staff was very helpful and polite. They checked in us earlier and gave us bigger room. The beds in the room and on the beach were super comfortable. What I really loved is that the beach bed is reserved under your name and even on the day when you check out, the bed is still yours.
The place a bit pricey but it’s general situation in Tulum.

Jungle Suite 1 is stunning!
i loved everything about the property. If they had more wellness programming (5-6 workshops a day) I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely loved staying here! Everything is very thought thru and you get a feeling of bohemian luxury. The location is super, it’s close to everything yet calm. Staff is amazing, and yoga in the morning as well. This will be forever a favorite hotel for us!

Yoga sessions, quiet location on the beach, restaurant good
Terrible bedding and pillows, not comfortable. Sheets made out of bamboo when cotton surely is a reasonable sustainable option?! Rooms v basic for the price. Nothing included so worked out as more expensive than the luxurious Viceroy hotel

We absolutely loved Sanara! Our room was lovely (even better than the pictures) and it couldn't have been any cleaner. The staff is also wonderful. They were super helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we got there. We had a rental car, so it was great to have free parking available at the property. Bicycle rentals are also available onsite. Driving and parking in this part of town is definitely a challenge, so the bikes ended up being the most convenient way to explore the entire beach strip. The food at the restaurant (Real Coconuts) is also delicious. The menu is interesting and really healthy. We enjoyed everything we tried. And I can't forget to mention the drinks! We highly recommend ordering a "Surprise Me" cocktail and letting the bartender work their magic! Overall, we were beyond pleased with our stay at Sanara. It was difficult to leave. We can't wait to go back!

The real coconut was great
No wifi in my room. For the price I paid, at the very least should have wifi. No reason why even the smallest businesses there have better service than my room. Interfered with my work and cost me more money.

There are several features about Sanara that make it unique compared to other places I have stayed in my travel experiences. The focus on wellness is one wonderful feature. The restaurant has incredibly tasty, clean, and healthy meals. My husband and I particularly loved the fish tacos. The concierge services helped us find ways to tour Tulum in safe and private ways. Rob who worked at the front desk is a gem. He made our stay even more comfortable by going above and beyond everyday to answer our questions in person and through text. We will definitely return to Sanara!
