Great location in the Hill, being out of town but close enough. House was large enough to handle 20 people, 3 families. Check in and out was hassle free.

Plenty of room for a large group. Right out of Hill City in a convenient location. Great front porch to relax from the day of adventures.

Beautiful area, saw several deer and chipmunks. We had problems finding enough linens for the number of people we had staying, and the water would wane out if more than one person was taking a shower. Overall, the property is clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Nice property with plenty of sleeping for multiple families. We had a family reunion in the hills with 11 adults, 2 teens, and a tiny infant. The kitchen, dining, living area is open and spacious with plenty of seating for everyone to hang out in the same place. The kitchen was supplied with all the pans, utensils, and appliances for cooking, and also had spices and coffee. Only thing we could've used more of was a few extra blankets for couch sleepers and the large air mattress that was onsite. Overall, a great place close to all of the Black Hills fun!

Perfect home for our family's vacation. The Manager was very accommodating and met our needs within minutes!
The home was adequately furnished and plenty of outdoor space for kids to play. We had two deer that we could see from the picture window! I would love to rent this home in the future and it's only about 2 miles from Hill City:-)

The property was clean, accurately described and we had a great visit.

Easy to find this home. Comfortable beds, very spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Bonus having the gorgeous Mickelson Trail at the end of our driveway! Owners were a phone call away. Oven wasn't heating correctly and they worked on getting it fixed asap. Nice sitting areas on each floor. Washer and dryer were very handy for washing clothes after hiking. I would only recommend more blankets, kitchen washclothes and towels. While you are here, you must check out Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Springs/Spa. And making a reservation at the Bearded Buffalo.

Was really convenient for riding right out of the cabin. Not many towels or kitchen supplies/utensils.

The location and size of the house and yard was perfect for our large family.
Managers had to fix the master sink to work and closet knobs from falling off.
the fridge water and ice dispenser never worked. Master bed uncomfortable slanted, makes a lot of noise getting out of on left side, bad frame or old box spring? Upstairs beds two on left side rooms could use an updated mattress, pretty uncomfortable.
Dishwasher leak on Mon working OK now.
Several email back n forth w hottub repair guy never fully resolved. Intense chemical bomb Wed left water green and unbreathable . We were never able to use it was very frustrating for us especially on cool nights
But Not having a dryer for our large family the entire wk was a huge inconvenience. (18 of us, not enough towels, had to dry cold air 5 hrs or hang over deck or ask our neighbor yo use their dryerugg)
Response from managers and hot tub repair were quick, Unfortunately adding repairs ie hot tub, dryer to the managers list of repairs didn’t help our week rental. Was frustrating for us to have to deal with while also planning vacation activities
To make it right I would anticipate with all this we will be getting a discounted price. Will update post if occurs. Recommend NOT renting this house until fixes are made.
However The Black Hills are a beautiful place for families to vacation. We all love exploring this area !!

All six of us were happy with this place. Quite large (3 living rooms), clean, well kept, quiet, and inviting. Located well for touring the Black Hills.

The property was very clean when we arrived. Everything was in working order. The most important, the bed were very comfortable. Plenty of room for our three families ( 5 adults 3 kids). We contacted the property managers once for a minor problem and got an immediate response. Even though this was the first week of April there was a major blizzard with over a foot of snow for the first couple of days. We just stayed at the house and enjoyed watching it snow. This is a great location for Mt Rushmore, Badlands, Wind Cave and other fun spots. Timing was not the best, the snow canceled our planned hikes, but we still had a lot of fun. This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. We all agreed to come back on another year and hope for better weather. Don't miss going to the Wind Cave it was the highlight of our stay.

Very nice house. Spacious for group of 12 adults. Having the garage available to us was very helpful also. Close to wheeling trails. Dryer didn't work, which would of been helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Caretaker was very nice and helpful!

We have stayed at this house multiple times. It is just right for a large family group, with plenty of places for people to gather. There are also many configurations for sleeping arrangements. The location is perfect, being just out of the hub-bub of Hill City, but close enough to get there easily. We enjoy walking on the Mickelson Trail, just out the door in the evenings when our activities for the day are finished.

Great place for 6 adults for a family vacation. Very roomy place. Nice bedrooms. 3 living rooms. Set back from the road so very quiet. All of us enjoyed it

For the most part it was clean. We just found a pacifier and some other trash under the beds upstairs.
Love the location! We would definitely rent again! Central to everything we wanted to see.

Stay in Hill City, SD
We had a 5 day 4 night stay. It was a perfect place for a family (3) of our size. Everyone had their own space. There was plenty of room for 13 people. Had everything we needed for cooking. Great places for kids to play outside where we could watch. Great place for family to enjoy time together. Easy access to lots of attractions. Thanks for a great time. Hosts responded quickly to any needs we had.

Beautiful and convenient location!
We had a great family gathering in this spacious cabin! Everyone had room to spread out and were very comfortable. The cabin was very clean and inviting. The location is close to many popular attractions and made it easy to get to a lot of places. The management was easy to contact and took care of the few questions we had in a timely manner. We will definitely come back!

Fun get away!
This house was perfect for our family with plenty of room for everyone. It was closer to Hill City without being right in town which was really nice. We really enjoyed our nice quite mornings in the hot tub listening to the birds.

Amazing retreat
Beautiful area in the hills, peace and quiet, great house for large families. Highly recommend

Great experience
This home was better than the listing portrays. The location is ideal. Plenty of space and privacy inside and out. Close to Hill City and the beauty of Deerfield Lake. Central to all Black Hills activities. We’d definitely come back. The only recommendation would be to stock the kitchen with basic cleaning supplies.

Nice place but attached deck is small for size of table and chairs
Spacious area for parking for we were pulling trailers. Not able to see traffic coming when leaving due to steep driveway and tall grass. Friend had to stand at top of driveway to check for traffic coming around curve.

Annual Black Hills family vacation
Black Hills is our family go to and every year we choose a different cabin to enjoy our time out in the hills. This cabin was great for the space we needed. We were able to do all kinds of activity around this location, such as the Mickelson Trail / ATV trails / and also being close to Hill City. The only issue we had was the gas stove indoors was not working and we were told to use the electric stove out in the garage (by the cleaning people). Looking back on previous current reviews this wasn't a new issue like we were told when we arrived (it was an ongoing issue not resolved). Other then that I would recommend this great location to accommodate your next family vacation.

House is nice for large family gatherings
House was nice and beds where good. It was clean. The only downfall was stove didn’t work. They had one in the garage. Not ideal but worked. Also there was birds in the master bath vent fan which where quite load. If these two things got fixed this place would be really great to stay! Would stay again!

Nice spacious home
We loved our reunion at this home. It was so comfortable for all 14 of us. The location and view were perfect. Our only complaint was their stove. It was disconnected because of gas leak so we had to keep pulling out and putting on gas and shutting off after. They had another electric stove in the garage. How convenient. They need to fix this situation immediately. Other than that it was great!

Wonderful view
We enjoyed this home very much! It was spacious and so close to everything! The only down side was their stove! It had a gas leak and so we had to disconnect it after using it. We were fortunate to have handymen with us. They had a spare electric stove located in the garage so we used that as well. Both stoves needed cleaning badly. They must fix that gas leak! But we made the best of it. I feel they should have told us about this issue. I saw some reviews about it in June but thought it would have been fixed by July 9th? Still we enjoyed our stay so much. Very good reunion home!

House was amazing and well kept. Family enjoyed the property and the location. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Beautiful home, great location.
The stove did not work and we were not notified. We called to find out there was one to use in the garage. There were no tissues, no napkins, no garbage bags. Otherwise the house and location were great for our large family group. We loved our stay after we bought all of our supplies.

Good
There was some small issues with the place but the managers were right there and fixed them. Have already told people about the place and looking to book.
