Located just off of the main highway this home was both private and centrally located. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room to spread out or to be together. Loved the views.

Great layout for our needs. Very pretty views, as well.

We all enjoyed this cabin - quick 15-20 min drive into Boone, very nice secluded area, appreciated the paved roads to get to the cabin, and we had so much space! Would absolutely stay here again

This place was wonderful. We had a larger group stay here for my son's wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home was great and we loved the accommodations.

From reserving to check out and everything in between was awesome. Any flaws was so small or simple you could careless. The view, the gated community, and the cabin were all top tier. My entire family (including my niece who's a commander in the military that flew in from Texas ) loved this property. I really hated to leave and come back home honestly. Kudos to Evolve you guys are awesome, we will definitely be back.

This was a wonderful cabin that accommodated my whole family for an awesomel mountain vacation! The location was perfect.. very easy to get to, and the owner had his cell number for any issues we had while staying. We had a little problem getting the fire place to light and I called him andhe picked up right away and helped with the issue. We made wonderful memories that weekend and we were very happy to be able to enjoy their beautiful cabin!

Everything was as listed and had everything we needed for our stay. The downstairs room with the 2 twin beds does not have heat vents but they have 2 portable heaters downstairs. There is only 1 tv downstairs which is in the living room. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice. We would book again.

My sisters and I normally take our Mom to the mountains each fall. We have stayed at numerous properties over the years. We were all very pleased with "A Little Bit of Heaven." The property was just as advertised and very clean. We have put this one on our list for a repeat stay. Thanks!!!

We had an awesome time staying at this property. It was clean. It was in the right location for the areas we wanted to visit. If I had to pick anything to change, the twin bed mattresses were not relaxing to sleep on. We would definitely book this cabin again!!

Great For Families
The location was easy to get to. The house was beautiful and overall clean. We had a small issue with one of the beds but the property manager was quick to respond and resolve the issue. The basement was a great space for the kids to play and be loud. The cabinet in the master bedroom was full of games and entertainment for the kids. Plenty of parking space. The only recommendation would be to provide plastic cups for kids to be able to use instead of the glassware offered. We would definitely stay here again!

Location Was Great
The location was convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock as well as a number of wineries we wanted to attend. The house was accommodating. However, it lacked some essentials like enough towels. There was only 7 towels for a cabin that slept 12 and there were no extra bedding or blankets for futons or for existing beds. We found a number of maintenance items that needed to be addressed such as: water in the tubs not draining, ceiling lights in the great room not working, shelves in door of refrigerator broken. Although there were stand alone heaters in the house, the house does not overall have an efficient system and it was hard to keep the rooms warm. Also, there were no instructions for how to operate the TV system. Lastly, having to take the trash to the dump was a pain. Again only 2 bags allotted for a house that accommodates 12. Overall, we enjoyed our visit with family and were able to overlook most of the items I detailed above and are mostly for the review of the owner.

Great Location, Great View, Great Stay
My friends and I had couldn't have asked for a better house to stay for a weekend stay. Close to Boone and 10 minutes to several fishing and tubing spots. Great amenities, very clean, and the view wasn't too shabby.

as advertised
we enjoyed our stay at this property. the bedroom on the main floor and downstairs were warm at night in spite of the A/C running and set at 65. nice view off back deck. easy to get to with well paved road. our group was kids in their 20-30's and parents. kids enjoyed the pool table while we rested upstairs.

Nice property but needs a new cleaning service
Property was beautiful and as described. However, the property was not properly cleaned nor sanitized. Whatever product was used to wipe down tables and counters left a sticky film and we had to wipe everything down again. Among items discovered during our stay: a dirty diaper in a closet; a half eaten, rotten apple core in a toy or game chest; food items under the couch cushions when somebody was looking for a misplaced tv remote.

A+
This place is nothing short of amazing. All furniture was comfortable. Rooms had plenty of space for sitting and sleeping. Plenty of room for a crowd to eat and sleep. We had 9 in our group.

Nice property but needs some work
A nice property providing enough space for a group of 6-10 people. Comfortable family room with small but well equipped kitchen. Very nice covered deck overlooking the mountain vistas. Game room with nice pool table was a great plus. A few things need attention to make it the best. Driveway gets water logged after rains. Also, the gutters overflow due to clogging. May cause damage to the property. The laundry closet needs a thorough cleaning. Noticed and killed a roach in the basement. Bedding could also be improved.

Snowy Get Away
Our family went to get away for a few days. It snowed the entire time we were there! It was beautiful. The property was easy to find & exactly as listed. Kitchen was well stocked. Our children, ages 3-10, had enjoyed their stay - especially in the game room downstairs! We would stay again!

Great Cabin in the Mountains
We loved our stay at this cabin. Very comfortable and plenty of room to stay with family members. Owners are responsive and the gated community gives you a nice sense of security. Great community. Very close to many of the local attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay!
Enjoyed our time at the house. The third floor worked great for the infant and the basement was a hit for the kids. If you have a large group, pack folding chairs if you plan to to sit by the fire pit. We found roasting sticks in the oven drawer. Gorgeous views. Had a wonderful stay and visit with family.

Great cabin!
Great location, just a few minutes outside of Boone! Plenty of rooms and beds for people to sleep, we had 11 people staying there and still had extra beds that weren't used! The kids loved the game area in the basement with billiards and foose ball!

Beautiful home and setting. Also very accessible.
Would definitely rent again-owner was very responsive to questions/concerns.

Great place to stay for 2 families
The cabin was great overall with nice furnishings and a layout that worked well for our family. There was a bedroom on the second floor with a queen bed as well as a loft with 2 twin beds. The main floor had one bedroom with a queen bed. The other 2 bedrooms were in the basement - one queen and the other with 2 twin beds and a futon. The one thing I will say is that the twin bedroom in the basement did not appear to have heat outside of freestanding electric heaters. This was not an issue with our stay but our visit in the fall was not super cold.
The cabin had games, movies and other nice to haves such as s'mores roasting sticks and electric heaters.
The location was easily accessible from major roads/close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The neighborhood itself did have steep, somewhat narrow (paved) roads which is to be expected for the views. There was a circle driveway which was nice and would easily accommodate 4 cars. Grocery stores are about 20 minutes away but we knew this and planned accordingly.
I recommend visiting downtown West Jefferson - super cute and touristy area. After our visit to West Jefferson we picked up pizza from Bobby D's in West Jefferson and it was still fairly warm when brought back to the house (great pizza place...probably best for takeout).

Just what we needed!
A nice, quiet, scenic place to meet up with family members and simply enjoy being together for a few days. Property was clean and well maintained. Only exception was the gas grill being left a little messy. Well-appointed kitchen made meal prep and service hassle-free. Very good vacation rental experience!

Neat and spacious
Very nice cabin, exactly as advertised. Was surprised by how actually spacious it is. My sons enjoyed the pool and foosball tables. Evening barbecues on the balcony, overlooking the valley was also a good memory for us.
Upon checking in, i texted the manager and he replied within 3 minutes. Overall, 100% worth your consideration.

Great Stay!
This was a clean and well appointed cabin in a great location. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit and also playing pool.
Most notably is the Wi-Fi signal! Very strong and all of us were able to do work/school work with no hiccups.
Kitchen had every thing we needed. Grill was great.
We went to High Country seafood for shrimp and crab cakes which we grilled.
Beds were a bit soft for our taste, but that is only our opinion.
Several games are missing parts making them unplayable. Scrabble had no board and operation has no parts. We had fun playing Yahtzee and cards.
We went to West Jefferson and walked around and visited the cheese making facility. Lovely town to stroll through.
We would stay here again!

AWESOME!
The cabin was clean, cozy, and spacious. Didn’t have any problems checking in or out. We just wish we would’ve booked more days that’s how much we loved it. A friend left a watch and the owner made sure she got in contact with me to return it. I’ll definitely be booking this exact cabin in the near future!

One con: The mattresses probably need replacing.

Great Home Away from Home
Very nice cabin and in great location. A lot of room and the four bedrooms were very accommodating. The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed our morning breakfasts and dinners on the deck. It was also nice to have a recreation area for the kids and I must say for the adults as well. Very easy to get to and from cabin. The owner and his brother who also owns a cab in in the area were very helpful to get the TV's working. The only issue we had was the heating and cooling system thermostats did not seem to be accurate. Especially the unit for the basement and first floor. We made note of this in the guest register. Had a great time in a great cabin with family. Would definitely rent again. The fire pit was also awesome for the grand kids.
