Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Host was excellent. Check in and check out was super easy. We were on the ground floor. The flat is huge, fully air conditioned with a TV and gas burner. Also, it helps that there is a supermarket, pharmacy and a fruit shop all within a minute walking distance.

Well located little gem in Luxor!

The apartment was well located and had absolutely everything I needed and more. Ahmed was incredibly pleasant and very helpful. My only regret was that my stay was short.

Great find, exceeding my expectations!

This apartment was a great find, exceeding my expectations and being excellent! Ahmad, my host, was helpful from the first contact to the last moment when I left Luxor. He waited for me at the bus station upon my arrival, took me to the apartment, offered a welcome drink, completed my check-in, and explained everything about the apartment and the surrounding area, including potential tours. The apartment is in a simple neighborhood, just meters away from the Hilton Hotel, and there are several local mini-markets where I could buy everything I needed. Ahmad helped me get an idea of prices since in Egypt, many things require negotiation. From the apartment, it's possible to walk to the Karnak Temple (15 minutes) and also Luxor Temple (50 minutes). Additionally, it's convenient to arrange tours that pick you up at the doorstep. The apartment itself is much more beautiful in person, and everything was very clean! I was able to use the Wi-Fi for work, and when one connection faltered, I could switch to another.

Safe and spacious in

Mr Ahmed from check in to check out was very helpful and made our stay safe and comfortable. The washer was very useful after days of travel. Hot water excellent and we even had some provisions for breakfast and fruits. And there is plenty of light. Strong bulbs which is unusual. Easy to read. Very good cost performance.

beyond amazing, we wish we had more time here

I think this was my best accommodation choice during my entire trip to Egypt. The hotel manager is extremely friendly, kind, and thoughtful. he is supportive and ready to help us at any time. The room is clean, super spacious, like a house with full amenities. In addition, the furniture in the house is also extremely carefully selected, very beautiful and impressive. You will have a completely relaxing space when staying here. My wife and I had 2 cooking sessions at home with all the tools available in the kitchen. It was also an extremely interesting experience.

Great value for money! Excellent service!

It was an ideal location for us to explore Luxor and the surroundings. The apartment looks exactly like in the photos. Lots of shops and eateries nearby as well. All our requests for excursions and sightseeing trips were arranged for a reasonable price. Best part is the communication after your booking. Ramadan, the owner, was constantly in touch with us planning everything and checking in on us to make sure everything is going according to plan. The caretaker, Ahmed, was our go to person during our stay in the flats and he made sure we had a great stay at the flats. Our tour coordinator,Mohamed, ensured that all our visits went smoothly. I'd highly recommend this place as it is great value for money.

Zeer ruim appartement met 2 slaapkamers. Netjes.

De locatie was iets minder maar absoluut niet verkeerd voor dat geld. Het is op loopafstand van het Hilton waar je heerlijk kon zwemmen.

Great time in Luxor in self

Ahmed is an amazing host,, very responsive with great command of English. We were provided with flexible check in time, and were looked after in a hustle free manner via chat. The property is located next to Hilton with a possibility to take a boat to central Luxor. We cannot imagine our experience to be any better

Confortable, well looked after by my host and driver who showed up when they said they were going to

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well furnished. I was very happy with my host , Anmad and the driver, Issa. Although I didn't get to meet him . Ramadan texted me a couple of times to make sure that everything was going well. The trip was paid in advance and I was very imptessed by my hosts choices of places to visit. I would recommend this trip to everyone. Luxor is a fascinating and interesting place .

Comfortable

The host was very warm and welcoming. He helped me a lot with various things. The appartement was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also had all necessary equipment. The bonus points for me were the bathtub and washing machine.

The building is in a street of the main street. To grab a taxi you have to walk a few meters. In the night it can feel a little scary but it is fine and safe.

The property is located in a very nice location near Karnak and Luxor temples.Hilton hotel is nearby.The living room is spacious with nice decorative pieces to give an Egyptian vibe.It has a sofa,chairs ,a TV ,AC and a dining table.The washroom and toilet is huge with a big bathtub,very neat and clean with hot and cold running water and toiletries are provided.The kitchen is well equipped with everything for one’s cooking and there is a refrigerator to store things.The bedroom is nice with air conditioning,a big standing mirror,dressing table and a wardrobe.The sheets and pillows are clean and fresh towels are provided. They will take care of your tours in Luxor and nearby.

A fine gem on the east bank of Luxor!

The apartment was first class: clean, quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Of all the different places I stayed in Egypt, it ranks as one of my top two favorites and I would highly recommend to any of my friends. Besides the property itself being superb, the apartment manager was kind and gentle and was so helpful in setting me up with a guide for the Karnak and Luxor Temples, as well as an early morning hot air balloon ride. I feel very grateful to have had a chance to spend a couple nights there. It was a great place to rest and relax within the bustling city of Luxor on the east bank.

Good

Quiet location off a busy street. Shops and restaurants nearby. The unit is 300 meters from the Luxor Hilton, we walked there for lunch and a few beers. The apartment is safe and secure. Hot water and water pressure were both good. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Fruit eggs, bread, and bottled awaited us when we arrived which was really thoughtful as we had a late flight. The bed and living room furniture were quite comfortable. The wi-fi was good, not great. Ramadan's nephew met us at the airport, and waited an extra long time because our baggage did not arrive, he did so without complaint. He also stopped by an ATM on the way to the unit. I don't think there is anything he wouldn't do to accommodate the guests. Great guy. All things considered, Karnak Flat is a good value for the money.

Cleanliness. The cooktop/oven were pretty bad. We don't think the bedding had been changed from the previous guest. We slept on top of the bed on an extra sheet we found in the closet. A thorough cleaning would have brought this review up a notch or two.

Very large and well decorated apartment, washing machine, complete kitchen..it was VERY clean. You can easily stay here for 5 days to experience luxor. You can also walk 1 block to the hilton and spend time there, dinner or at the pool. Guys running apartment are very professional in luxor history and arranged tour to valley of the kings and a couple of temples at good competitive rates. Also a car service to hurghada at a good price. They even brought dinner for us. If you want comfort without spending too much stay here...

Wonderful Stay in Luxor

Very convenient, clean and the kitchenette is complete. Love the hot shover. Just walk out to the next street to get local foods, a pharmacy or anything needed. Mr. Ramadan the owner who lives in Finland will communicate with us to make sure our needs are ful filled. And Mr. Ahmed the care taker will always attend to you with a smile. Can reach him at any time you need his help. He even helped us to arrange a hot balloon ride.

Really nice stay in this place!

Amazing apartment, very spacious, comfortable and super clean! We were welcomed by Mr Ahmed and he was very kind to us and towards our needs. We had a big bottle of water, a basket of fruits and coffee and tea also there for us, which is always a plus! The apartment is located in a quiet street in Karnak, but close enough to a main street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. That same street leads to the majestic Karnak Temple after a 15min walk which is great. Downtown Luxor can also be reached by walking or by getting a taxi (don't forget to negotiate a good price, even just for fun!) Perfect for independent travelers who really want to get to know places and it's people. I truly recommend this place.

Friendly host, suitable for family, affordable

Friendly hosts, 15-17 minutes walk to Karnak temple. Near to convenience stores and restaurants. Ahmed and his uncle Ramadhan has been nothing but hospitable to both of us. Can contact them directly if you need any arrangement to visit both sides of Luxor city.

Water heater sometimes took a while to heat up. Not sure whether if it’s us who are not familiar with Egyptian switch 😅. But do let the owner know should you have any problem as they stay downstairs and more than willing to help you in any way.
