The property had gorgeous views. House was well appointed and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for a peaceful mountain getaway.

We were visiting for the weekend to attend my son’s graduation. The house was great because we had grandparents with us and there was plenty of room. The bed I slept in was very comfortable and so was the furniture inside and outside. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we had at the house. It is nice because there are two bedrooms with bathrooms on the main level. We had a couple 80+ year olds with us and besides the one step up into the house, it was very easy for them on the main level.

A group of us friends and our kids had the most wonderful time. The views are absolutely breath taking & the air was so crisp, it really was a perfect combination of everything to make the experience that much better. The house was clean, welcoming and very spacious for our group stay. We even found the little closet downstairs with all the toys and books, that was a huge hit!!
Everyone said their beds were comfortable and slept good. The furniture is even really comfortable, Inside and outside.
We were very impressed with the amount of kitchen supplies, lots of pots, pans, plates, cups... it made it easier to cook for our big group.
This was such a relaxing place to be and I can promise you, we'll be returning SOON! thanks for hosting us

We enjoyed out time away in the mountains in this wonderful house...the beautiful view from the covered porch, the hot tub and pool table, the open living/dining room, and plenty of space to spread out. We were there with our kids and our parents, but it is also set up well for a couples retreat.

This property was great for our group of 9 senior citizens . We all had had our privacy yet enjoyed the fellowship in areas this house provided. Was clean and well kept. Loved the spectacular view and it was convenient to LMC in Banner Elk where we were attending Homecoming events. Will try to rent it again.

My family stayed at Pigeon Roost to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. It was a beautiful, spacious house with amazing views. Definitely one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed in. The beds were all comfortable and we had plenty of room. Candice, our property coordinator was helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend Pigeon Roost Cabins!

We had a wonderful family reunion at Pigeon Nest. The property had amazing views, was roomy, had all the amenities one would expect from a VRBO, etc.
The front screen door slams and is dangerous for kids -- but everything else was great!

The house was in good condition, and the five bedrooms were great for the extended family members. The staff was very responsive to any questions that we may have had and the property was well stocked with kitchen appliances, dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, pots pans, blankets, and pillows.

The house was perfect. Quiet, comfortable beds, actually slept all night. We will definately plan on coming again in 2 years after our grandson gets his Masters degree, if not before. Would love to come in the fall. The turkey and fox we seen were added bonuses. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our weekend was amazing! We timed it perfectly to enjoy the snow. Thanks to Raymon for assisting my parents in getting in the house and clearing the driveway for us. The house is beautiful with awesome views of the mountains. We had plenty of space and the teenagers were entertained with sledding, skiing, and playing pool.

Beautiful home, beautiful property! We were there for 3 nights for my son's wedding. Prop mgr was on site when we checked in, making sure everything was working- even showed us how to lock back door with tricky lock that we wouldn't have known otherwise. My family were all very impressed- loved the hot tub. Altho we didn't make a fire, we enjoyed sitting around the pit, my brother playing mandolin. My parents both use walkers so was difficult to find a home in the mountains w/o stairs to get into. And the carport was perfect for 4 cars. The house was spotless, more amenities and extras in kitchen than was listed. No issues with wifi or TV. We couldn't have asked for a better place! If we all come back to the mountains again, this is the house we want again!

Quiet views and relaxation for the extended family!
We stayed for four nights with extended family and absolutely loved it! The property manager (Raymon) was quick to address the only minor hiccup that we had. Plenty of space for 3+ families. Open kitchen overlooking the vast horizon. Keyless entry was a nice feature! Lots of activities and sites within a half hour drive in any direction. we encountered wildlife almost every time up or down the mountain We look forward to coming back and exploring even more to be seen!

The property looked just like it did online. We were not disappointed by far. The home is beautiful and well kept. The owner checked on us before we arrived and warmly welcomed us. The owner is very responsive. It was so peaceful, and it was more than enough for my group of 12. The home was equipped with everything we needed to make a comfortable stay. We hope to revisit for a more extended stay. My only issue was the driveway that led to the house. My car sits low, so the bottom drug a little bit the entire way up the driveway. I know next time to drive a truck or four-wheel drive. We still made it up and down fine, though. If you plan to visit the area, I highly recommend you book this rental. It was worth every dollar spent

The house bedrooms and sleeping arrangements were as advertised. We had 5 kids under age 7, two twenty year olds, and two sets of parents. We all slept comfortably and had our own space. Great living area upstairs.
We had a great ski weekend with reasonable drives to both Sugar and Beech Mountain. The property is great for kids to explore and sled in the winter.
A big snow storm came through and we were snowed in for an extra night. Raymon the property manager was exceptional in handling the situation and getting the property plowed.
