This property was a great place for our family get together. The Inuit house provided a perfect space for a BBQ in the rain. The hot tub and pool table was a nice addition. Would definitely recommend this property

It was difficult to find --due to the small sign that was on the house--since no number is listed, plus it was on a very busy street, so it was a little bit loud at night. The house had a bad smell to it once we walked in--almost like a mold smell. The first upstairs bathroom leaked water so the bathmats were always soaked. We couldn't get the hot tub to warm up--so didn't really get to use that. The place was spacious and the backyard was a good size.

Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay

Was perfect for my large family with lots of couples. Great sized bedrooms, convenient sized kitchen and the games room went down a storm. Highly reccomend

It was a family stay to celebrate a birthday. The house had everything for all ages. We had adults and children. The outdoor house/bbq was amazing space. The pool table was great for the kids and adults. The house was spacious and tidy. Fun was had by all

The stay was a lovely one. The property had everything we needed for a long weekend of relaxing with the family. No problems with check in or check out. I was able to communicate with the owner while there for a minor question - which they responded to very quickly!

Good facility for a winter weekend with teenagers

Is a good house for a friend's meet-up. We had 10 of us and spent most of the day chatting and playing pool in the conservatory. The kitchen job was also a great shape and length for a poker game in the evening.
A great location with restaurants and down a 5 min walk.
I've already looked at availability and costs again, as we might use for a family break with other friends.

This property lived up to expectations. Very spacious - the 2 reception rooms were great to give people space. Kitchen was spacious and plenty of crockery and glassware. Hot tub was great as was the pool table. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t brilliant to make use of the garden but the barbecue house was used. The family thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the house is in a good location for exploring the area - only 15minutes to the Bath park and ride. Also the town is well served with supermarkets or food take always for those who don’t want to cook.

Overall, everyone left very happy with the space for 8 adults and 2 children plus one infant. The host was excellent in Comms when required and all information was supplied that made everything as easy as possible. I would say for the price, you get exactly what you pay for.

Had a great time for a 50th birthday. Well equipped kitchen and all bedrooms a good size with comfortable beds. Hot tub was fun and the BBQ in the hut was great too.

We had a nice stay at the Midsomer Manor! The owner was kind enough to supply a lot of information not only about the house, but also about safety, local shops, restaurants, and take aways. There even were suggestions about (child friendly) places to visit: we were able to enjoy some of them during our stay! The beds were very comfy. Several rooms had TV's and the children enjoyed playing with the toys that were provided. We had a bit of a problem with the front door and contacted the owner about it. He was quick to react and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything from a beginning to end was just so easy. The process of booking, checking in and leaving the property on Sunday. All of the facilities were an excellent addition to an already beautiful house. Everyone who stayed was full of compliments for the house and we would love to come back in the future.

We had a lovely break plenty of space to spread around and to be together too
Lovely hot tub and ideal garden but the levels of the garden were a bit restrictive for the elderly could do with a few rails,
Bedrooms very comfy as well as bathrooms with too, we did have a couple of issues but owner dealt with swiftly

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas and the property was perfect for what we needed.
It had all of the room we needed and more with space a plenty. The property also has a lovely large garden and decking area.
It is also situated well for family days out (we’d recommend Wookey Hole for a great family day). As well as being close to all essential amenities - supermarkets, shops, restaurants, etc. There is even an electric car charge point in the sports centre just around the corner which was brilliant for us.
The property had everything we needed and the children especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool table and happy children make for happy parents.
We had some questions/requests leading up to our stay and the hosts were very quick to respond to emails and very accommodating with our requests which is always a good thing so thank you.
All in all we had a great week and would certainly recommend the property.

This is a great place to stay with a large group of people. we had 12 adults staying over a long weekend and it was fab. Facilities were as discribed, hot tub, games room and the lodge was a cozy place to BBQ and relax. the bedrooms were mostly a good size, with a couple smaller, but they still managed to get a big bed in them. The beds were very comfortable.

Really enjoyed the weekend at Midsomer House
Hot tub and pool room were very popular with the family. All bedrooms were clean and fresh with crisp white linen. A good time was had by all. Thank you.

Fantastic property - brilliant for a group!
Perfect for a family gathering. The pool table and hot tub kept us entertained over the weekend. There really is no need to leave the property! We had a Tesco delivery arrive when we got there. We used the BBQ hut, it was a great novelty and cosy as the night went on. We visited Bath, only 15 minutes drive away. We also had a delicious take away from Jackie Chans! This property ticked all the boxes for us, age range 3 - 70, family group of 14.

Hidden Gen
This is a massive house. We only had seven people staying and we could have all hidden easily. Such a lovely massive garden and decking area.
The pool table as a great hit. Kitchen had everything you needed. We didn’t even use the games room or lounge.
Only small downside was the hot tub was not fully working but that was swiftly resolved.
Otherwise this is an outstanding property and we were glad to have found it and would return most def.

A great weekend
10 of us plus one baby had a fantastic weekend celebrating a 60th birthday. The property was perfect and the hot tub was particularly useful as the weather very sunny. All the facilities were as described. We would be happy to book again!

Family gathering to celebrate dads 60th
The property was as described. Large and bedrooms were lovely. We were unable to have the bedrooms set up as described in the information e.g sofa bed in room etc so we had to use the lounge downstairs for children. At first I was disappointed however, the lounge was actually great and had tv sofas and beds for the kids.
The hot tub was great but couldn’t use the first night due to cleaning. Lovely welcome of milk, bread & butter.
The house did smell like cigarettes upstairs (none of us are smokers) but was very clean and well presented. Nice area with really easy walk to shop/pool etc.

Great trip
We had a wonderful time on this trip, the house is very clean and spacious and we certainly enjoyed the use of the hot tub and pool table. The communication was great right from the outset. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect family home
We stayed for a 3 night family break in April, and it was just perfect. The house was great, the comfiest beds (there were 10 of us staying and all were so happy with the beds). A pool table and hot tub to keep us all entertained, and the hut at the bottom of the garden was perfect for bbq’ ing dinner and marshmallows. Plenty of space and seating areas, very clean, great location for local amenities and takeaways. James the host was very helpful with our questions and advice.
Ideal location to drive in to Bath. Would definitely recommend staying here and will visit again. Thank you for letting us stay ;-)

We really enjoyed our stay. A very large house with lots of room. Great beds
Good points: Loved the large bedrooms with good bedding & really comfy beds.
The hot tub was great and we loved the pool room & BBQ hut. Large secure garden for the dogs.
Well equipped house with everything we needed.
Bad points: Not really bad, but the water pressure for the showers wasn’t great.
The house is very close to neighbours and the owner/caretaker lives on the premises (we did not realise this)We are not the quietest of guests (large family and friends get together) and this was to celebrate a significant birthday and we hope we didn’t
cause too much of an inconvenience during our stay.
We loved our time spent at the house and would definitely recommend.

Is what it says on the tin
The property was perfectly situated for what we needed. The space was great and could have done for more people. It is an old house so expect uneven floors and creaky stairs. It could have done with a bit of a deeper clean, but over all we had a great stay. We went in the middle of storm Eunice and there were a few electric issues which were easily fixed as everything is really accessible

Lovely property, could do with a few tweaks
From first contact the property owner has been extremely helpful and prompt to respond. On arrival at the property we were very pleased with the overall house, but as the weekend went on a few issues came to light.
The house has beds for 12 people (not including sofa beds) but there are only 10 dining chairs for the table, meaning the whole party struggled to sit and eat together.
The house was advertised as having an X box but this was not present in the house.
The house has two bathrooms, but both showers need attention - the one in the shower room kept cutting out and the shower in the bathroom quickly over flowed from the shower tray. The bath is extremely slippy.
The garden is beautiful and the BBQ hut is a great feature, but the decking was lethal when wet. The addition of a hand rail would be much safer. The hot tub was heated and ready to use, but unfortunately one of our party cut their foot on a shard of glass in the bottom of the hot tub. We had not taken any drinks outside (as the weather was not very kind to us!) so the glass was obviously left there from previous guests. This naturally put us off using the hot tub any more.
Other than that, the house has fantastic potential and is in a great location. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen well equipped. The games room was a huge bonus.

House was lovely but step up to kitchen quite high for young or elderly people and could benefit from a rail on outside steps otherwise it was do lovely to accommodate a large family gathering

Excellent get together with friends
Great house, we were a group of 2 families of 4, 1 family of 3, family of 2 and a single adult. We all fitted in perfectly and did not feel on top of each other. Beds were very comfortable.
Large kitchen table but not enough knives and forks.
Clean with plenty of towels.
Great hot tube, which was used every day.
We used the BBQ hut, but this is not heated and you are not to sleep in it overnight, although description said you could, but did not effect our stay.
Went to Longleat, Weston Super Mare and Wells. Not long journeys.
Great Chinese food just a few doors away and very close to the high street for all other shops.
We had 2 dogs and stayed downstairs, a stair gate is to prevent them going upstairs, also loads of ground floor for them.
Parking fitted our 4 cars, one of which was a van.
Had lots of fun around the pool table, with a big TV next to it. Access to WiFi.
We would definitely stay again.
