A lodging that is a pleasure to return to after a long day and evening of being a tourist.

Comfortable, private, quiet, nice breakfast included at a time you choose (within reason, of course), nice owner/operators who are locals, keeps you travel dollars in the community.

Most Rotorua activities are either in town or south of town, and the lodging is north, so there’s 10-15 minutes extra of driving, but this also creates the quiet and the privacy that we really enjoyed.

Super nice B&B Close to Rotorua. Perfect stay

This is a super nice B&B close to Rotorua. Thanks to Jen and Gary for making our stay so comfortable. We had a great time and a good company with the other guests on the shared breakfast table. Breakfast was great. We can only recommend Parkside Boutique Lodge and we would come back anytime.

Great place to stay just outside Rotarua

Tucked away in quiet location within easy reach by car of Rotarua the Parkside Boutique Lodge was the ideal location for our two night stay. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The private outdoor space very welcome at the end of a busy day. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast comprised of a choice of cereals, toast, a delicious bowl of cut fruit and a plate with a choice of cold meat, cheese, boiled eggs, avocados and tomatoes. Coffee and a choice of teas and fruit juice were available. There’s a fridge in the communal kitchen area. Our days were busy so we didn’t use the pool, gym or sauna.

What a hidden gem! So happy to find this place on our trip. Private pool and sooo clean! Comfy, hospitable and perfect! Thank you for the yummy packed breakfast for our earlier departure and tips about the luge!

Felt like a 5 star hotel experience.

I can’t say enough good things. The facilities are immaculate, the room very comfortable—quality bedding and furniture. Black out curtains. Smart TV with Netflix. Delicious breakfast. Jen was so kind throughout our stay. This was our favorite place to stay during our NZ trip.

Best holiday my daughter and I have ever had!

I was on a very restricted diet and Viviane catered to it perfectly and was very understanding about it. She was a fantastic host and made our short stay in Rotorua a dream holiday - she welcomed us into her home and she felt like an old friend by the end of the stay - delightful accommodation, setting, room and the icing on the cake was the sauna.

Immaculate B&B in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to Rotorua.

This B&B was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. It is in a quiet neighborhood, less than 15 minutes away from downtown Rotorua. Vivienne, the owner, was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast each morning consisted of granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast - and Viv's own freshly made avocado toast. Each of the 3 rooms has its own little patio and guests have use of a communal sitting room, dining room, small kitchen, and a patio. There is even a swimming pool and workout room. I would come back here in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this B&B.

Exceptional

Our stay was fantastic and there was all the added touches that made all the difference. Lovely bed linen, beautiful towels, chocolates in the kitchen. We also requested a very early breakfast on Saturday which the host kindly provided for us.

We loved our stay and felt very comfortable and welcome. Nothing we didn't like.

Fantastic!

The Parkside Boutique was a wonderful place to stay on our long journey around New Zealand, it has been one of our favourite places to stay so far! The host was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were stunning and all the amenities were fantastic! Highly recommend staying here!

Exquisite and first class accommodation

Exquisite property, large luxurious bedroom, first class facilities in every respect. The pool and the guest area were first class. The views were lovely. The welcome was warm and Viv was most helpful and kind at all times. No better place to stay in Rotorua! A piece of luxury on our tour of NZ

The place was very clean, the host was very nice. The location is closed to all tourist attractions. Nice , fresh, and healthy breakfast daily from the host. Very comfortable bed We will definitely come back if we're going to Rotorua again. It is highly recommended.

Luxury boutique stay set amongst nature

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Viv was a friendly and accommodating host with a great eye for detail. The bright and modern decor and leafy surroundings made us feel cheery despite the rainy weather! The furnishings in the room were luxurious and room/bathroom were spacious. Everything was beautifully clean, and had been carefully considered - from having antibacterial wipes on hand, to the shared kitchen stocked with beverages and snacks we could help ourselves to. The continental breakfast was simple and fresh to get us going in the morning. There were extra amenities such as the gym, sauna & pool which we didn't get a chance to use but the wide range of leaflets helped us plan our activities. Our time staying here exceeded our expectations.

Quiet, very comfortable accommodation with a lovely host

quiet location outside of Rotorua but a very easy short drive to get there. The rooms were very comfortable, large comfy bed, spacious bathroom with a very good shower. The kitchen/lounge area for guests was excellent. All rooms have a terrace overlooking the garden and mountains which would be lovely to sit in on a hot day. We were not able to use the heated pool as the weather was bad but that too was great. The whole property was immaculately clean and Viv, the owner, was very helpful with local knowledge. We would certainly recommend it and would stay again without question

Absolutely delightful, stay, peaceful and regenerative with a fabulous host.

Nestled in the rolling hills just outside of Rotarua, this was a gorgeous place to make a peaceful little home base for our adventures into the sights and activities found in the area. The hostess Viv took great pains to make our stay welcoming and comfortable including a wealth of local knowledge and suggestions for activities. She had thought of each little detail and we lacked for nothing. Breakfast was amazing, with two options and felxible time and an accomodating hostess. Continental breakfast had freash seasonal fruit and the hot meal was cooked very well. The accomodations were wonderfully clean and the personal care taken with each element of our stay was exceptional. We are eager to return.

I would have loved to stay longer. The only change I can possibly think of is muting the talking lock. However that was such a minute concern it barely registers.

Beautiful and modern B&B

We had a lovely stay here. A great location, quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, a small, boutique B&B (just 3 rooms). The owner, Vivienne, was so welcoming and kind. The accommodation was clean, chic, well decorated, nice attention to detail, very comfortable, luxurious, great facilities, and we felt utterly at ease. The rooms are modern and elegant.
